YCM Member Brawl 3 (Round 5 is over)

Around one year ago, the government had successfully crafted an artificial intelligence that surpassed what was thought to be capable of modern technology. Instilling it into a supercomputer, it was deemed the name "Smesh". However, a ninja clad in green had infiltrated the government, infecting Smesh with a virus crafted by his partner, an ingenious inventor. Soon, Smesh became corrupt, spreading its virus through the internet to seize several, random computers of the poor, unsuspecting citizens, stealing the information on their hard-drives as a result. With the ninja and inventor influencing Smesh, it forced its victims to do "battle" through cyberspace, with the loser losing things like their social security number or financial records, whereas the winner proceeded in their quest to win back what was taken from them. Only three lucky souls managed to retrieve their information, thus ending the threat of Smesh, which had been shut down by elitist government agents known as the Mods.

Angered that the Mods had finally severed their hold on Smesh, the ninja and inventor decided to enact revenge. Through cunning wits and perseverance on the inventor's behalf, the ninja was able to proceed with infecting the Mods' computers at their agency, continuing the grueling game with the ones that had brought an end to their first endeavor. However, the Mods quickly brought about their escape, once again preventing the ninja and inventor from having fun.

After an anxious wait, the ninja was fed up and infiltrated the government once more, stealing the shut-down machinery of Smesh. The inventor toiled and tread the difficult path of reconstructing Smesh, finally reviving it in a new image. Now known as "Dark", the duo restarted their quest of chaos, ensnaring 64 unsuspecting individuals in their trap, this time with added protection to ensure the Mods would not be able to interfere. However, their game did not run as smoothly as before. With the inventor's knowledge only extending so far, Dark ran things differently from Smesh, creating uncertainty amongst the duo on whether their plans would proceed as scheduled, if at all. This disorganization led to three new victors to recover what they had lost, allowing a team-up with the previous three winners which had been alerted to the repeating situation. With Dark's artificial intelligence capable of experiencing emotion, it shut itself down out of frustration and informed the ninja and inventor they could run their show on their own.

Today, after months spent carefully planning and organizing their next attack, the games begin once more...

Hey YCM! After a hiatus lasting several months, the YCM Member Brawl has returned! Here, 64 YCM members will be pitted against each other in matches to determine which members are "the best". This thread will serve as the holder of the main information regarding the tournament, nominations, and general discussion about the YMB.

This is to ensure that the YMB 3 will run smoothly as possible with little to no problems butting in.

[spoiler=Nomination Rules]
1. You are allowed to nominate THREE members. HOWEVER, before you do, please check the front page to see whether the member you want to nominate is already in or not.
2. Please provide links to the profiles of the member(s) you are nominating.
3. You may NOT nominate yourself.
4. A member needs TWO nominations in order to participate in the YMB.
5. If you wish to change your nominations, whether adding or subtracting someone, please edit your previous post and then make a separate post informing us of the change. You can only make 2 changes to your nominations, excluding a case regarding Rule 7.
6. If you nominate a member that is already in the YMB, we will reply to your post informing you that your nomination does not count and will ask you to please nominate someone else, if willing.
7. Members cannot object to someone's nomination, unless it is their own. In which case, no one will be allowed to nominate said member.
8. Mods and previous YMB winners are allowed to participate. [b]Yes, you read right.[/b] We honestly do not believe Mods will automatically gain votes just because of their status, neither that the previous winners will automatically win again. Our community has changed, and with it, altered opinions and new members. Let's shake things up with champions defending their titles as they clash with the newcomers!
9. Finally, there will be 64 competitors in total, as with the last YMB. When the first 64 members with 2 nominations each have been decided, nominations will close. [/spoiler]

[spoiler=For those who are new to the YMB concept]
Matches are simple voting polls between two competitors. People vote for one member over the other and whoever garners the most votes advances to the next round. The tournament is set up as an elimination style method much like how martial arts tournaments are run. Each round will cut the remaining numbers in half until we have a final match. The top 3 winners will be awarded special GFX prizes and other custom awards will be handed out to certain contestants by Enzax Aito and myself. You are free to advertise matches and to encourage friends and strangers to vote.[/spoiler]
1. NO FLAMING. If we see voters or competitors flaming one another they [b]will[/b] be reported.
2. Round 1 matches will progress as they have in the past. From Round 2 until the finale, the YMB will be pulling a take off the YGT. We're running a story for this YMB 3 and we intend for it to spice up the tournament to more than just random matches.
3. [u]Please[/u] don't come to us specifying powers or specific things about you for us to write for your match. If necessary, [b]we'll come to you.[/b] ...that said, accurate characterization is not a guarantee.
4. Polls will be public to ensure no one votes for themselves or crafts double accounts.
5. Specific rulings such as time limits will be provided in a spoiler somewhere on this post at the start of each new round.
6. You can't vote for yourself.
7. In order for your vote to count, you [u]must[/u] vote in the poll.
8. All matches run on EST times.

We don't need help writing or posting matches unless both of us somehow suffer an emergency, in which case, we'll ask for volunteers.
We will do our best to keep this event organized and timely so everyone can enjoy.
If we see an infringement of the rules, we will notify you and urge you to rectify said infringement.
