Even if its for an undersupported type...its still poor design.

Blake
Pot of Duality This thing is basically a Rescue Rabbit for Thunders. Between the swarming Thunder Family, Watts, and Batterryman AAA, it has a ton of targets. At that, Thunder Family has lots of space for anti-OTK like T-Roar and Swift Scarecrow, which they can then turn the tables on and punish them for their attempt. This pairs far too well with both duality and Cardcar, allowing thunders to hoard all the advantage they can get, without running anything except a 9 card consistency engine. There's also Recycling Batteries, which now has almost no fear of clogging. This turns Thunders as a type from "Under supported" into a consistent deck with potential, singlehandedly. Sleepy
The card is essentially like REDMD. It'll be acceptable as long as the rest of the Type sucks in general. When Konami decides to start focusing on bumping said Type, this card's true problems with the design will merge. For REDMD, it was awfully obvious that was gonna happen some day, but I think this card's restrictions do enough. -No Special Summons this turn. -Must search to copies of a monster.
You should start your argument with why it's badly designed. I've stopped reading your posts since the majority of them just say "bad design" /end. Showing a little variation when arguing tends to get your points across better.
From the pattern I see. Anything that generates pluses seems to be "bad design" in there, even though it's a crusial part of the game. I mean, I could sort of understand the idea of "you should only be able to get pluses from playing skillfully and not from effects that give them to you in your face", but... IDK This is all just my speculation though...
Blake
I was on my damn phone. I couldn't post a full reply then, so I did it later. So, what's the problem, besides that stick in your ass, Aggro? As for Sleepy, have you ever played against the deck? Seen what this card does in action? Thunders can now end turn 1 with 8 cards, and only 2 of them are even vulnerable to a non-Wind-up/Gishki/Dark World opponent. It provides set-up in the Same way as Rabbit, with the restrictions of duality. That's not enough, because AAA, The Thinder Family, and Vylon Prism exist. None of these cards are inherently bad design, only become fast enough because Seahorse enables them. I'd talk about Watts, but what it does there should be clear enough. A Thunder-RotA would be better designed for this purpose, even. Namely, the Anime Thunder RotA. Seahorse just removes the need for real set up and allows either an OTK in the long run, or stupid amounts of +1 and +0 Xyz and Synchros, because your combo pieces get grabbed from the very get go. I'm not saying it's the worst designed card ever, but as a player of the deck, it's pretty hard to think it's even close to balanced. And idk why the hell you people think skill = good design, on it's own. (null)
