Most decks that are called bad are done so in comparision to other decks, so you need to remember in a good format those other decks won't be as good, and so those "bad decks" won't be as bad.

I don't see why really. What about the Deck dedication required to make use of this? Is it enough to balance it? Those would be the types of questions you would have to ask.

Why can't a deck use strategy while using cards that make all the monsters into beatsticks? Not only that, but isn't swarm's basic stratergy to quickly bring out an army of beatstick So wouldn't having a card that makes all your monsters into a bigger beatstick help that strategy? Also in a deck that has a hard time keeping monsters from getting run over would love something like this.

OT: Can be a good card if used in a deck that uses 1 Type of monsters, like my Tempest Burn, but it looses it's effectiveness once you Synchro for Brionac, Stardust, etc.

It means the original type that's on the monster itself.

Again the deifination of "crap deck" and "good decks" would be different on a good list. Plus even at 1 it would still be rewarding some decks and punishing others.

Fun to abuse with token and trap monsters since tokens don't go the the grave when destroyed and trap monsters turn to traps when hit the grave.

Because effects could change a monster's type while it is in the Graveyard (such as Zombie World). Even with all your monsters are being treated as Zombie monsters in the Graveyard by Zombie World, Solidarity will not work if the printed type of any monster in your Graveyard isn't actually Zombie.

Deck dedication is already a good balancer.

 

You're limited in your options if you run it, and you may as well not if you don't adhere to it.

IMO, its fine as-is.

As the whole "Your deck must be type [X] in order to run this" gimmick is what makes it balanced(?)

Though swarm decks, which almost always use the same type, make this card a little ridiculous.

So true. Machina is good and the card can be used any number of ways good and bad, just depends on strategy/how it's used. And pretty much everyone here is arrogant and don't know how to have fun. <_<

Solidarity, I'm a bit iffy on. A part of me thinks it could be banned, giving too much of a boost to too many decktypes. In my mind, it's not public enemy number 1, but it's definitely up there.

It's good support for Jurracs, Machina Gadgets, BW, Perfect Herald and a plethora of other Decks, but it stays @3.

Even though this card is pretty useless in my opinion, on my WC2010, the opponents always manage to piss me off with this card. >_>

Turns any lolType deck into beatdown and any great deck into beatdown. When I make up decklists, this is an alternative to Burden if the deck runs only 1 Type.

So the people here that find this a card in any way problematic presumably also find Mystic Plasma Zone a strong card? Don't say "itz difrent bcuz it only works on atributes not tipez" because most Attributes have larger cardpools than individual Types. Additionally, it doesn't suddenly become dead when you Synchro Summon - at the cost of raising ATK by 300 less.

 

I'm not saying this is bad any more than I'm saying Mystic Plasma Zone is good. It just IS.

 

Also, Machina Gadgets are boring. Not bad, just boring.
