CybZer0
I'm confused. May you clarify what this is? Im genuinely curious though, if I post this, I will get a history of a shipgirl? What is a shipgirl? Is it codename for leader/captain? Is a shipgirl a girl that works on a ship? Like a pirate? Is it a reference to your gif? Idk, I'm just guessing at this point. Oh, is it a comic book character? No, probably not. Oh I googled it! I got, war vehicles personified as anime girls, someone said its a prostitute for sailing ships, and lastly, someone said it's a romance kind of shipping. Apologies for so many questions. Imperial Japanese Navy Battleship Kongo ("Indestructible"), named after Mount. Kongo in Japan. Laid down in Barrow-In-Furness in England in 1911 as part of the Anglo-Japanese Naval Alliance. She patrolled Japanese colonial acquisitions in China in 1913. Kongo was extensively refitted to match with her sister ships as a true Battleship, but kept a very high speed. A ship of this class (Haruna), was selected as Emperor Hirohito's personal ship. Kongo supported Japanese landings in European colonies in the Far East in 1942. Kongo participated in the Battle of the Philippine Sea, sinking several US warships. She was Torpedoed and sunk by Submarine USS Sealion in the Formosa Strait on 21st November 1944, and was the last Battleship sunk by Submarine in naval history, as well as the only Japanese battleship sunk by Submarine. Sister ships of the class included: Hiei, Haruna and Kirishima. Typical of Japanese Battleships, they were all named after mountains.
