Beyond banishing: Erasing

Erasing is a mechanic I created that represents what banishing was supposed to. Erased cards simply do not exist for the rest of the Duel. No card can interact with them, Special Summon them back, or even activate effects based on how many erased cards there are. As a matter of fact, as far as the game is concerned, erased cards never existed in the first place.

I don't have any cards that deal with this mechanic so far.

Could be interesting.

"Stark Erasure"

Declare 1 card name. Erase all your cards with that name that are on the field, banished or in your Main or Extra Deck, hand, or GY, then, if you do, declare a second card name, Erase all your opponent's cards with that name that are on the field, banished or in their Main or Extra Deck, hand, or GY.

At the cost of a certain card (ideally a low-power one, or one whose usage has run its course), you can potentially eliminate at least 1 of your opponent's playmakers. Obviously still needs some work to flesh out the details.

"Automaticy Stopper Plus"

Your opponent Erases all cards with "automatic", "automatically", or "Win the Duel" in their effect text from their deck.   Every end of an End Phase: the controller of that End Phase gets their LP set to 200.  You cannot summon "The Wicked" Cards or "The Wicked" Tokens while this card is face-up on the field. The effect of "Dark Hole" becomes "Your opponent pays 100 LP" and the effect of "White Hole" becomes "You gain 100 LP".

Might be op.  What do you think?
