Fire King Avatar Garunix

FIRE/Winged Beast/Level 3/700 ATK/1700 DEF

If a face-up "Fire King" monster you control is destroyed by a card effect and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is destroyed by your opponent: Special Summon 1 "Fire King Avatar" monster from your Deck.

NOTE: Garunix cannot summon High Avatar Garunix.

I'm not sure but I think that Triton would also activate the effect of Atlanteans tributed for this effect. Which generally means Normal Summon Heavy Infantry > Normal Summon Triton using Infantry's effect > Activate Triton's effect > Special Summon a 2800 beater while weakening monsters and popping a face-up card.

At least Triton can't be returned to hand by Salvage. That's one positive I guess. And Poseidra won't have any effect on the field, it'll just be a beater, albeit a quick and powerful one.

I was wrong about Garunix just being able to loop. Apoligies. Now that I consider it, little Garunix isn't that bad. In fact, I'm pretty sure it is much more balanced than Triton.

Doesn't young fire king mean you can drop it when you use Onslaught of the Fire Kings...ugh fire king shenanigans.

And I already hated Atlanteans this just sounds like a quick way to get multiple cards in the graveyard for moulinglacia. Because if you're going to negate one 2800 beatstick eff you might as well make life easier for the other one.

They're so cute!

Ahem, sorry.

They seem okay. The first one combos uncomfortably well with Diva, but Poseidra isnt actually very good, awesome as it is. The second one seems decent enough, since it can be destroyed by battle.

The first one also combos well with Heavy Infantry, if you happen to draw them both in your hand.
