Cranecrane

But it IS a machine type

thats true. meaning its pretty neat for that. youve just gotta find a way to make it work.

EDIT: i suppose the best way to go for it is gear gigant since thats actually a generic machine searcher. since gigant requires some prior setup, that means cranecrane is likely not to be the super cool sangan/tgu for machines. but probably a neat little guy overall.

The wiki article doesn't say what episode it was in, otherwise we could watch that and see exactly how it's supposed to work. If it didn't summon copies of itself then it probably summons anything, but it may become Machine-Types only excluding itself, and stuff like that.

Seeing as it summoned Achacha, it probably will not be Machine-Only, unless they want to make the show wrong, but more than likely will have some other restriction applied to it. Otherwise... Well, I dunno.

It states just any level 3 monsters via its effect...

Plus I noticed through this this of machine targets that it also has a few tuner targets in the machine line making you wonder if Crane will have the this card cannot be used as a material for a synchro monster clause.

Remember back in 5Ds when Junk Warrior gained the attack of all face-up lvl 2 or lower monsters with no conditions whatsoever?

Remember how Yuma continuously has to summon Gagaga Gardna in Attack Position?

It wouldn't be the first time the show's wrong.

Those are pretty much exactly the same as the anime effects, though.

And yes I know they break it sometimes for card effects (example: Stratos from the manga), but usually they don't change effects too much.
