1 Tuner Synchro Monster + 2 or more non-Tuner Synchro Monsters This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Synchro Summon. This card can attack a number of times during the Battle Phase equal to the number of non-Tuner monsters used as Synchro Material Monsters. Once per turn, you can negate the activation of a Spell, Trap or Effect Monster's effect and destroy it. When this card is removed from the field, you can Special Summon 1 "Shooting Star Dragon" from your Extra Deck.

Why not just "Solemn" it? Because the Summon is negated, it "technically" doesn't hit the field right? And therefore it's S.S. a Shooting Star Dragon effect doesn't happen? Or am I wrong on this one <_<

No, you're right. But, unless you solemn it, it goes trolol.

Just trying to make sure cuz apparently we have a few players over here saying it's second effect would still resolve. :/ This is just as bad as Chaos Envoy and some of the other forbidden cards. And there are ways of summoning this guy out quickly! Just use a Trishula Loop deck with the now infamous "Level Eater/Stealer" and you can actually have 2 of these guys on the field....ON THE FIRST TURN! DX

Oh...and ty for the rock. I'll go put it with the others.

Summon Junk Synchron
Grab Spore (still has its effect)
Special Doppel Warrior
Tune Junk and Doppel for T.G. Hyper Librarian
Get 2 Tokens
Tune Spore with a Token for Formula Synchron
Draw 2
Use Spore's effect and remove a lvl 3 Plant-Type (Lonefire/Dandylion)
Tune lvl 4 Spore with Token for T.G. Hyper Librarian
Draw 1
Sync all 3 for Shooting Quasar Dragon

And that is but one of many ways without Monster Reborn, Call of the Haunted, or Limit Reverse.

for sure that method use less cards to summon SQD compare to other methods. this combo use just 3 cards! but reality it's 4 since you need to remove a plan for spore again.

for fish synchro, it's basically superancient's, 2 7 colors fish, 1 fishborg and 1 Deepsea Macrotrema

this use more cards but get the job done a bit faster.

Of course Konami will give it the same rulings as Scrap Dragon/Voltic Tricorn.
Meaning Solemn doesn't prevent the Shooting Star effect.
