OOC: Methinks the Tamer doth protest too much.

IC: "Hold it, dragon boy!" Kumbhiramon countered. "If it wasn't for the Digi-Marines, we would have had our butts kicked ages ago!"

"I agree with my brother's statement, even if it is a bit crude." Antylamon seconded. "The Lieutenant's men aren't simply goggle-headed boys with a righteous heart. They're soldiers, and very good ones, and that's what we need here."

Ceila simply stared at Vincent and returned to her feet. "The sentiment is mutual." Ceila said quietly, though still audible, and got into a fighting stance. She braced herself when Vincent ran at her, and blinked in slight shock when he tossed a snowball at her, bating it out of the way with her free hand.

 

Unfortunately, that minor distraction cost her the valuable split-second timing she needed to avoid the kick, and grunted as she felt the kick connect directly with her body, sending her flying backwards. She attempted to use the velcotiy to help her way up, but botched it half way through, tumbling a little on her head before she returned to her feet properly from the role. Her head was feeling a little dizzy, but she shook it off, covering her body in Digisoul once more.

 

Sorcermon smiled when DarkGrowlmon attempted to throw snow in his face, and made the slightest twitch of his finger when the debris hit the air, sending the cold material back into the dark dinosaur's eyes before soaring over his claws. He raised his staff to the sky. "Aquarius form!" he called, as water once again appeared, this time in the shape of a wide, thick, clublike object around his staff. "Aquarius freeze!" he called, the water immediately solidifying once again into the brittle, sharp-edged glasslike ice it was before, before he proceeded to attempt to smash the club down on his opponent's spine and head area.

Jack sent another glare at Antylamon and Kumbhiramon "It's not the Marines I have a problem with, it's just this one punk that I have a problem with" He said "This is the second time he's disobeyed a direct order even though I'M the one Huanglongmon put in charge, not him, ME. If he refuses to respect the proper chain of command, I'll polite ask Huanglongmon to send him back to his world and make due with the rest of the marines" He shook his head "By the way, you literally owe us your life" He said "Huanglongmon sacrificed a DigiCore to bring you two back, as well as reviving your comrades. You owe us."

 

"Sorcermon, your partners with that girl over there right?" Meteormon asked, landing next to him on his fingertips and knees "She's got an excess of DigiSoul, use some of it, go Perfect" he suggested "This guy's too strong, as an Perfect, he would have beaten us if he wasn't so bulky, but as an Adult, he's still stronger than our combined efforts" Meteormon's whole body shimmered "Digivolve so we stand a chance" he sighed. Nothing made sense. This Dragon couldn't be Lucemon, and SkullSatamon was almost certainly either Barbamon or Daemon, and he wasn't the leftover either, but he was still strong, rivaling some Royal Knights in fact. Something clicked in his mind at the thought of Royal Knights "Sir Gallantmon..."

While Ceila began to power herself up, Vincent looked over in BlackGrowlmon's direction to see that he wasn't doing too good with both Sorcermon and Meteormon double-teaming him.

"Heh, he asked me to de-digivolve him, and now he's losing. Whether he wants to or not, I guess I should put him back up to Ultimate."

Raising his hand, Vincent generated his pitch black digisoul, which then solidified into a stream of data that he fed into his D-tector, which glowed to signify that BlackGrowlmon would be digivolving.

"Now that that's dealt with-" Vincent adjusted his glasses to refocus on Ceila who was now total covered by a digisoul again, "-you. Though really, I'm not a fan of hand-to-hand, I prefer using a spear, but since nothing of the sort is around, I'll just have to make due."

Rushing at Ceila, Vincent charged his right arm with a digisoul as he moved to punch her in the left side of her stomach.

BlackGrowlmon meanwhile had been forced face first into the ground after Meteormon had punched him in the face, and Sorcermon had clubbed him in the back of his neck. As he made a move to get up, his body became encircled in data, which dispursed to show that he was back in his more metallic Ultimate form, BlackWarGrowlmon.

"Feh, does that bastard think I'm so weak that I cannot take these two as a Champion?!"

Rising up in seeming outrage at the surprise digivolution, BlackWarGrowlmon spun around in an attempt to bat his two attackers away with his armblades before stopping and focusing on Meteormon, his chest cannons already beginning to charge.

"Atomic Blaster!"

Yelling out the name of his attack, BlackWarGrowlmon fired the twin beams of irradiated energy at Meteormon, aiming to destroy the annoying rock.

IC: Something in Daniel finally snapped.

"Fighting Belphemon isn't our objective anyways. Our mission is to conquer that Fort over there."

He got back on Tiamat, Kayla fired up her throusters, and the others prepared to move out.

"You want to fight a Demon Lord so badly? Fight him! Huanglongmon chose YOU as his special emissary or whatever! You take on Mrs. Tall, Dark, and Fuzzy over there!"

"Furthermore, you actually HELPED us, 'General'! You freed us up from having to fight Belphemon, allowing us to complete our mission! Thanks! I'll save you a corner slice of victory cake when we get back on the Gungnir!!!"

The Digi-Marines and their support rolled off towards Fort Freezeframe, leaving Jack to face the Demon Lord of Sloth.

OOC: I think we can, but please don't be TOO harsh on Lt. Andrews. He's only trying to do his job, and Jack's making it hard for him to do that.

IC: Kumbhiramon and Antylamon stayed behind to help Jack, knowing that their existence probably depended on it.

Meteormon flew in front of the Atomic Blaster "Guard Rock!" He said, the Atomic Blaster seeming to bend to his will and hit only him, not overshooting slightly to hit Sorcermon "You two...are on the same...side" he said "You're both R---" he collapsed out of the sky before he got out another letter and landed face first in the snow, fractal code surrounding his body

A hand of black DigiSoul squeezed Daniel/Justin's shoulder "Our primary and ONLY objective is to beat every single one of the Demon Lords into the ground until they revert to a DigiEgg. Now, send the rest of your men, present company excluded, to get the fort and we'll fight this damn sloth together, or you can send the rest of your men, again present company excluded, to get the fort, while Tiamet, Kayla, and Beta fight the sloth, while Ashu and I beat you and Justin into the ground." He squeezed harder "Choose. Now." He nodded at Antylamon and Kumbhiramon "You two, get ready to provide support for Temblor" he said nodding down at the Groundramon that was taking a decent pummeling at the guns of the Demon Lord "I don't know why, but Ashu, Temblor, Grey, Garu, Sorcerermon, and a few others, were on a short list of names that Huanglongmon deemed vital to the Digital World's survival" He sighed "Antylamon, you're more of a fighter compared to Kumbhiramon correct?"

"Hah, what was that?" BlackWarGrowlmon mocked as Meteormon fell to the ground, "Not like it matters, Vincent!"

Hearing his partner's cry, Vincent stopped in his tracks and looked over at him to see Meteormon surrounded by fractal code, which brought a smile to Vincent's face.

"Oh I see I see, this is good, well done partner."

Bringing out his D-tector Digivice, Vincent pressed the button on the side and pointed the screen so that it reflected Meteormon. The fractal code surrounding the rock digimon then began to flow away from him and into Vincent's digivice.

"More power for us, thank you."

Finishing the download, Vincent put his digivice away and turned back to Ceila.

"Now, where were we?"

BlackWarGrowlmon meanwhile now focused his attention on Sorcermon.

"1 down, 1 to go, Radiation Blades!"

Raising his arms up, he infused his armblades with energy before swinging them down, sending two glowing energy blades right at Sorcermon.

Meteormon grabbed onto his fractal code "Alright, That's it. Sorcermon, back down." he said, gaining strength from the ice around him, and from his strong connection with Zehn, who could Digivolve him with a single thought, as if Meteormon was digivolving alone "I'm kicking your ass" He said pointing and glaring menacingly at Vincent, then moving both to BlackWarGrowlmon "But first, I gotta deal with this, so stay put you worthless Demon battery" his fractal code absorbed back into his body and he screamed in primal rage "Ancestor! Lend me your strength!" he shouted to the Spirit of Earth.

 

Elsewhere, Zehn nodded once "Execute, DigiSoul Overdrive" he whispered, closing his eyes in thought "Stay strong, Gotsumon..." He was still walking next to Marina and hoped she hadn't noticed him talking to himself

 

Still elsewhere, Grumblemon and Gigasmon's Spirits glowed brightly for a mere moment

 

"Meteormon shinka!" The space Digimon said, growing from human sized to eye level with BlackWarGrowlmon. His hands bulked up and black Digi-leather bands wrapped around his forearms. His feet also bulked up and his body became spherical, with a cone shaped protrusion came from the back. His head shifted to the front of his body, now spherical with a black mask and two golden horns protruding from above his eyes "AncientVolcamon!"

 

((Every series had a hero vs. hero fight, I figure my RP could use one too, that and the Digi-Marine concept kinda bugs me))

Zach was blushing as Seri was playing with his hair. He laughed a little. He was still worried about his brother though. But he was...distracted at the moment. "So Seri...why do you like my power. That and Milleniumon's.

 

Milleniumon flew around the helpless Ashu. His arms were crossed. "Im not gonna destroy you...i just wanna talk." He said as he smiled.

[Proto]

Belphemon then stared at the human and Digimon heading towards the base in shock and flew in front of them quickly. "No no no, I'm afraid you can't enter here yet, as you can see its a bit out of order, come by next time!" It then let out a black blast of energy and shot it up into the air as a warning signal as the Digimon was begining to become overwhellmed with its opponents. Then it hastily said with a more serious tone "And do you want this kid to teach you highly trained Marines what to do! I mean doesn't he get all the credit eh? All you get to report to Huanglongmon is that you just went into the base while the kid did everything for you. After all the hard work you put here hes gonna get the gold medal."

Ryozo noticed the huge flash of light and started to run towards it " thats where rose ad the others where i have to get to them". Royozo holds his digivice infront of him a Fractal Code appeared on his hand "Execute! Spirit Evolution Loewemon! i have to see whats going on" he runs through the forest looking at the trees that were knocked down" what happened here i have only been gone for a few minutes" he sees the sphere of light that was created from Manticoremon and Shinedramon "rose, coronamon where are you" he hears coronamon voice coming from the sphere "boss were are you i cant see a thing' Loewemon looks the the sphere "coronamon im coming, just hold on Shadow Meteor!" the attack was consumed by the sphere "well that didnt help i guess im going in" he jumps into the sphere

"Unfreeze me then" Ashu said through clenched teeth, glaring daggers at Millenniumon. Even his lance was frozen because he couldn't get it to so much as wobble in place

 

Jack saw the two disappear into another area of the Digital World and suddenly became slightly less certain about his plan to fight Justimon. He gritted his teeth and decided that if he didn't settle the chain of command issue right now, he might have the entire Digi-Marine force staring down at him the next time the issue popped up. It was now or never, and it was up to Daniel/Justin to decide their fate.

OOC: Currently hes talking with Wormmon and looking for his Spirit, there wasn't much to write so hes doing it off screen until the guy who I wanted to have Ice gets back to me.

 

Belphemon then looked at Jack and was glad, as much as the Demon wanted to rip him to shreds he was important for the bluffing mission. "Anyways, how do you feel about this, mister Lt. sir."

[Mr. Hyde]

Milleniumon laughed. He smacked his knee. Then he waved his arm through the air. It unfroze Ashu. Then he sat down with all four of his hands on the ground. "Sooo...you can start a conversation if you'd like. I'm not in the mood to fight right now." He yawned. It was weird that the Machinedramon aura yawned as well. "Zach and i have been training nonstop so i could attain this form...that and Ogudomon helped out."

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Huanglongmon has far greater power" Ashu said, wrapping his wings around himself and sitting out of Millenniummon's reach, casually aiming his lance at him in case he tried something "Right now, he's still growing but, when he's at his full length, after all his DigiCores regenerated, your pal Leviamon would be about a yard long in comparison" He sighed "Of course, it will be quite some time before that happens, what with him having to use his own life force to revive his descendants"

 

((He could find both Spirits at once and only take Light?))

 

Jack just glared at the sloth "Stay put" he said "Unless of course this guy chooses to fight, in which case, yeah, even then, just stay put, we'll deal with you in due time" He sighed, Temblor was still losing to Beelzemon, badly. He closed his fists and focused, trying to clear his emotions, despite the Lieutenant's transgression. If he used his rage on Temblor, there's no telling what he would become, except that it would probably be homicidal and would kill indiscriminately

 

(((By the way, I was going for a Chaosdramon description there, since that's Groundramon's only other Digivolution option besides Breakdramon)))

[Mr. Hyde]

Milleniumon laughed. "Im not gonna hurt you." He smirked though. "But what about me. I control time and space. I can create another dimension like the one here, teleport him into it, leave, then destroy it." He laughed. Now he was laying on his belly. "I'm a weird Milleniumon. You know that. I'm not beserk or anything. It's weird. I hear Kimeramon's act on basic instinct and rage...but i don't when i'm one"

Vincent looked back at Meteormon in surprise as he forcibly took back his fractal code, and then actually digivolved.

"Incredible, I've never seen a Digimon reabsorb their fractal code while it was being absorbed, much less digivolve immediatly after...be careful BlackWarGrowlmon..."

In response to his Digivolved opponent, BlackWarGrowlmon engaged the thrusters on his back after firing his radiation blades at Sorcermon, and switched direction to charge at AncientVolcanomon.

"Rah! Would you just stay down already! Double Blades!"

With a fierce roar, BlackWarGrowlmon extended his arms as his blades began to elongate with dark energy which he intended to stab into the Ancient Warrior of Earth now before him.

IC: Daniel was finally fed up with all of Jack's crap.

He dismounted Tiamat and started walking towards Jack, his arm shifting into some sort of blade-like contraption.

"Fine then! You have a problem with me and my men, you say it to my face!"

"Trinity Arm, Shift! Critical Arm!"

OOC: You wanted a fight? You're gonna get it.

Yasyamon jumped up and out of the way of the incoming blast "Double Strike!" He shouted firing shockwaves of energy at Minervamon. Sam was picked up by Garu and was moving faster than he had even thought possible for a living being. But soon he was back on the ground and watching the fight from further away. "Thank You for helping him, he doesnt know the severity of the situation." Yasyamon hit the ground with his hand guards defending.

 

Beelzemon placed his shotguns back in their holsters. Charging his energy he attacked "Darkness Claw!".

"Beelzemon heres a boost for you. " Sam shouted he pointed his digivice at Beelzemon and his arm was saturated with dark energy. "Charge!" Th energy shot from him into Beelzemons back. His Darkness Claw grew in size and power. "Hey you Groundramon. Where is you human Jack?"

[Hydra of Ages]

Ceila moved quickly to avoid Vincent's fist, but her eyes grew wide as she saw Meteormon destroyed before her eyes. Her eyes burned and for a second it looked like she was going to cry, but she instead decided on aiming a trio of kicks at the human while he was absorbing the data, twice with her left leg to each side of his head before jumping in the air, spinning and slamming her right leg into his chest. Her eyes burned with resolve, even as Meteormon reappeared before her, evolving into a much greater being. Sorcermon felt the power and levitated a little more than usual, brandishing his staff.

"You." she said to the human. "I said I fight those who fight others. You took that to mean I fight everyone. That is incorrect." she paused, her body burning with more digisoul than ever before, the data conglomerate bursting from every part of her body.

"I fight so that others will not be killed. I believe that in every evil, there is the opportunity for good to be drawn out. However, I also believe that to draw out that good, we cannot allow Evil to destroy others. They must be made ineffectual before we can start trying to rebuild them."

 

She paused again. "You almost killed him. I had been trying to finish this without having to resort to this, but you leave me no choice."

 

She took out her digivice. "Digisoul...FULL...CHARGE!" she yelled, raising it up as the massive aura of power rose up and consumed the divice within itself. The screen glowed brightly as it charged with massive amounts of energy, and Sorcermon's eyes glowed.

 

The foxlike mage smiled a little. "I think I finally know why Huanglongmon wanted me to be partnered to you..." he muttered, before his entire form was consumed in light.

 

He grew taller, though he was surprised to find he still kept his tail. His white robes were ripped from his body, replaced by garments of bright red and purple, robes fit for a king. He spun around as a massive mage's cloak, the color of dyed wine and with bright, white, decorative shoulder guards, appeared on his back. The symbol of Witchelny, the Digiworld's compiler for all Magical Languages, engraved itself on the back of that cloak, showing his intimate connection.

 

His face grew older and more human, the foxlike characteristics fading away. However, he kept vulpine-like canine fangs, and his blond hair grew longer, like a mane. His white hat glowed and lengthened, losing the brim but becoming much longer and jewel-encrusted. He growled slightly as his body filled with power.

 

Finally, he took out his Ice staff, and gave it three twirles; the weapon grew much longer, taller than himself, and he held it at an arm's length when suddenly both sides became bladed swords, and the top portion immediately lit on fire, burning with magical heat. The other side was barren, glassy ice, a blade of deepest cold to compliment one of hottest flame.

 

He roared as power consumed him, snow being blown away by the magical induced storm. "Mistymon!" he yelled. "The Ultimate Spellcaster!"

 

The warrior mage glared down at BlackWarGrowlmon, and with a smooth movement, severed his dual-sided sword in the center, giving him two separate blades. "Now we truly fight." he said simply.

Seri giggled a little, still playing with his hair. "It entices me, you see." she said with a smirk. "It's so unlike Lord Ogudomon's, so unlike a Demon Lord. It's not an ancient strength rising again. It's a new power rising for the first time. It's modern, not ancient." she said with a smile. "And you... well, you're really interesting too." she kissed the side of his head. "Unlike the carriers of Demon Lords, you don't have a Seal to boost your Digisoul... just your own effort and talents. And let me admit, they are quite potent." she said with a slight smirk. Beneath her clothing, her own Seal of Envy pulsed quietly.

A young man with short blond hair and massive, green eyes examined the cold landscape. "Looks rather... useless, doesn't it?" he said distastefully at the barren, cold lands. "I mean, it's a lot like our arctic, isn't it? But you don't need gas or oil or anything in this world right, so what's the point of your polar ice caps?" he said, shrugging. "It seems like a really weird place for a melee-a-tois."

Gururumon smirked, and flicked her eyes upward to look at the human sitting on her back. "It's not a Melee-a-tois, like I told you before. There's a lot more than three."

"No proper gentleman would become part of battle were it larger than three competitors. I shall find two people fighting and join in, as that is the only way to do it."

"But together, we're two. Wouldn't that make it a melee-a-quatre?"

The human paused, then tapped his expensive shoes against the white wolf's side to dislodge the snow from the bottoms.

"Obviously not. Digimon and their partner count as one."

"What if one human had more than one digimon?"

"They'd still simply count as one person."

Gururumon chuckled a little under he breath. "Really now? Then I suppose we should get going?"

The human shrugged. "I suppose."
