byak
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 Level 3 monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target, but its effects are negated. You can only use the effect of "Crane Crane" once per turn. + = or (replace drill synchron with any other earth tuner for barkion) + = + + = Other targets If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type monster from your hand. You cannot Special Summon monsters other than Dragon-Type monsters or conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this effect. You can only use the effect of "Kodomo Dragon" once per turn. Sora1499
It specifically stated that the revived monsters effects are negated, so why would you even think that it could work? Cards like cardcar and rai-oh can act under skill drain, so I thought it worked like that.Remove Lonefire for Spore Crane Crane -> Dandylion Make Leviair bring back Lonefire and get tokens Tribute tokens for Lonefire and combo off or Tribute Lonefire for your second Spore/Copy Plant Make Librarian using lv4 Spore + Token Make Formula with lv1 Spore + Token :D I'll be right back. AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
Cards like cardcar and rai-oh can act under skill drain, so I thought it worked like that. Skill Drain negates effects. This stops them from activating, so they can't use their cost to get off the field. Oh, and isn't Dandy's second token supposed to be mad? The two in the OP are happy. *Pedantic.* OT: It's a potential "Normal Summon ED monster," of course it's dumb.
Blake
Skill Drain negates effects. This stops them from activating, so they can't use their cost to get off the field. Um, no. It doesn't stop the activation at all, just negates the effect itself no matter where the card is, so long as it activated on the field. If you revive Card Trooper with Debris Dragon, who has the same wording, Card Trooper can mill, but it won't gain. Same would apply here. It's different from Skill Drain because Skill Drain negates ON THE FIELD.
Miror B
Cards like cardcar and rai-oh can act under skill drain, so I thought it worked like that. Skill Drain works differently from most everything. This stops them from activating, so they can't use their cost to get off the field. No it doesn't.It's different from Skill Drain because Skill Drain negates ON THE FIELD. "Face up monsters" is the correct way because stuff like Debris negates effects on the field. Thomas★Zero
As I said before this work best mainly in a Machine Dupe deck were you can just get spams for rank 3's and level 6/9 Synchros... then recycle the Crane with Debris to make the various Black Rose Dragon or other level 7 dragon synchros. for Example... Summon Crane Crane to Summon a level 3 machine tuner with 500 ATK or less, Machine Dupe to get 3 of that monster, Either; A: Synch into a level 6 and make a Rank 3 monster B: Synch into a level 6 then into a level 9 C: Make 2 Rank 3 Xyz monsters D(If mentioned card is made): Make a Shark Kaiser that then becomes to begin with a 2800 beater. So many options.
Sora1499
@Neos No, I think Machine Dupe would be responsible for that.
Toffee.
Drill Synchron idea seems funny as hell, when you run it with Dandylion.I mean, Drill Warrior would then recover the same Crane, and you can do it all again next turn.

Pchi
The wiki says it is Yep, the Kanji in its card text stands for "Bird", not "Machine". Same case with Pakubagu, who is an Insect-Type, but it was originally thought to be a Fiend-Type, though, in its case, wikia still hasn't fixed that.
