Ill try out that Gendo Ikari album because Evangelion is my favorite anime even if that album artwork is unappealing (I really hope that isnt a real dead body).

I regret posting Dirge before listening to Voices, easily one of the most unique and melodic Grindcore albums

Also still my favorite Grind album

Discordance Axis are a hell of a band, I have that Cellgraft album and its been just sitting there doing nothing on my iTunes library...maybeishouldjustfuckinglistentoit. Brutal Truth I have yet to be bothered with but I will sometime.

Remember back when this band didnt suck? Yeah those were good times.

Brutal Truth is more deathgrind but it's some of the best out there. Need to Control and Sounds of the Animal Kingdom are their two best imo.

Never really dug Architects, even in their early days.

Been spinning a lot of Old Man Gloom. Proceed with caution, some of their stuff (Christmas especially) seems meant to test your patience.

Yeah ill look into Brutal Truth the next time I wanna jam some Grindcore. Kinda surprising you dont like the early Architects stuff, considering the heavy influences from Oh Sleeper, Underoath, and others of their kind. In fact id say that Hollow Crown is like a better heavier version of Oh Sleeper's debut with better clean vocals and cooler build-ups. Their first two were pretty traditional Mathcore with more of a melodic touch to it. Then after they put out Hollow Crown they did an album that sounds like Alexisonfire and then an album that sounds like a mix between the previous two and then they jumped onto the djent Metalcore bandwagon when they saw the fame that Northlane were getting.

I think I listened to a bit of Old Man Gloom a long while ago, ill look into them again sometime.

They're pretty great but kinda weird, their early albums are basically just heavy sludge tracks sandwiched between psyched-out ambient tracks. It's kind of jarring but their last two (or three? the last two have the same title and were released at the same time...) albums did a much better job at meshing the heavy and ambient moments together.

Pretty cool band and one of those few good obscure gems to come out of Rise Records, the clean vocals,s are a bit bland but the sound is like Metalcore from around 2004-2006 is, ya know the final hurrah from Metalcore before it slid into autotune and excessive breakdowns. Too bad that they only released one album before they called it quits.

Fucking hell yeah to ZAO, one of my personal favorites. I like listening to Parade of Chaos and their newest the most out of all their records. The Bled are alright I might go back and listen to some of their stuff again, I remember Pass he Flask being their most popular but I got more into their later albums more. Heard of Majority Rule but never listened to them. I wouldnt consider either ZAO or The Bled mallcore if you were trying to imply that, both bands are ones that im pretty sure wouldnt be up the alley for scenesters.

Hows some Role Tomassi
