Shut up, my avi is now hijacked by Fortress Whale. [Discuss on Ritual Monsters]

The best ritual monster is indesputably:

He's the Synchro Killer before Synchros. Back in the day, he was just the Beatdown Monster Killer.

Let's compare Rituals, Fusions, and Synchros requirements:

Rituals:

• you need the Ritual monster and one of maybe three Ritual cards and either:

-normal monsters in the deck whose levels total the Ritual monster, or

-Tributes whose levels are equal to the level (or higher if the ritual card allows it)

• if the ritual spell card is negated, you only lose that card.

Fusions:

• you need a Fusion Monster in the Extra Deck, a fusion card that can summon it, and at least two monsters that can be used in the appropriate place (usually field and hand).

-Some Fusion cards allow fusing from the Graveyard, making the only real investment the Fusion Card

• if the fusion card is negated, you only lose that card.

Synchros:

• You need a Synchro monster in the Extra Deck and its material on the field (including one Tuner) whose levels equal the Synchro Monster's.

• if the Synchro Summon is negated, you lose the Synchro Material and the monster.

To me, it looks like easiest to summon to hardest to summon is Synchro, Fusion, and Ritual, and, so, the most powerful to least powerful should be Ritual, Fusion, then Synchro.

Sadly, Synchros were made so powerful that trying to make Rituals so much more powerful would probably just result in banworthy Rituals.
