Although I'd normally vote Empoleon in this case because Napoleon references, Volcarona's been putting in a lot of work lately [though I still don't know why Gamefreak made it late evolve and coupled with being a Slow Exp mon). I really like Volcarona because it contributes to putting Bug types on the OU spotlight, and of course because it gets really scary after a Quiver Dance or two. Not even rocks have managed to push it away from the Smogon OU tier. Flash Flyer - Sakura Posted September 13, 2017 Author Report Share Posted September 13, 2017 It's kinda funny that Volcarona was legitimately sweeping 4-0-0 at the time this poll was made, but Empoleon made an amazing comeback in the end (even if only edging by one).
