[The Warden]

Duke's feet were pounding the ground as the battle was within sight. He had a stabbing pain in his sides and was forced to stop. Doubled over, he was breathing heavily. 'I was....*pant pant*.....never meant for......*pant pant*.......cross country running' he panted heavily. The pain in his side subsided and he kept running.

[ZhaneX]

Once Sorcermon had wrapped is leg in ice, BlackWarGrowlmon used the mechanical 'ponytail' coming from the back of his head to smash the ice apart, freeing his leg, though leaving some shards of ice stabbed into it. Grunting through the pain, BlackWarGrowlmon leveled himself before charging his cannons again, this time aiming the powerful twin lasers just at Sorcermon.

"Atomic Blaster!"

As BlackWarGrowlmon fired his cannons at Sorcermon, Vincent jumped up onto his head and intercepted Celia's kick, blocking her kick with his arm, which also became wrapped in a pitch black digisoul.

"Y'know I'd really rather not fight such a pretty girl, but if you try and attack my partner you leave me no choice, now do you?"

[Hydra of Ages]

Ceila recovered quickly from the block, rolling backward and landing on BlackWargGrowlmon's arm before jumping again, once more suspending in air far longer than should be necessary. "I fight those who would fight others." she said simply, quickly spinning and aiming a roundhouse kick at the human's head, still burning completely with Digisoul.

 

Sorcermon grunted. "Snowflake, Defend!" he commanded, raising one hand as a paper-thin shield in the shape of a snowflake appeared, taking the attack. He grunted with effort at the beam pressed against his shield, sucking in breath when he saw a few hairline cracks appear, but smiled as the shield held up until the attack finished. He flicked his arm, making the guard vanish. "Aquarius, Fill." he commanded, pointing skyward, above the battle field, as water appeared in mid air, forming a gigantic aqua sphere high above them.

"Hm?" she glanced at Zach, startled out of her thoughts as she watched the other Digimon around them battle. "Sorry, did you say something?" she said with a hint of sheepishness, rubbing the back of her head.

[Mr. Hyde]

Zach sighed. "I asked if you wanted to do anything if this is our last battle...I mean there are a ton of frieken digimon here. Kimeramon is gonna be busy with those two dragon pokemon. And my twin's down there. It's all sorta confusing..."

Lance kneeled before Veemon. "This is gonna be your first battle...if we get in it."

"Cool!" Aero said with a jump of glee.

[//Zeromaru//]

Sma and Phelesmon kept flying in the same direction until they knew for sure if it was an influential Tamer and not a marine. Sam was right. They droped out of the sky and hit the ground running. Dodging blast and explosions as they went.

 

"Hello there. Excuse me." Sammy shouted to the human, "Could you help me?" Yasyamon knelt down to let Sammy jump off of his shoulder, then walked with his swords ready in case it wasn't a Marine.

"Just be careful remember that Sammy."

[ZhaneX]

While Sorcermon was preparing his next attack BlackWarGrowlmon took the time to use his thrusters to jet forward, raising his right armblade to strike Sorcermon straight on with all the kinetic force generated by his rapid thrust forward.

Meanwhile Vincent calmly blocked Celia's roundhouse kick with his digisoul embued left arm while adjusting his glasses with his right.

"'Fight those who would fight others'? That's a rather all-encircling policy, don't you think? Everyone fights."

Vincent then raised his right leg and kicked out at Celia's stomach.

[Hydra of Ages]

Sorcermon grunted loudly as he was shoved backward. He flew through the air for a couple yards before he quickly shoved his legs out behind him, his levitation finally kicking in and allowing him to gain grip again. He sprinted back towards the cyborg dragon, his movements more like speed skating, as he flicked his arm toward the massive bubble of water he had created. "Aquarius, freeze!" he yelled as the sphere quickly crystalized and fell down in massive, though slightly sporatic, chunks, each spiked with pointy ice shards. All of the ice shards seemed to fall just behind where he ran past, as easilly passed by the robotic dragon, ice falling down around him.

 

Ceila didn't bother dodging the attack and simply used it to aid her descent downward, springing her legs up off an offshoot of rock she was hit towards, she aimed three quick jabs towards the human's face and a sidekick to his chest, each punctuated with digisoul. She didn't bother replying to his own response.

Seri giggled and flicked a bang of her hair. "Don't worry. Remember, I told Cravvy not to let anyone get too near us." Her eyes twinkled a little bit. "Trust someone who has seen him fight. This is not at all the end."

[Mr. Hyde]

Zach crossed his arms. "I guess not." He said with a smirk. "How tough is he?" He asked grabbing her hand, watching all the destruction happening. "This is cool. I don't think any of us are going to have to retreat this time. We can beat them!"

Lance also crossed his arms. He was jealous that his brother was getting hot girls. "Hmmm...that would be sweet if i had a girlfriend in this so called 'World'."

[The Warden]

Duke had finally made it to the battlefront. He was panting heavily, but ready for battle. He scanned the area, and found BlackWarGrowlmon to be the closest. 'Hey metal mouth' he taunted bravely.

[Hydra of Ages]

Seri shrugged and pointed at a thin wall of ice in the broken glacier a little ways away from their own position, where Groundramon was currently apprehended. "See that mountain-side type thing? That was made when he resurfaced." she explained. "Even in Champion form and a dramatically smaller form, there are few digimon that can match Leviamon's raw power, even at the Mega level."

((Yeah, we don't need EVERYONE ganging up on 1 person...))

 

Temblor glared at the big fish and slammed his wing arms upward, going for a left uppercut and a right hook simultaneously "Come on Flipper, I'm thinking sushi" he told the Coelamon smiling, smoke coming from his pistons in a large cloud, meant more for intimidation and effect than as a distraction, but whatever works. He never really thought about why a dragon would have pistons, but, really, he didn't care one bit.

[Mr. Hyde]

Zach nodded. "I guess so." He sat down and let go of her hand. He thought, "I guess she's not that all into me...man." He placed his fist in his cheek. He just wanted her to make a move instead of him doing it all the time. He thought it was fair since a giant digimon battle was going on. But this was a beautiful scene. He loved snow. But his twin, Lance, loved Spring. They were always opposites on everything. But it was ok. He wondered if he was serving under Ogudomon also. But he was distracted by the beautiful woman standing beside him.

 

"DONT FORGET ABOUT ME!!" Kimeramon said with a roar. "I haven't fought you yet. HEAT VIPER!" Kimeramon shot an energy beam at Groundramon.

As the numerous ice shards came raining down at him, BlackWarGrowlmon's armblades began to glow again and he swung his arms back and forth unleashing energy wave after wave to shatter the spikes.

"Radiation Blades!"

Despite his best attempts, some shards still got by his defenses, leaving several large slashes across his arms and legs. After the barrage was finished, he looked around to see Sorcermon skating around.

"Grah, I can't beat him like this! Vincent, dedigivolve me, now!"

Meanwhile Vincent generated a digisoul around his right arm as well, using the added power to block Ceila's punches, but was left open to the kick which sent him flying a couple of feet away. Rolling across the ground he stopped rolling in a crouching position when he heard BlackWarGrowlmon's request.

"Heh, if you so insist."

Pulling out his digivice, Vincent pressed the button on the side causing a dark light to erupt from the top. The armor around BlackWarGrowlmon started to glow before fading away into nothing but data which flowed back into Vincent's digivice, leaving BlackWarGrowlmon in his Champion form, BlackGrowlmon. After reverting his partner to Champion Vincent went back on the offensive. Standing up he rushed towards Ceila before dropping down and sliding across the ice, spinning on the ground to try and trip her with a kick to the back of her knees.

BlackGrowlmon also went on the offensive, raising his head up as dark red flames began to leak out of his mouth.

"Black Exhaust Flame!"

Bringing his head back down, BlackGrowlmon unleashed a flood of dark flames at Sorcermon.

[The Warden]

Duke's mouth twisted in annoyance as he raised his shield. 'Mirror Offset' he shouted, firing the green-white blast straight for BlackGrowlmon.

[Blackstone Dresden]

Meteormon, still barely in his Perfect form, staggered to his feet, the impact from the blades stronger than they should have been "What in the name of Hell are you?" he asked BlackGrowlmon flying back towards him, his fist shimmering "Big Bang Blow!" He shouted, punching at the back of BlackGrowlmon's neck.

 

((I already told you, he can reach his namesake, and seriously, someone's gotta not be fighting BlackGrowlmon))

 

Wingdramon sent his Blaze Sonic Breath at the Heat Viper, canceling them both out "What, you don't think I can take on a sleeping Demon Lord and a conscious pain in the ass?" Ashu asked "Well, you're probably right but come on, no sucker punching my brother" he said "Exploding Sonic Lance!" He roared, firing his missile at Kimeramon "It helps that he's so slow though"

 

Minervamon, meanwhile, was getting bored of Garu and was looking to move on to bigger and better things, namely she was waiting for a Mega to fight and prove her worth to Seri.

Sam hadn't really been paying attention as he was running, partly because of the events that had happened and partly because Phelesmon had been deflecting all of the shots that came near them. This war is becoming more intense. He thought Ogudomon makes it sound so simple, that we can win anything with a flick of our wrists and a click of our heels. But that's not how it happens and he knows it.

"Are you okay Sam?" Phelesmon questioned him. They continued running and because Sam wasn't paying attention he didn't notice Phelesmon fall behind him. He had been hit by a stray shot and was now lying on the floor, he used all of his strength just to get up. As he looked up time slowed down and he noticed a missile heading towards his partner. "SAM LOOK OUT!!" Sam heard the shout and turned, as he did so he noticed they explosive object flying through the sky towards him.

 

Sammy and Yasyamon crept closer to the statuesque human, who apparently hadn't heard them. Yasyamon was the first to break the silence, "I don't like this, I think we should go."

"No Yasyamon we can't not yet anyways." He told his digimon decisivley, "Hello can you hear us?" There was no response. As they movedforward they noticed that the human wasn't moving at all, never mind responding. "I don't think he's Okay Yasyamon do something." yasyamon used weak attacks to try and warm up the frozen human.

"Hmm. Puppet Master!" Yasyamon spoke quietly but loud enough for the attack to work. The human wiggled and then broke down into nothing. "Whats wrong with him?" Sammy ran over to where the marine had been.

"That wasn't human."

"You mean it was a digimon?"

"No not a digimon either."

"Then what?" As Yasyamon got closer he could see that it was not even living, "A Snow...mon?"

"Yeh, but who made it." Sammy wondered as he walked around the open ledge. He looked everywhere for some sign of a creator, until he stumbled. "OW what was that?" He searched through the snow till he found a bone, broken in half.

"A Mojyamon." Yasyamon told Sammy as he examined it carefully, "And my friend... He must have been killed by the black army. I'm surprised that they didnt destroy his work of art though."

"C'mon. There isn't anything else here. We're gonna freeze if we stay much longer."

"Now you are talking my language Sammy." Yasyamon told him.

"We need to get to that battle."

"Why do you insist on making my job hard?" Picking Sammy up Yasyamon jumped down the cliff edge.

[ZhaneX]

Duke's sudden attack caught BlackGrowlmon by surprise, knocking him to the ground, and out of the path of Meteormon's punch. Getting up, he raised up his bladed arms as flames continued to spew from his mouth.

"What am I? Who knows? Who cares? All that matters is that I'll crush you!"

The blades on his arms began to glow with black energy as BlackGrowlmon rushed at Meteormon.

"Dark Blade!"

 

((Seriously? I don't remember that...oh well, cool. And I agree, why am I the target? 3-on-1 really isn't that fair...))

[Mr. Hyde]

Kimeramon grinned. "So. You want to play now Ashu. That's fine with me. But i must warn you, I'm way stronger than i was during our last encounter." He Shot a giant Heat Viper at Ashu's missle completely anihilating it. It still was flying in the air towards Ashu.

[Hydra of Ages]

Coelamon sighed. For a moment, he seemed almost depressed. And then, he smiled a little bit. "Alright then. I guess if it's what you want..." He spun quickly out of the way of attack, in a slippery fashion befitting a fish, before jumping up high into the air, until he had peaked even over his own ice field. "Ice Breaker!" he cried before launching himself down into the snow like a bullet. He hit the ground and went down into a dark hole, unseen by everyone else.

 

And then, there was a mighty roar that sounded unlike what a usual Coelamon would make. "ETERNAL ABYSS!" it called, as the massive symbol of Envy appeared on the circular field of battle.

 

And then, the glacier cracked and melted. The ice, snow and ground became water, chucks of ice overturned and floating like minature ice cubes. The water reached into what seemed to be an infinite dark abyss. Suddenly, a quick shape leapt upwards, pushing the largest remaining chunk of floating ice upward and cleaving it on the downturn with his tail crushing through the ice easily.

 

Coelamon landed on the ice chunk and gave a roar, the symbol of Envy glowing bright enough to obscure his features. Excess data wafted off his form, as if he were creating so much power his core, that his body could no longer contain it. He stared at Groundramon.

 

"Don't make the mistake, mortal, of equating me to a common Coelamon." he glared at him with eyes old as the seas themselves. "The Ocean is my domain, and mine alone. Neptunemon was less than a guest, but a stowaway, taking control after the captain fell. I am Old as the digital world itself. Ogudomon may be the parent of my true form, but only the benefactor. Indeed, I am made up of some codes older than even Huanglongmon." he stared at him.

 

"And I will NOT. LET. YOU. PASS." he growled, water rumbling around him.

Seri blinked, and giggled to herself, smiling wildly. She breifly hugged Zach and kissed him, letting him go a couple seconds later. "Sorry." she said with a smile. "Me and Coelamon are connected by the Seal of Envy. And right now, I feel really giddy and full of energy." she said, still grinning brightly.

Sorcermon braced himself against the attack, creating a bubble of storming ice to deflect the smoke. He panicked a little when he realized he could not see the opponent and closed his eyes, trying to sense his data presence.

 

Ceila was taken momentarilly by surprise and crashed to the ground, her training allowing her to use the momentum to speed her recovering, standing up again and aiming a snapping triple kick to the other human's chin, her Digisoul charging abnormally large on the third one.

[zaneko]

Garu panted heavily. The stupid little brat of a mega was toying with him and he couldn't do a thing about it! He glanced around. The skullsatamon and Grey were weaving about in the sky, exchanging blows. Dan was using his newly developed soul arts on the Dark soul user. He was on his own. Not a good position to be in.

 

Grey slammed his gun barrel against the Skullsatamon's staff. The martial art moves Aniki taught him were coming in useful as he fought the skullsatamon. He disingaged with a shove and stared down at the enemy.

"Is that the best you got?"

[The Warden]

Dule lost balance on the block of ice he was on and he fell into the water. He sank like and stone and he begun to flail, only to realize that he was somehow breathing. He tapped the mirror where his face was and realized thta it was a mirror. 'Oh, I guess Mercurymon don't breath' he thought as he sank.

[ZhaneX]

As the kicks came towards him, Vincent blocked each kick with his hands, but was caught off-guard by the sudden overcharged third kick, which sent him skiding across the ground a few feet. After stopping he immediatly ran towards Ceila again, this time jumping up as a digisoul wrapped around his left leg as he went for a flying kick right to her chest.

"Ok Sammy where should we go and who should we fight?" Yasyamon asked his tamer sarcastically.

"I don't know who looks like they're in trouble?" Sammy looked around but all he could see was fighting, he couldn't even tell whose side he was on.

"Well there are a number of digimon and humans who could use our help." Yasyamon surveyed the scene, from this high vantage point they could see everywhere. Unfortunatley they were exposed and it was making him nervous. "There a WereGarurumon and he is fighting an Olympian."

"Whats an Olympian?" Sammy said as he was being picked up by the digimon.

"A mega level digimon, but by the looks of it she is only Minervamon, weak compared to her brethren. Strong compared to us. I believe I could even the odds for that digimon over there though." Yasyamon said breathlessly as he bounced down to the ground holding his human.

 

"SAM NO!" Phelesmon glowed a bright green and the light glowed and lit up the entire battle field. All Sam saw was the missile coming towards him, until the light woke him from the daze. Then he realised what danger he was in. The next thing he knew he was being pulled over by a large digimon and rolling. "DOUBLE IMPACT!!!" The digimon that was formerly Phelesmon was shooting rapidly out of his shotguns at the incoming missile. It exploded in mid air and was far enough away not to cause any damage to either the digimon or Sam.

[Blackstone Dresden]

((BK, fight Coelamon, narrow it down to 2-on-1))

 

"Guard Rock!" Meteormon shouted again, hardening to blunt the impact. It was still powerful but nowhere near BlackWarGrowlmon's strength and all it did was daze him

 

"Blaze Sonic Breath" Ashu said, sending his firebreath at the Heat Viper, however, this time, the Heat Viper dissipated and the flame kept going "So have I" he reminded Kimeramon

 

Temblor knew when he was quite literally out of his element and noticed Beelzemon just standing there "Alright, you go protect your batteries, I'll fight this loser" He said, sprinting towards the Demon Lord of Gluttony, and moving incredibly fast despite his sheer mass

 

"Come on" Minervamon said sweetly "Digivolve for me so that my sweet Seri will love me for destroying you" She swung her sword again, still not using a single attack. Neither one of them had taken a hit, but it was almost certain that was only because Minervamon chose not to connect whenever she swung her blade at Garu

 

"You're a fighter" Max said, narrowly blocking each of Dan's attacks "But, you forget one simple thing" He shoved Dan away from him and a band of Dark DigiSoul obscured Max's arms up to the elbow from view

 

"Of course not" SkullSatamon said with a smirk "But I'd rather you join us than fall" he told Grey "Why not go SkullGreymon, or BlackWarGreymon if you're up to it" he swatted his staff outward, intending for Grey to meet it with his gun arm

[ZhaneX]

"So my Champion form cannot deal enough damage to you with a single blow eh? Then I'll just have to keep on hitting you until you fall!" BlackGrowlmon let out a loud roar as dark energy built up on his arm blades again.

"Dark Blade!"

Rushing up to Meteormon again, BlackGrowlmon began to deal hit after hit to the rocky digimon with his arm blades, not planning on letting up any time soon.
