((Taking control of Kumbhiramon and Antylamon))

 

Back at the FOB, Kumbhiramon and Antylamon approached Alice and Garrett.

"Hey...umm....we realize that your previous partners umm...."

"What my colleague is trying to say is...."

They both kneeled, or at least tried to.

"CAN WE BE YOUR PARTNERS?!?" they declared.

Alice and Garrett looked at each other, then laughed.

"Of course!"

"Why not?"

Then, both of their digivices started to glow as Antylamon and Kumbhiramon transformed into Lopmon and Patamon, while the two Digi-Marines' digivices now registered Lopmon and Patamon as their partners.

Mistymon swore loudly and almost dropped his weapons. "Traitor." he barked. "Disloyal swine." he added, growling, his animal beginnings obvious.

"Were you so weak to fall under that corrupted demon's influence? To think I once respected you as an equal! To think I thought we served the same goals! Bah!" He sneered.

"And look at you now! Would the Gallantmon I recall be here, he wouldn't spit in your general direction! Whereas I recovered from my death with no particular change other than a short period of low power, you reformat yourself into something infinitely different and in-consequently inferior. He snarled. "Gallantmon- the so-called Knight of Courage. How much of a folly must Huanglongmon have done to call you by such a title, the only one among our order to fall to cowardice! While we all died the deaths of warriors, protecting the Digital World the best we could, you allowed yourself to fall into the hands of your enemy! Such a weak, useless being that stands for all that the Royal Knights stood again!"

 

He growled, and poked his flame sword into the ground, creating a barrier of fire that spread long down, encircling both the mage-warrior and ChaosGallantmon. He followed suit with his ice sword, creating a second barrier that merged with the first, creating an impenetrable veil of steam.

"AncientVolcamon." he muttered. "Stay out of this. This is personal. I, formerly LordKnightmon, the Royal Knight of Justice, shall extract judgment on my fallen comrade."

 

Ceila glanced over at Mistymon, and withdrew a little when his barrier repelled even her. She paused, and shook her head. "Vincent. Do you know what purpose LordKnightmon served within the Royal Knights?"

 

She paused for a couple seconds, not expecting an answer.

 

"LordKnightmon's duty was to follow a set of laws and jurisdictions set by none other than himself. While the other Knight' purpose was to uphold law and order through the edicts of their immediate superiors, LordKnightmon's single command was to administer punishment to those felt broke his explicit code of justice."

 

She shook her head. "It sounds like too much power to be wielded by a single being, but LordKnightmon needed that power in order to serve his duty. LordKnightmon is justice. While the others perceptions of justice can change with their masters, and eventually become corrupted into irredeemable tyrants, LordKnightmon's duty would be to bring them once more into line, or to execute them if there was no other way."

 

She shook her head. "People have tried to corrupt him for that one reason, but it has always failed. LordKnightmon was constructed in a very specific way. His stances on justice and wright and wrong are unarguable. He has no sympathy, he has no compassion, for those that he feels break his perception of justice. His mind does not allow there to be exceptions or justifications."

 

She paused. "I don't share his outlook, but I do acknowledged his very specific duty. Even though he isn't really a Royal Knight anymore, he's never forgotten his roots."

"Hm." Seri paused, and giggled. "Good point. We've nearly completely won here- oh!" she said, noticing all the ships. "Hey, those guys aren't on our side, are they?" she said, pointing at the Digimarine battleships fighting in the air, and the ground troops. She giggled. "I know they're a little weak, but we can have fun playing with then, can't we?" she said with a cock of her head and a wink.

 

Crabmon cackled a little bit in his own crabby-type way, and almost seemed to yawn despite lacking a noticeable jaw. Seri blinked at Zach. "Oh, my seal? What about it?" she glanced back to Crabmon, where the seal glowed on the back of his shell.

Zach shrugged. "I mean, why does it activate and stuff." Milleniumon yawned.

"Do we have to go down and fight them. I'm kinda tired."

"Only if Seri says buddy. I'll do anything she says." He winked at her.

[Hydra of Ages]

"Hm? Oh." Seri giggled a little. "Well, the seal on Crabmon's back and Coelamon's chest is always active while he's awake. When he's sleeping, it usually disappears unless he's having a dream or nightmare or something. It usually kind of pulses, like a heartbeat, and gets brighter and pulses faster if I or he feels particularly Envious of anything, or if we're feeling a really strong emotion in general, really. The brighter it glows and faster it pulses, the stronger Coelamon's power is and the more energetic I feel."

She giggled. "You don't HAVE to go fight them, but I would be pretty impressed..." she twirled a finger around a lock of her blond hair.

IC (Alice and Garrett): The two Digi-Marines then snuck onto a hovercraft and headed towards the place where Milleniummon was fighting the Digi-Marines' allies.

"Lopmon, digivolve to...Wendigomon!"

"Patamon, digivolve to...Ninjamon!"

They ditched the hovecraft and started sneaking closer to the fight...

Vincent looked over as Mistymon put up a barrier around him and ChaosGallantmon. Sighing, he adjusted his glasses before turning back to Ceila.

"So his purpose is to be the ultimate Justice? Well, that's fine, but does he have the power to achieve it in his current state? Justice, laws, they're excellent ideals, but without power they are pointless. If the people are willing to follow the law, then you don't need much power, but for strict self-morals like his, you need incredible power. Do you honestly think he can keep up his ideals in his current state?"

ChaosGallantmon glanced around the inside of the barrier as Mistymon trapped them inside it.

"...Do I know you?...It doesn't matter. But for claiming I am weak...I will destroy you. And when I reduce you to a digiegg, I will take it and crush it. I will ensure that you are never reborn. For believing yourself above me, I will erase you from existance."

ChaosGallantmon then raised his dark lance, Balmung so that it was pointed at Mistymon as dark energy began to spark around the tip. Taking a step back to ready himself for the recoil, ChaosGallantmon stretched his right arm and lance back as it began to glow with dark energy which even still crackled with energy around it.

"Chaos Crusher!"

Thrusting his lance forward, ChaosGallantmon sent a bolt of dark energy hurtling at Mistymon.

Ceila turned her eyes to the nearly impenetrable wall of steam. She blinked at it. "Well. We shall see." she said quietly.

 

Mistymon closed his eyes as he ball of energy approached him. A blast of power from a former Royal Knight, and one powered by the energy of darkness no less. He was still just a perfect.

 

His eyes opened, blazing with anger. A perfect imbued with Righteous Fury, however.

 

"Core Dart." he said simply, as he reattached the hilts of his two blades, the assembled glaive spun around expertly and expelling a single, tiny burst of compressed light. The single ray cleaved through the blast of chaos energy, detonating it early and continuing on its straight path, cleaving through the armor on his left shoulder and making a small nick in his armor as it passed by.

ChaosGallantmon glared at Mistymon as he countered his attack, and left a nick in his armor.

"...I do not tolerate damage to my armor."

Dark energy began to surround ChaosGallantmon's body, fitting around his form and giving his entire form a glowering aura of death. The darkness now surrounding his body seemed to be alive, and as it finished forming around his body ChaosGallantmon's eyes began to glow with a lighter energy, which the dark energy began to mimic, glowing a light purple, like it was being energized for something.

"You have called me weak, you have damaged my armor...I will leave nothing. Waking...Dead!"

The energy around ChaosGallantmon's body suddenly expanded, turning into a massive explosion of dark energy in every direction, filling every spot of Mistymon's barrier with destructive dark energy.

((Milleniumon isn't fighting anyone...yet.))

 

Zach yawned. "Well. I think we should impress the girl don't you think Milleniumo..." Milleniumon had reformed back into Gizamon and was taking a nap. Crabmon was still nestled in the top of Gizamon's fur. "Well...that didn't work out as i planned." He looked at Seri. "Well i can't impress you at the moment. He's plum tuckered out." He said with a smile.

[Proto]

Belphemon gave a small smile in its frozen prison as the sloth symbol in the air melted his surroundings, freeing the Demon Lord. "As much as I'd love to stay and chat, I'd rather be leaving now." The Demon Lord said with a chuckle as its extended its wings and dissappeared in a shadowy burst of energy. Leaving behind only the symbol of Sloth imprint on the ground. Unfortunatly due to its weakened state it was only able to reappear nearby the Justimon panting for breath and fell to the ground.

Lilithmon, now back at her chateau and all cleaned up, was reviewing over some of the dossiers that the Imperial Intelligence Initiative, or "I3", had gathered on the Digi-Marines.

She had picked out 3 in particular, L-Crpl. Evans, Medic Fields, and Sgt. Bines, and was reviewing over them.

She finally discarded Alice and Celeste's profiles, and picked up Kayla's.

She then went over to a red phone and dialed it.

"Ah, yes. Barbamon, my sweet! I have an idea that might help you with your little 'Digi-Marine' dilemma!" she purred.

[The Warden]

Duke felt like he had blacked out, in fact, he had. He found himself at the bottom of some dark black trench, obviously sunk there in his metal state. 'I must many leagues under the sea. This is terrible, how will i get out? I probably can't swim with my heavy body, the pressure is starting to become a bit much and I will drown as human' he thought.

Mistymon blinked, his eyes bulging. He quickly spun his glaive in his right hand, lifting his left. "Snowflake, Defend!" he yelled, creating the wintery shield before him. "Sunlight, Barrier!" he added, creating a solid wall of golden energy that glittered.

"Steam Barrier Omega DAS Override! 44895 Dash Code modifier Zero! Reject!" he declared, as the two barriers disappeared and instead cloaked him in a large, increasingly big funnel cloud of pure steam, acting as a tornado. The blast energy was drawn towards the funnel cloud, the individual pieces of data drawn out to string-like proportions as they approached the column of steam. The energy entered, spinning around and upward, until it eventually released harmlessly upward. After a few minutes, the energy towards Mistymon had disappeared, and the mage dispelled the tornado with a wave of his hand, though he panted as if he just pulled off a herculean effort. 'Not...bad..." he admitted, wiping the sweat from his brow.

 

He smirked. "But now... it's my turn."

He separated his swords again, but slammed the ice blade into the ground. He gestured his left had through the air a couple times before a symbol appeared before him. "Debug." he said simply, slamming his fire sword through the symbol. There was a heartbeat, and to any observer, Mistymon's eyes had turned completely green.

Seri giggled a little. "I guess that's understandable." she said, twirling a lock of hair. "And you, Minervamon?"

[ZhaneX]

ChaosGallantmon flexed his limbs a little as his body recovered from his ultimate attack. It might have been a bit early to pull it out, but he figured that even if Mistymon could defend against it, he wouldn't be able to put up as much of a fight afterwards. Focusing his gaze on the Warrior Wizard performed some sort of Ritual, turning his eyes green.

"...is that it? I've never heard of this 'Debug', but I won't give you a chance to show me."

ChaosGallantmon hefted his shield so that it covered the majority of his front. The Gorgon Shield appeared similar to any normal Gallantmon's Aegis Shield, except it was totally silver, lacking the golden edge of an Aegis Shield, as well as the symbol of the Digital Hazard in the center. The silver triangles that surrounded the center of the shield began to glow a dark, shadowy purple. One-by-one they lit up, until they were all glowing. The center of the shield then began to glow as well, and soon the entire thing was a mass of dark purple energy.

"You called me a traitor earlier, correct? I don't know if that's true, but if it is then this next attack is sort of coincidentally named. Feel the wrath of he who betrayed his master - Judecca Prison!"

ChaosGallantmon immediatly thrusted his shield forward unleashing all of the dark energy that had been building up on it in a powerful energy beam directed totally at Mistymon.

[Mr. Hyde]

Zach let out a sigh that turned into a smirk. "What about her, she's fighting. And soon, once the Digimarines get here we're going to have to call a retreat. Two of our most powerful digimon have lost most of their power." He pointed at Gizamon and Crabmon.

Lance saw a fight happening. He pointed his finger at what looked like a Gallantmon. But it was purple. "He must be corrupted. Let's Get'em Aero." Aero nodded his head.

"Right! The Veedramon opened his mouth and let a giant V-shaped arrow escape. "V-Nova Blast!" He said with a roar.

[Hydra of Ages]

Mistymon smiled, seeming a little eerie with his glowing green eyes. "Fade." he said simply, as the dark energy crashed into him with a bright glow. Moments later the attack faded, revealing Mistymon perfectly intact and crossing his arms, even if a little transparent. He snapped his finger, grunting briefly as he felt gravity again. He gave a larger smirk.

"Debug is a somewhat different technique, you see. There are two different structures in the Digital World, you see- Icedymon and Soldymon, the centers of the Ice Language and Sun Languages, the magic most used here in the digital world. However, both those structures are small beans compared to Witchelny; an entire dimension dedicated to Magic." he smirked.

"While in Debug mode, I attune myself closer to Witchelny and farther from the Digital World. As such, my powers of magic are greater, as is my ability to ignore or redirect your attacks. I give up being able to actually hit you physically with my blades, but I honestly doubt that would do much to your reinforced armor."

"Hm?" Seri glanced over. "Oh no, Crabmon can still fight. He just doesn't see the point in fighting people that aren't directly threatening me. He's never even gone Perfect yet, even though he has the ability, you know."

[ZhaneX]

ChaosGallantmon suddenly held up his shield as a Champion level blast shattered through Mistymon's shield somehow. The shield blocked the attack easily, but it gave the dark knight an idea.

"So you can become intangible and negate my attacks against you huh? Well, that's fine for you, but-"

ChaosGallantmon pointed his Balmung Lance so that it was pointing outside the hole, directly at Aero the Veedramon.

"-What about him? Chaos Crusher!"

ChaosGallantmon's lance crackled with dark energy before it fired off as a bolt of dark lightning directed at the Veedramon that had tried to attack him.

[Mr. Hyde]

Zach nodded. "Indeed. He's gonna pack a big punch. Especially when he gets to mega. We will take over this world." Zach pointed at both Crabmon and Gizamon. "They will be the strongest team this world has ever seen. Not to mention you and I." He winked at Ser.

Aero freaked out. "This aint good. This aint good." He repeated over and over again. Lance shrugged.

"I guess that wasn't my best move. Even though i didn't know who that was, i knew it was at least a Mega Level digimon." Aero's eyes widened.

"You sent me into a suicide mission!"

"I thought you could take him. I don't know the order of Digivolutions."

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

"Ninjamon, Digivolve to...Kumbhiramon!"

"Wendigomon, Digivolve to...Antylamon!"

 

Alice, Garrett, Kumbhiramon, and the Virus version of Antylamon leapt out from behind a piece of wreckage near Seri and Zach.

The two Digi-Marines grabbed them and started to whisk the two Tamers away while the two Ultimates snatched up their partners, imprisoning Crabmon and Gizamon within Kumbhiramon's Deva Clone, while Antylamon ran behind the multiple Kumbhiramon, providing an extra level of protection.

[Mr. Hyde]

Zach rolled his eyes. "I know this aint happening." He released himself from the digimarine's grip. "I think i know what to do." He raised his digivice in the air. It glowed and Gizamon was digivolved once again into Milleniumon. He was still asleep. But he woked up and noticed he was in a barrier surrounded by rat looking things. He swiped his claw in the air revealing another universe. He flew in, closed it, opened another right next to Zach and jumped through that one. Sealing it on his way out.

"Now what's up with that." Milleniumon said with a shout.

[Hydra of Ages]

Seri scowled. "Well, that isn't very nice of you." she smashed her head back against the digimarines, her Envy Seal glowing once more as it granted her a pale blue glowing Dark Digisoul, allowing her to quickly spinkick in place, landing a powerful blow to the side of the Digimarine trying to grab her's jaw, instantly relinquishing her grip. She moved a bang away from her face as her Digisoul dissipated. She smiled wickedly at the two humans.

 

"Wow. Now, how many mistakes was that you made, I just wonder?"

She said with a smirk.

 

"Crabmon... Rostrum."

 

The word seemed to awaken Crabmon, whose eyes instantly glowed as he was consumed in light blue digisoul, his symbol of Envy glowing brightly. The Deva Clone he was contained by shuddered, then twitched as it oscillated inward into a single point. A blast of data shattered the surrounding rock of the mountain as Coelamon emerged, giving a roar that belied his size.

Mistymon glanced up at the AeroVeedramon briefly and shrugged. "Not my business." he said simply before lashing out his fire sword, creating a massive tempest of flame and brimstone, nearly filling his own barrier as it spiraled towards the disgraced knight, briefly forming the shape of a great dragon. "Nexus Flame Tempest Epsilon!" he called.

Yasyamon jumped at Sammy grabbed him and jumped away. "Hey Yasyamon, why are we leaving?" Yasyamon didn't speak until they were far enough away from the battle. He placed Sammy on the floor and used his psychic powers to see the fight as it was happening now. The images moved to fast and he couldn't understand what was going on. Sammy asked his question again "Yasyamon, why did we leave?" Yasyamon turned to Smmy and walked up to him.

"Do you want to die? If I hadn't of taken you away that is what would have happened!" Yasyamon fell against the wall and slid down to the floor. "From what I have heard today the digital world is dead even if Huanglongmon wins. Because the Royal Knights are being pertnered to humans they can be corrupted. We have seen that first hand today. The olympus twelve are dead and the surviving members are on the side of Ogudomon. The Demon Lords have most of their members in their true forms and those digi-marines are next to useless in a fight against true power." Yasyamon focused his psychic powers and found a digimon, "Puppet Master!" Using his attack he brought a Drimogemon to the surface, "Make us a tunnel from here to somehwere warm." he told the mole who left abruptly. "We now have passage to a warmer climate, so we won't freeze to death."

 

Sam charged his dark digi-soul and shot more power into Beelzemon. Beelzemon glowed with purple energy and his muscles grew larger, his shotguns longer and his voice deeper and had much more of a growl to it. "HAHAHAHAHA! This must be whta it fels like to bio-merge with your partner. So much more power. You won't survive long." Sam stopped firing, he was starting to lose his breath and his limbs felt weaker. He had been using to much digi-soul and had started to use his own energy.

"Hey Beelzemon, Im going to find this Jack guy. Don't you lose or I might have to kill you myself." He joked and Beelzemon knew it. All he did was smile back at Sam. "HEARTBREAK SHOTS!!!!!" He fired a number of the powerful rounds at his target as Sam ran round to find his.

[Mr. Hyde]

Zach smirked. "Pathetic. Why would two Novice Digimarines even try that. It was a pretty stupid move." He gave Seri a thumbs up. "Nice job. You're stronger than you look...not that you don't looke strong or anything..it's just that...ah..." Zach started to blush. Milleniumon smirked also.

"Haha. This is gonna be fun." He cracked all the knuckles on each of his hands.

[ZhaneX]

As the flaming dragon beared down on him, ChaosGallantmon raised his shield against it.

"Chaos Shot!"

The shield briefly glowed with dark energy which suddenly shot out at the dragon as a glowing ball of energy that exploded as it made contact with the dragon, stopping it. ChaosGallantmon immediatly emerged from the smoke, rushing at Mistymon with incredible speed, aiming to at least land a hit before the wizard faded between worlds again.

"Chaos Disaster!"

As he neared Mistymon, ChaosGallantmon's lance became a flurry of movement, making it seem more like there were 10 lances about to stab the wizard digimon.

Mistymon's expert eyes spied through the smoke at the approaching Knight, and rather than phasing outside of existence, immediately whipped up his ice blade, parrying the initial blow. He gave his flare sword a slight twitch before he released a flurry of techniques, temporarily becoming a blur of speed and blades as the Knight portion of his data took over, redirecting his lightning-quick mind's processing power to his sword techniques as his double-sword style quickly fended off the blast of techniques towards him. At some point in the midst of the battle, Mistymon allowed the green to fade from his eyes as he exited Debug mode.
