Dr. Cakey
So, I was dueling this one guy using NaturiaSworn (this was on DMG), and I was using a troll Blackwing Deck running Ghibli, Gust, Kochi, and Aurora (Not Fane, though. Even I have standards). He dropped Bambooshoot on turn 3, and I had out Shura and Vayu. He attacked Vayu, I discarded Kalut. And he raeg-quit. I'm not the one who just summoned an improved Jinzo + Spell Canceler! Discuss Kalut, Honest, and other similar cards, and any problems with these cards your opponent can't see coming. Is an effect like that a bit broken?
Great Unclean One: VK
Blakie loves dropping this when he attacks with Shura against Yamata No Orochi..... This card is specified for a archtype, thus it's balanced.
Expelsword
This is slightly more balanced than Honest, who is ridiculous
Kyosuke Kiryu
@VK: SHUT THE f*** UP ABOUT BLAKIE. YOU MENTION HIM EVERYTIME YOU BLOODY POST. On topic: Big love for this card. <
The Sacred Ninja
I can ALWAYS guess when this is in their hand
Canadian
Basically Sakurestu Armor in your hands. Cards like these making you scarred of attacking and have created a new kind of bluff to the game. Kalut, IMO, is way more anoying than Honest (maybe cause it's at 3). Sure you know your opponent has it, but it still makes it so attacking means giving up one of your cards. The card itself is a less ridiculous version of honest. Sephiroth_The_Legend
Pro-Tip: On WC10, if your opponent summons either a LIGHT monster or a Blackwing regardless of what it is in Attack Position. You can guarantee they have Honest/Kalut. OT: It's easy to predict these.... thats why i play Brain Control.

OT: It's easy to predict these.... thats why i play Brain Control. Boths sentences say the truth! OT: You can drop this on direct attacks which Honest can't. Honest is at 2 and this at 3 but Honest can't be searched whereas this can! Anyway, this card is good. The fact it's searchable makes it good! Just Crouton
Blakie loves dropping this when he attacks with Shura against Yamata No Orochi..... This card is specified for a archtype, thus it's balanced. Who's Blakie? And this is an insane card.
Sleepy
Blakie loves dropping this when he attacks with Shura against Yamata No Orochi..... This card is specified for a archtype, thus it's balanced.I haven't seen Blakie around for months I think, did he get bored of the site or something? O_o And... I don't think the last sentence is necessarily true. I also think Kalut is as annoying as Honest.
Zauls
Advantages of Kalut over Honest:Kalut is searchable via BWW. Kalut can be used on direct attacks to go for game. Kalut can create a 3rd DARK in the Grave for DAD (I have seen this happen a lot before). Kalut is @3. Advantages of Honest over Kalut:Honest is not archtype specific. Honest guarantees to get rid of your opponent's monster, Kalut doesn't. Honest is more recyclable, with Beckoning Light etc. Kalut only has Dark Eruption, which nobody runs in BW. They are about equal IMO, but since BW are dying out next format ( :( :( :( ) then Honest will probably be more useable.
Dries965
A big problem is that BW can get this card very easaly to your hand, not to mention you can recycle it with dark eruption. Making Kalut a bigger problem then honest in my opinion.

Canadian
Good players play around Kalut.Agreed. There are alot of things you can do when you know they have it in their hands. Thing is, it still anoying to have to work around knowing any of your opponent's monsters can be 2500 ATK beaters at any time.
Dr. Cakey
A lot of people are saying BWs are gone next format, but as far as we can tell, the only change is Whirlwind to 1. Obviously that hurts their consistency, but it doesn't "kill" them.

Obviously that hurts their consistency, but it doesn't "kill" them.1 is far less consistent than 2, as with 2 being far less consistent than 3.Blackwings will probably take a hit this meta, but anyways, broken search cards probably deserve it (too bad unfairnities and broken sabers won't get the hit due to the list being based on Japan's meta).Kalut is great, very predictable (it should be obvious if they summoned Vayu in attack position) and theme specific therefore balanced in comparison to Honest. Because Honest is Honestly broken and deserved to be semi'd, even though Honest is less used now due to Lightsworns being Honestly killed by the Banlist. The ReBeL
Blackwings will be hit so expect to see lots of variants and possibly blizzard used at 3 alot.Send everything to the grave. I expect to see lots of Lightsworn Blackwing builds in September if whirlwind goes to 1. so vayu can get in the grave even quicker with ls and grepher then summon blizzards each turn and mass synchros lv 6's and 5's. and others. Coffee Black
This card is specified for a archtype, thus it's balanced. that's bad logic. anyways, kalut is annoying to say the least. destiny heroes have blade master, which i think most d hero players think is terrible. I blame it on the fact that most have low attack anyways (except for Dogma and Plasma).
