My Pokemon don't get Ev's from Battle Tower/Battle Frontier do they?

 

No. Pokemon only get EVs when their EVs aren't maxed out and against wild or in-game Trainer's Pokemon.

 

Thanks, I was going to use an Azelf that I hadn't maxed out yet. I just didn't want to screw it up.

It's hard to pick a starter right now, looking at the first evo i would pick the grass, but look at Piplup, i wouldn't have picked it just by looking at the first evo, but i did when i saw it's final evo, it's typing it's appearance, i picked it.

So, I traded in my New Super Mario Bros Wii and Luigi's Mansion at Gamestop today, along with my old DS. I bought a new Metallic Silver DS Light for about $43 in cash. I decided to celebrate by restarting my Ruby Version that I got off of ebay, and making a video walkthrough. I need a good team for this, and I need YCM's help deciding on a team that is as type-efficient as possible, can be caught early-game, but without shitteh pokemon. Help? I was thinking The Seedot or Lotad evo line for one slot. Should I use one of those? If so, which one?

 

Also, Can I use a Gameboy SP with a Pokemon GBA game and hooked to a wireless adapter, and a DS Lite with a GBA Pokemon game in it to trade over wireless? I've always been curious about that, but never bothered to test it.

You only have Ruby, and Seedot sucks.

 

My personal choices: Torchic + Ralts + Taillow/Wingull + Physical-based Pokemon

 

Only having four on your team is good, as you can get pretty high leveled and the Elite Four pretty much sucks if you are at their level.

 

Is this an LP where you commentate, or just a video walkthrough?

 

GBA games don't work over wireless, I THINK.

I have Emerald, but I don't have all of my clone glitched pokemon migrated yet. I have alot of good clone glitch pokemon that I traded from Fire Red. My Friend let me use his trade adapter, so I traded over my Zapdos, Blastoise, and I think I still have a glitched Sceptile lv77.

 

That sounds like a good team.

 

I'll probably commentate. Some people might want to listen and play that part of the game at the same time, which I used to do. I eventually quit using walkthroughs.

Don't go in the Ice Cave or Ecruteak sides. Surf in between them, and you'll see another entrance to Mt. Mortar. Go there, and don't go down the ladder. Surf once you enter the cave.

I haven't played SS in ages. I'm still trying to fully beat Sapphire before I go beat Red and do that other stuff I missed. And then... I need to start IV breeding and EV training. D:

 

I'm still searching for Karate Master.

 

EDIT: I found him. :D

Could someone trade me something with heart scale? I need to reteach my Tourney Blissey Egg Bomb. I forgot it needs to remember that until the tourney is over.
