Sorry to interrupt your ongoing conversation, but I've hit a bit of writer's block. I'm on my stupid parody-fic, yeah, and I can't figure out how to write my 51st chapter. For people still in the loop after all this time, Cocoa Titan, the weirdo who got beaten up by Alexis weeks ago, awakens on the beach at Duel Academy Island. Lucky for him, he's not possessed anymore! But... this is all I have so far:

Part One

 

“Uh… uuuuuugh…” Cocoa Titan woke up on the beach, covered in small cuts and bruises. He couldn’t move without his chest feeling as if it would explode. “Where am I…?” He slowly stood up and stretched his arms. He looked out over his surroundings and found that he was near Duel Academy, the place that had gotten him into this entire beach awakening mess. Oh yeah, and the possession, too. “Damn, I nearly forgot!! I was possessed for the last six months of my life! Did I even eat anything?”

 

That's all I have. The remainder of the episode was supposed to have Cocoa running into Dr. Card, the supervillain who had been previously using him for his own nefarious devices, and he'd try to hire him back into the Seven Stars. They'd talk about the great benefits of the job, they'd get into a duel somehow, he'd get angry at Dr. Card for making fun of his Stick Figure cards because he was too poor to buy Archfiends, and then they'd get into a large-scale, forest-leveling brawl complete with handcuffs, tree nunchucks and boat drops. Then Cocoa would get punched off the island, allowing him to get back into the big city and try to figure out what he should be doing with his life, because he's (somehow through all this) decided he's not all that excited about evil anymore.

 

But I can't seem to figure out how to tie all this together. Can I have some assistance, please? Questions about my stupid-ass plot threads will be answered and/or otherwise clarified.

Like I said, I can't get the ideas to link together like usual. I'm mostly having trouble starting everything up, and without the beginning, I can't write the middle and ending I've thought up of. I just wish I could write it without it feeling so awkward as the other times...

That's not really enough for us to tell if its a good idea. That's just a rather basic concept and a couple of random elements that we don't know how you'll use.

 

It sounds cliche, but that's about all I can say about it, since that's just about all there is.

This doesn't spoil the plot right now: in fact, it's the opposite. It's so vague that it dissuades us from being interested.

 

However, I'll actually state something constructive. Location. Locationlocationlocation. If you can make an original setting, usually the plot will fall into place afterwards.

I think my discorevy of this thread calls for a post/question/possible rant.

 

Okay, if anyone really cares, or just wants to discuss, I thought of writing a fan-fic for Yu-Gi-Oh. I don't want it to be one of those 'I wrote it for myself' kinda deals. I mean, I want people to read it and like it, you know?

 

But the problem is, I have next to no ideas. I have the Deck for the protagonist, and maybe a possible rival/enemy.

 

I really liked 5D's, like, Yu-Gi-Oh in the future, right? And the whole 'Psychic Duelist' idea they barely touched in 5D's spoke to me, man. But from there, it's all a blank.

 

Someone wanna poke/prod/push/violently shove me in the right direction?

Multiple directions would be nice.

Yeah... It's odd for me to venture into this section, but I figured I would get some feed back on idea I've had for a while, but never took the time to expand upon.

 

If you like the Legend of Zelda series, you should know about Majora's Mask. It's easily the most mysterious out of the series, and I want a crack at it. I plan on delving into the past of the great Kingdom of Igos du Ikana. My favorite area in the game has always been that, due to the mysteries that surround it. So, I have a prologue to show, it's mainly to get people up to speed on events and all that, if they haven't played the game.

Over time, many things come to an end. It’s destined to happen. However, some lands last much longer then others. One in particular was doomed to perish, and it was known as Termina. Near the end of it’s time span, a young lad clothed in green came, and he went through many trials. A poison swamp, a mountain plunged into eternal winter, a bay that was surrounded by murky waters, and a cursed land of the dead. Most should know the tale of what brought the land it’s redemption, but what started the affair? What brought the land its curse? Well, the past is there, and clues have been left. The curse of Termina, shall be ripped to pieces, and examined.

 

It started as the Goddesses were creating the realms. Hyrule had been created, and they were starting on the next realm. As they worked, they realized that they would be unable to watch after both Hyrule and the new realm. So, they created four Giants to guard each area in the realm. One was in the swamp, one went to the mountain range, another traveled to the bay, and the last traveled to the Kingdom of Ikana, although it was not known as that at the time. Then, the areas were tied together by Termina Field. Finally, people were bestowed upon the land, and they started to build the Clock Town. At first, they worshiped the Goddesses, and things went well, until the Giants revealed themselves. They began to live with the people, and then, when the time to celebrate the harvest came, the Giants told them that they would guard the world as they slept, each in their own area of the land. They also told the people that if they needed help, to just call for them and they would come. A promise they would be unable to keep. As they left, a young imp who befriended the Giants cried out to them, “WHY? Why must you go?” he asked. They continued upon their way, not to be seen for a while.

 

As the time went by, the imp grew angry. He felt betrayed, and he proceeded to take his anger out upon the people of the world. After many of his misdeeds, they sang a song of prayer to each of the four Giants. With a roar, they came to the Clock Town, and told the imp this. “Oh imp. Oh imp. We are the protectors of these people, and though our friend you may have once been, you have tortured them! Leave this world, or we will tear you to shreds!” And so, the imp left the land, and realized that he had lost his old friends. The people lived in peace, and worshiped the Giants as gods. They cast aside the Goddesses, and at this point the land became known as Termina. The land destined to die. And so the people lived happily ever after... Or so they thought.

 

Not long after this, a great rift in the sky was seen in the desert land known as Ikana. Their King, being the egotistical person he is, is now planning to reach the rift, and take out the Goddesses in one feel swoop. To do so, he has had his troops constantly building a tower to reach the said rift. He is slowly near the completion of the tower, and time is slowly reaching the end for Ikana...

 

 

So yeah...

 

How terrible was it? First attempt at writing.

Okay, I've been working on an Idea for a Silent hill story. It's main character is Jack Liam, he was cursed by the order at a young age in Wish House with Walter Sullivan from silent Hill 4, now he goes to Silent Hill in search of his father, Jack is adopted, who went missing doing research on the town. Now When Jack dies, the Order's "God" is released due to a marking on his shoulder. I need a good, Silent Hill plot twist for this. I can't think of anything that hasn't been done. I was thinking at first maybe that he killed his father, but I can't think of a reason why, and that he came to Silent Hill to kill himself.

I've never learned the plot of the games, but judging by the fact that it's GX... I would go for something more original. If you want it to get popular, you need to throw out EVERYBODY. Make up your own characters, scenario, and if you're really ambitious, go for the original timeline. Nobody really does that much these days... but a GX story with the tag mechanics in every duel? You could do it. Oh wait, you're trying to pair yourself up with Chazz? ... Yeah, people shouldn't use author avatars unless they're hard to determine. You can insert yourself if you want to, but restrict it to a side-character or something (DO NOT make yourself the main character, it's pretty lame and a sign of a n00b fan fic author, trust me), and DEFINITELY change the name to something different. Try Paul. Just not anything that seems to be your real name. It sends a message to readers like "OH my gosh they put themselves in this will SUCK", and will probably deter them from looking at the actual meat of the story.

 

So back to the original request, if you're going to make a story based upon Tag Force, just use the Tag Force plotline. Simple, right?

Right now, I'm working on a Shinzo fanfic. I've already written two chapters on it, and I'm currently working on a third. Not sure how far I'll go with it though. It's been ages since Shinzo was even on TV, so I don't remember all the canon, but I think I know enough to complete this thing. Could definitely use some characters though.

 

I won't delve into to much of it atm, since I'm not even sure if anyone will be interested, but it takes place about 10,000 years after Lanancuras was killed. In the anime, the Cadrians were the bad guys iirc, but in this fanfic, I'm trying to make them the good guys. I'm also introducing a new race of beings that'll be known as the Xorquasans. They're on a quest to resurrect Lanancuras, so then they can complete their original mission to wipe out all of human life.

 

If anyone's interested, I can PM what I have so far.

I have a few ideas, most are fan fics, not originals, but bear with me.

One is an Inuyasha type story. But instead of Inuyasha I have a girl called Shikoya, half-demon wolf. She has to do some major battles against bad guys to somehow prove that she isn't a monster like everyone thinks.

Another is Inasuma Eleven (my FAVORITE anime by MILES!) based one. There's a new girl at a school, and when she hears the soccer team is toast, she joins. She's a mother f***ing epic female goalkeeper, but she often runs into attack like Mark Evans did. She isn't that strong, but she's very strong willed. Then, at the end of the Soccer Frontier she must verse her worst nightmare, a school she used to go to. I already have thought of some details. Here they are:

1, The goalkeeper's worst nightmare is her old school, Star-Shooter Middle School.

2, Star-Shooter Middle School haven't lost a game EVER.

3, They specialise in star type moves, just like Zeus Jr specialised in godish moves. (God mod, in MO)

4, The have a last resort move known as Star Barrage. This mov is mysterious, and has NEVER been blocked.

5, Foshizzle, it's gonna be a close game, ill tell you that. But I'm gonna put a game-threatening collision in their.....hehe.

Tell me if I should go ahead with either of those.

Thinking of an original work right now. I don't wanna give much away, but it's about three different groups of people and a multi-chapter adventure. A friend who I told the idea to said it sounded like Naruto though. <_<

 

My biggest issue is that these groups of people, I can't see the trees for the forest. I know there's "Group A" and "Group B" and I know what, roughly, their ideas as a whole are but I need to make them their own people. I'd like names for right now, as I feel that'd be a good place to start. So, anyone? Toss me names, in mass. Male names, female names, just first names (without last names), Fantastical Names, normal and down to earth names, I don't care.

 

I wouldn't really want people to just post one word ("Jack!") and then run away, and I'm not so sure if this goes against the "No asking for characters in the form of a sign up either" rule, so feel free to PM me a list of random names you like? <_<

 

Never mind, I think I kind of got this after a bit of thinking. Look forward to it in a week or so. Or never, in case I loose all inspiration to do this. =D
