Richard was utterly surprised by what he was hearing. He had no idea about any of this, especially regarding Wylfred's true intentions. The fact that he's hearing all this is just making his whole body shake slightly. Wylfred's connection to Azami is far more than I realized. Why is it that he wasn't told of this before, when he felt the need to know about it. It's understandable that she wishes to keep things to herself. But for something that serious and confidential, this should have been a given so he could come up with strategies regarding her situation. But, he shouldn't have to worry about it. At least, not until we strike at him. Hopefully, Miss Yamada isn't keeping any more secrets from us. he thought. I would lose more and more respect for her the more she keeps to herself. Richard walked over to Brom, who most likely is becoming impatient at the moment. "Just relax, the lecture will be done soon." he said quietly to him. "This is important, so at least try to act like you're listening? Just something to consider." He then walked back to where he was originally.

Jimmy Miles: 3 stories below Noirlune city

-12:30 pm-

The thieves guild was generally a bustling hub of people nowadays. Assassins moving to the surface to complete a contract, pickpockets coming to deliver their days winnings to their superiors, guards standing around the edges of the massive hall on the 3rd basement floor of the guild. All going about their business as usual. The large hall looked more like a market place than a guild, with multiple 'stalls' for different contract types, with alcoves leading to smaller side rooms for underlings to talk to their masters, a brothel towards the outer-edge, a casino somewhere along the western wall, a dark, church-like opening for the darker section of the guild, and a small door right at the back of the northern wall.

Inside this small door lay a simple set of rooms, simply decorated, with only the basic furnitures. The simple rooms linked to a narrow corridor, into which the outer door intruded. 6 doors into these simple rooms adorned the walls of this thin hallway, 3 on each side, and at the end of the narrow, but strangely long hall, a slightly larger door stood, bordered by two burning sconces. This room was similarly simple, but a single, wooden desk backed by a wall of books, with 2 wooden chairs on either side of the desk. On the desk lay a sheet of paper, a contract of some kind, with half a scrawled signature on the bottom, that slid away in the direction of a hand of a man, sprawled across the desk. A quill point away from him, the tip of it ending a trail of ink across the table.

The man was rather small and lithe looking, but healthy enough body-wise. His sleeping figure breathed softly in a steady rhythm, his back rising and falling slightly with each in/exhale. However, his face looked less healthy. It had a sickly pallor, and his expression was contorted into that of pain and fear, signs of a slightly troubled sleep.

A knock at the door awoke him suddenly, and he jerked upright so quickly he ended up toppling his chair, landing hard on his back, causing him to gasp in pain. Hearing the loud thud, the man outside the door rushed in, ducking slightly so his giant head didn't smash into the door frame.

"Jimmy?" Bolag, 'the ox' called, worriedly. The man in question, Jimmy 'the snake', lifted a hand weakly from the floor, before pushing himself off the ground and lifting his chair back from the stone floor. He seemed to lack any fear of the giant before him, despite him being over a foot taller, and taking up most of the room. In fact, even the light from the single candle on his desk threw a intimidating shadow over the man, and still Jimmy betrayed no fear.

"Yes Bolag? I'm quite...err...busy at the moment." Jimmy asked, straightening himself out and seating himself once again, finishing the signature he had half written. After that, he reached behind him and lifted a book down from the wall behind him, opening it to a seemingly random page.

Bolag chuckled slightly, despite worrying for his oldest friend. Their leader's pride would never allow him to be 'caught off-guard', as he had a moment ago. And yet, he was, and that was what worried Bolag. Sleeping in the middle of the day, while there was work to do? That was not like Jimmy at all. And he looked so ill and tired.

Bolag shook his head slightly, wiping away the thought. Jimmy didn't get ill, he had a cure for most illnesses. "Just came to deliver the reports on the Guards - funding, training, number of them, ecetera." Bolag explained, dropping a few sheets of paper onto Jimmy's desk.

Jimmy returned it with a groan, not looking forward to overlooking it. "The guards stationed outside our barracks are Kila and Halin. Kila's a bit inexperienced, but he's sharp. Halin's old, but has been here a while. He wont let us down."

Jimmy sighed and turned to the sheets, lowering his book as he quickly skimmed over them. "It's not like there's anything to steal. We keep ourselves simple. Besides, anything we have of value is hidden well, isn't it?" Jimmy asked, looking up from the papers. Bolag nodded re-assuringly, and recognised the futility of the guards for the most part. There was little of value in the Original 6's quarters. And the Guild itself was difficult to find. But they had been useful occasionally, and were vital at some times for the survival of the guild, and so they stayed.

Having skimmed quickly over the report, he pushed it to the side and lifted his book up, closing it rather violently and placing it back in the bookshelf. "I'm gonna go for a walk, I think." Jimmy stated, pushing himself away from the desk and grabbing a tattered cloak off of a coatrack next to the door. Bolag nodded his head is a simple gesture of acknowledgement, following Jimmy out of the door, and into the main thieves guild hall. The two guards nodded quickly to them, both in entirely different manners; one rushed and eager, the other slow and acknowledging, with the respect of an old man. The two guards were entirely dissimilar, one being a dark-skinned boy with short, cropped hair, no older than 18. The other, a balding pale man no older than fifty. Each muttered 'Snake' in respect to their leader, and Jimmy followed with each of their names, before vanishing into the large crowd of recruits, thieves, assassins and those with jobs needing doing, abandoning Bolag and heading for a flight of stairs upwards, arriving in the sewers under Noirlune.

Noirlune City

After arriving in the fresh air, he spent a good hour wandering around the Noirlune market-places, buying nothing and keeping a hood up to conceal his identity, but looking over multiple stalls, ranging from simple fruit stalls to extensive collections of exotic weaponry. Nothing seemed to interest him a lot, but he looked over it anyway.

By half 1, he had arrived outside a seemingly innocent flower shop. It didn't seem very occupied, but it was definitely open, for he had just noted two vampire women leaving the please with hands full of roses. Of course, normally Jimmy wouldn't have been too interested in a florist's. But something drew him to the store.

As he got closer to the door, he noticed two things. One, the shop had suddenly closed - a suspicious time of day and rather suddenly after those women had left - and that it was a rather famous florist he had heard of before. Again, for 2 reasons. The first being that it was also home to one of the more impressive Blacksmiths of Noirlune, reknowned for his talent with speedy forgery of quality metal. The other was that it had managed to completely resist extortion. None of his men dared go near it any more, for on 5 seperate occasions they had attempted to threaten, coerce, seduce and blackmail the owner into submission, and yet he managed to resist each time. It had never truly intrigued Jimmy, or any other of the 6, but now it peaked his interest.

Having been drawn to it, he decided he might as well investigate, and moved quickly around the building, silently and swiftly arriving at the rear door, tightly secured in its own right. Preparing a spell of invisibility, Jimmy quickly picked the locks, creeping into the door and arriving into the dark, back room of the Florist's shop, instantly enveloped in various scents of rare and powerful plants. Many of which he valued in his various elixirs. He'd have to remember this place, it could definitely be valuable.

After snatching a small selection of some of the rarer flowers and seeds, including a single petal off an extremely rare Jade Vine - rightfully one of the highest priced flowers in the shop - he moved towards a dark wooden door, hidden in the wall. He pressed his ear close up against the door, and could faintly hear a rather violent hacking. The person who had managed to scare off many of his men sounded like he was an old man, despite descriptions of him being about Jimmy's own age.

At any rate, he seemed rather vulnerable at the moment. Jimmy supposed he might as well take the opportunity to scare the man into giving 'protection money', or at least pilfer some goods, and so opened the door slowly and carefully, taking light steps down the staircase to wherever the man had been.

Naoirlune City, Raphael's Training Room

Raphael had taken a moment to sit down, taking deep breaths so as to get himself ready to keep his warm-up going, There were only two things on his mind, one was the fact that he wouldn't have the time to study his blood samples....but more importantly.....a heartbeat, separate from his own, the blood rushing through his own body made his hearing weaker, but he could sense another rhythm......but no footsteps.....he would have heard someone coming earlier....this was effecting him...whoever was moving was good, very good, far superior to him in stealth, but from the sound of his heartbeat...louder then his foot steps.....he was sick.

"How in the world did you get in?" He asked without turning back. "I've dealt even with those bastards of the Thieves Guild and none were as stealthy as you.....you even took a Jade Leaf.....you bastard those were hard to collect" He stood up and turned to see nothing, the best invisibility he had ever....not seen. "If you're down here then it's either a stupid stroke of luck or you knew who I was...." He said as he silenced himself, if they didn't know they would simply think of his job as both a blacksmith and Alchemist. "Your invisibility isn't hiding the plants you're trying to steal thief.....show yourself or I'll track you down by smell" Raphael threatened as he pulled a silver dagger from the back of his belt.

Raphael was warmed up, but still having trouble with the black blood in his throat. "And if you're from that idiotic thieves guild you should have listened to the 4 men I rejected and the female I took care of...how is she by the way? Can she walk straight yet?" he joked, something he did rarely, but someone of this level was also very rare, something he could truly enjoy.

Wylfred's Mansion, Front yard

Amisi looked on as Lariat fell to her injured, pushing her to the ground.......It angered her.....this demon had hurt the stupid wolfy, just like how the other demonic item had hurt the large nature wolfy Gnarl...... "You monster.......why would you want to hurt them? They didn't do anything to you......." The vines wrapped around the still conscious yet dazed Lariat and pulled him off her, flower buds latching onto his skin and pouring enzymes on his body while Amisi stood up, her eyes slowly glowing green as the ground was beginning to shake like when she summoned the tree earlier, though far more violent.

"You....You witch.....monster.......how dare you....." She was angry, she didn't want another of the wolves to die by the hands of something demonic. "HOW DARE YOU!" She roared as all of a sudden dozens of branches erupted from around Freyr, slowly they hardened and tied to each other as they began pulling a tree from the ground itself to lift her up like a platform. The Vines seemed split, a vibrant neon green sap leaking from them as it was hardening itself to avoid being cut, reinforcing themselves, but it would take them awhile......

Felice knew her mission... There was something very shiny in the Tower. And Jimmy wanted it. So she decided to get it for him.

This mission Felice was on has taken her at least a whole year to get to the position she needed. While in a maid's uniform and looking under a table or two, Jimmy said he couldn't give her the details on what it was but she would know when she saw it. Her butt bobbing in the air as she searched, Felice then heard a ding from the elevator she yipped and got up dusting her self off and bowing with two hands at her lap, as the doors opened, "Welcome Mistress~ Nya~"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(1 Year Ago)
It was Quite the Wet winter. It rained more than it snowed. The pitter patter of rain on the rooftops rag loudly, in a Ally way out of sight a woman hidden behind a black umbrella stood over a seemingly young girl with barely any clothes, obviously  a beggar trying to get some type of benefit from the woman. Oddly she payed attention. Was it compassion for the crying girl? Was it concern for her well being? No, she interested the woman.
The poor wet girl with twitching wolf ears and tail that basically gave her already sad appearance emphases, with big blue eyes she looked up at the good doctor. With a squeak she begged, "P-Please... I I'm all alone... I need some one... Anyone... I'll be your maid your slave! Just keep me out of the rain..." The woman Gave a slide smile and extended a hand to the girl, Her pleas were not what allowed this, her beauty was not what Interested the woman, No this girl was some thing she wanted to experiment on. A unique type of Lycanthropy, and that excited her.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Felice was practically a pet and/or a trophy but has become Quite accustomed to the role and Loved being petted by the Doctor...... Once in the Blue moon The doctor actually is nice. But she dutifully mewed for her Mistress. Her sizable Bust was exposed from the shape of the maid outfit, tho she didn't mind, and her ears were laid flat upon the top of her head as her tail remained coiled around her thigh.

Though when the door opens it was empty, "E-eh?" She slowly moved and enters the door. She was probably going to be hit for this...

Behind the group the Elevator door opens again. Felice walks out and bows, "I-I'm sorry for being late Nya~"

Freyr paused, and glanced at the nature user, he gave an apathetic stare, which could be far worse than his mocking one.

"On the contrary love, they did. If your small mortal mind couldn't comprehend they attack me," Freyr replied his voice breathy with annoyance, he closed eyes as the branches surround him. He quelled the anger slowly rising within himself, like a warm bile, knowing it would do no good, to let 'her' out.

Niasa also also felt it, a dark presence, rising in Freyr's soul, but for some reason not in her own. It was pure evil, darkness that dwarfed Freyr's own, and it frighten Niasa.

"What was that!?" Niasa panicked wanting very badly to break from her mental bonds, and run from the presence, though it had already retreated, suppressed by Freyr.

"Nothing you need worry about... for now princess," Freyr replied strained. Returning to the problem at hand Freyr fixed Amisi with the cold blood-red gaze of Niasa's eyes, which briefly flashed in the amber of his own. The dome was already beginning to close, and should Freyr want to escape he would have to act quickly. Swinging his whip, he cut through one of the thinner branches escaping the dome flying up to Amisi's eye level, but staying far away from the tree, knowing it would be certain death to enter the nature user's domain.

"I'm will give you a warning girl, despite the idiocy of the werewolf alpha, you do not have to share his fate," Freyr spoke the words as though they were alreay set in stone, as though his victory was certain, written in the stars long ago by beings beyond their understanding, "I will show what you will face, and let you make the descion of whether, or not you wish to continue you're frivolous struggling." At that moment Freyr hit Amisi with the full force of his demonic aura, showing Amisi the entirety of his soul, and what she saw might startle her.

One may think that a demon's soul would be black, at least metaphorically, its soul consumed by pure evil, but within him she would see muted grey, and further within two orbs, a deep perfect black, and the other a beautiful pure white.

"Now you see what you face," Freyr said, not realizing just how much of his own soul he had bared to the desert maiden, "make your choice."

Noirlune Spire, Lecture Room

"...Eh."

Why is she here?! I told her, didn't I tell her to stay put?! Of course, the Doctor had overlooked a major flaw in her command. There was absolutely no way that any living being could stay in the same room for five hours without doing anything, especially somebody like Felice. Although Azami did panick for a moment, she remained calm on the outside and coughed a bit before gesturing towards the girl, acting as if nothing was out of the ordinary.

"This is Felice. A genetically-engineered catgirl, with a similar situation to shark-girl here." Azami introduced, disguising her malformation as something else. If they learned the truth, it could ultimately prove disastrous for everyone. Then just in case, she added, "Mason, you may have encountered her before. She's the new maid I told you about."

Wylfred's Mansion, Front Courtyard

Freyr easily negated the ice spears and went on to take both Lariat and Amisi out with little to no effort. It was up to Wylfred alone now. He had no choice. Now, all he could do was obliterate this being at enhanced full power. He closed his eyes and began to gather mana from all around him, his fur taking on a paler color and about to unleash the full power of lycanthropy, the air around him beginning to shake in fear. But then, right before he could finish, Amisi suddenly recovered from the blow and...exploded.

He opened his eyes and expelled all the power, just in time to see the nature user unleash hardening dozens of branches that wrapped themselves around the demon, reinforcing themselves and trapping the entity within - though it obviously wasn't going to be enough. Swinging its whip, Freyr escaped through one of the thinner branches and jumped back to a safe-enough distance. Before the Alpha could close that distance, Amisi was hit directly with a deep wave of...shadows?

Stranger things had happened.

He continued rushing, and as soon as Amisi had snapped out of it, Wylfred's clawed hand was already wrapped around Freyr's neck - capable of snapping it at any given moment.

"You overestimate yourself, demon." Sir Wylfred stated, and began to clench tighter and tighter, letting his sharp claws dig into the strong-yet-pale skin of the body. It was hard to say how Freyr would die first, by strangling or by a severed jugular vein.

Alsa smiled in comfort. "Relax. Verdanda will be gone before the night." He reassured her, before turning his head towards a different direction with a relieved expression. "I can sense Sir Feredir and Alexandria coming back, that's good... oh, I just realized something. We haven't had lunch yet, have we?"

Brom watched the proceedings in silence. The information being given was gold, but hardly earth shattering. What truly interested him was this new girl. Felice. A cat girl? An interesting turn of events, almost to the point that it wasn't believable. He studied over the Doctor's words, trying to find a hint of the truth, if it was just a quiver of her voice or a break in her tone. He could tell something wasn't right. This girl. She seemed familiar. Not in a way that he had met her before, but in a way that he had seen her kind. Although he was sure that he would remember meeting a catwoman such as herself. "So who genetically engineered her?" Brom asked, digging for answers.

Mercenary, do I pay you to talk? Azami thought to herself, but knew it couldn't be avoided. As a mercenary, he probably had among the best experience in real life when it came to werewolves. Even though everyone had been prepared for them during the Aeon, it was still a dreamlike sequence and had its -if only relatively minor- flaws, at least when compared to the real life. "That would be uh, my colleague, Doctor Kaname Gedozurai. He was known to combine human and animal parts together, so one day, he went ahead and made Felice! A messed-up man with messed-up fetishes, I know, but who am I to complain if he invents space travel?"

Legend says that if a person is being talked about behind their back, they would sneeze. This may or may not happen to Kaname right now.

Brom could hear the irritation in Azami's voice, as well as the hesitation in her explanation. What he had suspected was true, there was more to this 'cat' girl than met the eye. He made a note to keep an eye on her as well as the Doctor. If she was keeping this secret, there was no telling how many others were under her belt. "Messed up indeed." Brom said, his tone one that conveyed his mind was lost in thought. Turning his attention to Felice, Brom studied the girl. "Well it's nice to meet you, I guess. You are probably the most interesting thing that has happened all day."

Brom stuck out his hand, offering a hand shake to the girl. He vowed to learn as much about her as possible. There was no way that he was going to let her, or the Doctor endanger the Resistance or himself. Trust no one.

Felice gave a very cute catlike mew, as she went to bow in response to Brom's greeting, Azami had taught her well as a maid, as she did her cleavage became very visible. Felice too note of this, for some reason people would see a seductive smile but that was fractions of a second before she let out a 'Eep' and face planted on the ground her tail unraveling. The thing, which was slender and covered in short hair unlike a dogs bushy tail, twitched like a cats not swayed like a dogs. This girl was truly odd, and despite all the training Azami thrust upon her Felice was a klutz. Though muffled she spoke, "M-mis Azami Why must I wear such revealing clothes..." Felice false cried, she had been told once before. "I've told you once before Felice Its Impossible for me right now. Your... Bust does not fit the standard sized maid uniform and if we give you an Extra large you will sag. Once I'm done with my experiment I'll order you a custom made one."

"I never got it..." She mumbled to her self as she recollected her memory, before standing up and bowing to apologize for her clumsiness, after she dusts her self off.

Alexandria groaned as the Elf healed her and as he did he took the time to scold her. As always with his scoldings she ignored them trying to drown them out, But she hated when he tried to act fatherly and tell her about recklessness, After he healed her she growled and walked away, noting the fog had thickened, "Dont worry old Geezer I'll find our way back~!" She said in a mocking tone.

Moments later Alexandria was looking side to side then Nil spoke up just before Feredir. "Sister I thi-" he mannaged to get out before she screamed, "SHUT UP!"

Jimmy 'The Snake' Miles

Raphael's Training Room; Noirlune City

Jimmy froze in place as the voice rung out, calling him. Incredible. His footsteps were silent, and the only sound he could hear definitely was his own heartbeat, beating more rapidly now. But he couldn't have heard such a soft sound, could he? No, that was impossible. He was just a paranoid man, that's all. Perhaps hallucinating from whatever illness he had. Yes... hallucinating.

If so, then how did he know Jimmy held a Jade Leaf on him? No, he also looked straight at him, momentarily, his eyes dark and powerful. Mysterious. Unreadable. Who was this man? This man who could merely sense a presence, who had managed to deter most of the thieves guild, who could smell the Jade Vine from across the room. Whoever he was, he was impressive. As impressive as the 6, possibly.

Now grinning, Jimmy lifted the invisibility spell, happy that it, in fact, was still working well. His magic had been deteriorating recently. As he revealed himself, the man drew his own dagger. A silver one. Normally, Jimmy wouldn't be that scared, but recently...no, he'd have to avoid that dagger. Not that it'd be easy, something told Jimmy this was a professional. He'd have to be careful.

"Now then, you haven't been too nice to my guild." Jimmy said, pulling his own knife out and quickly placing a vial into it, a simple paralyzing serum. "Haley's traumatised, but she'll survive. Took a full week to treat her though, you left her in quite a nasty way." He added, accepting the man's jest. Not just a blacksmith, it seemed. In fact...

"Who you really are...? I'm afraid not, my good sir. But you do owe us, my friend. This leaf was merely compensation, I have an eye for the entire plant." He stated, relaxing slightly and pulling the leaf out of his pocket, smelling it quickly.
"Quite a valuable commodity; very useful, in fact. Let me take it off your hands, and you can walk out of here relatively unharmed."

Feredir Beriadon

The Forest near Scarlet Legacy mansion

Feredir sighed as Alexandria pushed ahead once again, and claimed to 'find the way back', a task much better suited to Feredir. And not just for the fact Alexandria started to walk in a direction almost perpendicular from where they wished to go.

"I believe I already indicated that you were following me." Feredir called, pressing his staff to the earth briefly, causing the earth beneath Alexandria to rumble and rotate, turning the girl to face Feredir, before it tipped slightly, forcing her to move away from it. "I am your Elder, your teacher and your superior. You shall listen to me." He ordered, before pivotting and moving once again in the direction of the mansion, a path seeming to appear in front of him as he walked.

"Keep close to me, child. The trees do not welcome you as openly as they do me. And the forest can be a dangerous place to those that do not have the blessing of the trees." Feredir explained, before closing himself off completely from Alexandria, ignoring her further, except to move her back onto the right path when necessary. Instead, he seemed to start some sort of whispered conversation in the elven tongue; from Alexandria's perspective, to himself.

Noirlune Spire, Lecture Hall

The family was pretty complacent for the litany of psychopaths that they actually were. But that is because their minds were pretty much elsewhere. Yes the information on Wyfred was useful and yes the new arrival of the cat lady was something. But the family didn't seem to care. Adrianna just looked at the woman as another grown up who had to deal with the werewolf problem. It was interesting nonetheless. Clarian was keeping an eye on the hired mercenary. His earlier teers and his current annoyance were something that he could not understand. Clarian watched as Brom moved towards the feline construct it looked like this was going to be a pleasant new member of the team. This was until she face planted on the floor. It was comical, its just that no one laughed. The mercenary's distrust in everyone yet his odd budding friendship with Richard was odd to say the least. This lead Clarian to believe that maybe these two may have gone through something during their Aeon simulation. Such an odd predicament Clarian found himself in.

Raphael's Training Room; Noirlune City

"Relatively unharmed you say?" Raphael said lightly, watching his opponent's every move, he was experienced, not trained in a traditional way but trained through hardship and struggle, what dictated the difference between an Assassin and a Thief. "You're much higher ranked then the others, I can tell just from the way you stand......you also came here completely by chance didn't you......no idea as to why you're men couldn't crack me......I thought you would leave this shop be but I see your guild is just to stupid and prideful to not have the whole market under your control...." He looked at the knife in his opponent's hand, it was very much like his own, but his was empty at the moment while Jimmy's was loaded with a vial, from the pale color he could tell it wasn't lethal...but he wouldn't want to be struck by it. He had to deter him as he reached a weapon from his rack.

"You found my hideout.....I can't necessarily let you live, you can tell I'm no ordinary blacksmith......and sadly it seems this little shop of mine will have to close.....once i kill you you're men will search me out.....or will they? I wonder...if this was by chance....does anyone know you're here?" he asked, trying to get any information he could, both men were using their expertise to combat each other, "One more thing though.......that heartbeat of yours....it doesn't sound too good.....don't think you have any handicap on me thief........."

“Not… yet… you… b******,” Freyr gasped out the much larger creature’s claw slowly crushing Niasa’s throat. Raking Niasa’s nails down Wylfred’s chest Freyr hoped the poison would debilitate the werewolf. Though the poison had been designed to target the nervous systems of humans, and vampires, so there was no telling how it would affect a werewolf, but since a werewolf was a transformed human theoretically it should work.  Though due to Freyr’s odd angle the cuts were too shallow, and the dose too small to be deadly. Though for the next few hours or so the Alpha would be feeling intense nausea, and fever.

Within the mental world Niasa struggled for air her life flashed before her eyes. Clawing at the invisible hands that held her hostage, Niasa bucked attempting, futilely to free herself from Wylfred’s iron grip.

Meanwhile not waiting to see if the poison work Freyr angled his foot straight at Wylfred’s groin, a last desperate attempt that should the poison fail, the low blow would break the werewolf’s concentration enough for the demon to break free.

“Oh, yeah I guess not,” Scyllia said head tilted slightly, “I’ll go get Haruna she should almost be done with lunch.” With that the young vampire ran off to find the maid.

Kate Denver

Courtyard outside Wylfred's Mansion

Kate saw the Demon caught by the Alpha Werewolf's stranglehold through the mist, and decided that if she was going to help out, then would be the ideal time. Bringing the water she had gathered plus some extra from the surrounding mist, she threw a pair of water chains with each hand, attempting to wrap up the Demon's wrists and ankles with the water, to reduce her movements and prevent her from attacking the werewolves further.

Lyon von Mira

Scarlet Legacy Mansion

Once the child had left the room, Lyon leaned forwards on his chair more, and started talking again. "If you're going to make use of Verdana's offers and have the army she brought fight the wolves, we'll probably need to make sure to get some safeguards in place to avoid an unfortunate 'accident' occur to you during the battle. I don't know if she actually intends to or not, but I do know she would very much like to take over the throne if she gets the chance, so I'm just suggesting we be cautious. Once Feredir returns, we should probably get his opinion on all this before we do much though." Leaning back again, he gave Alsa a chance to think through his opinion and to wait for Alsa's advisor to turn up so they could get Feredir's thoughts on the matter as well.

Sir Wylfred's Mansion

The demon struggled, and it was almost amusing for Sir Wylfred to watch him/her fight their inevitable death. Her nails raked down his furred chest. He thought it was simply desperation at first, but quickly realized only a moment later that it was actually poison. Large amounts of it as well, by how it felt. But honestly, did she honestly expect poison to work on a being with a massive healing factor and an even greater immune system? His thinking had been a little slowed, true enough, but he could fight this poison easily.

"Do you honestly me to be stopped by tha-"

The swift blow of an inhuman creature suddenly hit the area between his legs, and his grip slackened enough. It was barely enough for Freyr to slip out. But right before the demonic-possessed princess could make his/her getaway, to his bafflement, aquatic chains were thrown from nearby right at them, wrists and ankles chained. As it appeared, they had had an unwelcome guest watching in on this battle. By the smell of it, as if hadn't been able to pay attention before, it was a human. As much as he appreciated the help, he reverted back into his human form within a moment and his gaze turned to the right.

Suddenly, an alien force invaded Kate's control over her chains. Within moments, she had lost control over the chains she had created with the mist...which had never been natural mist in the first place, and they rushed out before chaining her to the ground. She had been trapped by the very beings she had just tried to save.

To put it simply, Sir Wylfred wasn't the best when it came to things like creating chains, as that required a more detailed understanding of structures. Instead, all he did was overload Kate's control and 'stole' her creation away fom her. While she was actually older than him by four years, the Alpha had once been a prodigal elemental magician, and he also possessed a far superior supply of mana. But even then, the greatest contributor to his stealing of her water chain was...

"Thank you for the help." Wylfred told the human. "But you have to know - this mist has been generated using my own mana. That's why only werewolves can see through it. Think twice before using my mana as a weapon, human."

After that rather cruel statement, he turned back to Freyr with a cold look. This time, both its arms and legs were trapped thanks to Kate's water chain. Now, he was in control of the entire situation. In his human form, he knelt down until he was in front of the demon, close enough that he could almost the lips of the vampire princess.

"All bark and no bite." He remarked to the demon. "Any last tricks up your sleeve before I destroy you, Freyr?"

Freyr attempted to retreat, knowing that dragging the battle on further would only make it more detrimental to him, when chains lashed from the mist yanking him to the ground. Scanning the surrounding area he found, a human who now also seemed to be trapped.

“Heehee~ Why of course of do dear Wylfred,” Freyr smiled his eyes locked onto Wylfred, closing the already intimate distance between them. Bringing the still materialized energy wings around to wrap around both him and part of Wylfred. Freyr wrapped his arms around Wylfred’s neck, digging his nails into Wylfred’s shoulder, resting his head right next to Wylfred’s ear. Despite her delicate form, Freyr seemed to have a vice grip on Wylfred.  Had anyone looked on, it would appear to be a sick defilement of a lover’s embrace.

“Do you think you’ve won?” Freyr’s voice had reverted back Niasa’s. It was low, and seductive, “you’ve made a dangerous enemy today. When I am reborn do you know what I will do you? I will make sure you are in wolf form, I will skin you alive, and make a pelt out of it. I will make you cry, bleed, and beg for mercy, and finally when you beg for death, I will stop... wait a minute… and start all over again.”

The demons nails dug harder, into Wylfred’s exposed flesh, the blood from Freyr’s neck washing down his body. Freyr touch Niasa’s fang like upper canine teeth to Wylfred’s neck, considering for a moment to rip out the Alpha’s jugular, but decided against it in favor of making him suffer later and pulled back.

Raising his head so his mouth was just near Wylfred’s ear the demon whispered, his voice rising a little after each word, “I will rend you limb… from limb! All while the slave of nature watches, and afterword I will unite her head with edge of my sword, and mount her DETACHED HEAD AS A MANTLE PIECE! Your little mongrel army will suffer, I assure you Wylfred, my rebirth will come, as will your retribution.”

With that Freyr pulled away, giving Wylfred an innocent smile, as innocent as the demon could manage of course. More calm now, Freyr realized that some of ‘her’ madness had slipped into him.

“Oh, one more thing,” Freyr placed his palm on Wylfred’s heart, “dispel the chains and let me leave, or die.” Black energy crackled across Freyr’s finger tips, ready to for, a lance to pierce Wylfred’s heart should he even twitch the wrong way.

Kate Denver

Courtyard outside Wylfred's Mansion

Annoyed at losing control of her own creation, Kate started to put her thoughts to analysing the rather uncomfortable situation she had found herself in and searching for a way out. Remembering the nature of these particular chains was useful for that goal, as the chains in question, both on her and on the demon, were created in a semi-solid form of water, designed to restrict movement rather than resist being broken. With that in mind, she found that there was enough slack in the chains binding her wrists to allow her to grab the dagger in her left hand and, in a careful movement, she flicked it in her hand to slice through the chain, as well as her own wrist in the process. With the left hand unbound, she could use that to break the chain on her right hand in a much more accurate movement to avoid cutting that arm as well.

Once again free from the chains she had gotten caught in, she quietly sheathed her dagger and drew the pistol in her other hand, carefully moving behind the distracted alpha and demon, to place her gun on the back of the demon's head before speaking. "I would recommend against that threat, cause if you do choose to follow it through, I'll send you down the same way you want to send him."

Moving around somewhat so she could actually try and identify the demon, she was surprised to see that it was the Lady Niasa there, but covered up her shock before speaking to the alpha as well. "I'll be careful of that in the future then, though a confrontation with you is hardly what I was intending anyway. The only reason I even ended up here was from following the lady here, and I certainly didn't expect to end up on the werewolves front doorstep. For what it's worth though, I have no intentions of harming you or your group, not after hearing your noble goals towards your kind."

The whole time she had been saying that, Kate hadn't stopped watching the demon, carefully waiting to see what she would attempt to get out of this latest development.

Wylfred's Mansion

Perhaps he had gone a little too far with the taunting there, as Freyr suddenly counteracted with energy wings that enclosed them both and stretched out the water chains.

With inhuman strength, the demon locked Sir Wylfreed into a sick embracing with a vice grip, and very almost decided to tear into his neck. Poison from her nails rushed deeper still through his body, and though he was more than capable of resisting it, it was distracting. Everything that came out of the demon's mouth was nothing but the rambling of an entity composed of pure evil, so he paid no attention to it. Even after it made its request, he was doubtful whether he would accept it or not. As resilient as this demon was, decapitating it should be more than enough to slay it.

To his bafflement, the human managed to escape but still stayed on his side even after he'd just betrayed her. As strange as it was, he took a split second to appreciate her understanding for his actions before turning back to Freyr.

Afterwards, he clicked his fingers. The chains suddenly disappeared, collapsing entirely into small puddles of water, some of which soaked the clothes of the vampire princess...not that it wasn't already tattered from the tackle he'd given her earlier. Perhaps the human would've protested, but he held out a hand.

"Very well then. You may leave." He told the demon calmly, regardless of everything that had happened in the past.

Freyr may have reacted in surprise or maybe in amusement, but whatever the case, s/he was met with no resistance as they ventured further and further away from Wylfred's Mansion, until they were so far that the mist blocked everything, and even Sir Wylfred himself couldn't see them.

Noirlune Spire, Somnium

Not a single person laughed as the catgirl clumsily fell onto the ground in a comical manner. They probably didn't even care, but it wasn't as if Azami had expected them to. As long as they didn't pay attention, that was good enough. She would have to divert their attention throughout the lecture back towards herself. This was a situation she had absolute control of. The spire's defenses were now completely up, and thus from here on out, there wouldn't be anymore pesky interferences.

"Now then, where was I?...Ah yes. Moons." Azami sensed Brom's boredom, and decided to continue on with the lecture. "While werewolves have been with us for as long as we can remember, as we all know, Lath's moon takes a very long time to complete its cycle. Due to this, we only have one full moon per year, which is why werewolves have been so outspread and unheard of, and even unimportant. But over the past several years, the crimson moon phenomena has granted them a regularity. Now, instead of years, it's days between each and every one of their transformations."

As she talked, their surroundings changed. Everything went darker and darker, until being lit by tiny lights everywhere - stars. Then an orb materialized beside her, slowly rotating on its own axis. It wasn't any ordinary orb though. A single green-colored landmass had been placed over a huge body of water - a continent and an ocean, with infinite detail the closer one looked at it. There was a desert, and there was everything else, matching together with maps only with far superior detail. Seeing patches of white over it all, they must've been clouds, moved by the wind. If this was truly the planet Lath, then Noirlune should be somewhere close to the center of the continent.

Afterwards, a rough white orb appeared around it, circling around it slowly while also spinning. As it did, the light from an undefined source (though obviously the sun) reflected off it to create a 'light side' and a 'dark side'. This must've been the moon. Even though science already knew it was four times larger than Lath, it was still odd. This gigantic thing circled around their planet, instead of the other way around. It was just, well, weird.

"But what is the crimson moon, you might ask?"

As if to answer that question, a faint red light appeared at the other end of the room, right behind where Felice was standing. All of a sudden it began to grow, and grow as it came closer, until it was about ten times the size of Lath. It had no distinguishable features, only a sharp red light. And fire. There was definitely fire. This was an object they should all know as the pretty crimson comet in the sky, the seemingly harmless....pretty thing. The object Doctor Gedozurai aspired to reach. It had been up there for a very long time now, moving extremely slowly, and it had barely moved at all since observation of it began.

But this was massive, and it was set straight on a course for Lath! While the radiance Azami was displaying them through the Somnium was still dim, not enough to blind them, in real life it must've been much brighter.

"The crimson moon, and the comet, are indeed related." She stated grimly. "The comet shouldn't arrive in another hundred thousand years or so, but somehow, it's managing to reflect its light on the moon from a different angle and create a different full moon. I can only assume that it uses electromagnetic waves completely alien to the ones we know, with different dimensional physics that go in other directions. The comet actually traveling at the speed of light, but the mana Lath naturally generates is enough to slow it down this much. Go figure."

After this revelation, the doctor laughed before clicking her fingers - the astronomical model disappeared.

"If you're worried about that, then I assure you that this phenomenon by itself is mostly harmless, and is a passing thing. My master and I estimated that the crimson moon would only last several years before fading away. Sir Wylfred only has a few weeks or so left until he and all the others are left powerless, but..."

Azami looked uncomfortably away from the Resistance. Subconsciously reacting to her thoughts, the Somnium generated an image of the Noirlune Spire once more in front of everyone.

"We don't have that time. His attacks up until now had been directed at the many failsafes I had created for the Tellurion, hidden within different buildings and areas. He knows their locations as he was my apprentice." She told them. "He will definitely attack tonight, and your goal will be to protect that final failsafe. It is something that will send a signal to the Tellurion and automatically cause the entire thing to explode. He won't risk attacking the Spire while it's still active."

A small smirk formed on her face.

"And it just so happens that I hid it within the headquarters of the Thieves Guild - a criminal network hidden right under Noirlune."

----

"Now then. Let's end this."

Sir Wylfred stated this in cold malice, and clenched his two fists together. Although he wouldn't be able to see the final result, this should be enough. This should be far more than enough to take down the demon. There was no way he would ever let a being like that walk away safely, after all.

---

As the demon went on, leaving the mansion of the werewolves safely until he and the girl within were out of range from any possible attack, the clothes they wore were still soaked. Suddenly, they rushed together in front of his heart and froze up instantaneously into the form of a sharp icicle. Then without warning, it shot forth through pale skin, penetrated through his chest and went out like a bullet before any chance of reacting could even register in the demon's mind.

~For an ordinary person, death would be imminent. But for Freyr, as much as Sir Wylfred had hoped him to die, that might or might not be the case.

What a wealth of information that was delivered to them with such intense importance. While Clarice felt righteous indignation at the thought of a man dealing such damage to a woman's property it was Claire who absorbed every detail with a twitch in her eye. The fact that the magic of this planet is strong enough to slow down things traveling light years away is simply amazing. And to think that Adrianna will be able to harness this power. It was the greatest gift a grandmother could give her granddaughter. What was disheartening though was that there didn't seem to be a way to keep the werewolves from drawing from this irregular power source. One would think that a mad scientist would have a way to block out the moon or something. Adrianna was trying to listen intently but her accidental OOh's and AAh's kept slipping out of her mouth. She doesn't usually see such visual stimulation so it was easy for her to get distracted. Latrice and Clarian were the only ones of the family who were dealing with the issues in front of him. The rest were on the same page but all for there own motives.

Latrice decided to step forward and express an actual concern. So what do we do now? Maybe we can split up and have some of us guard the Tellurion and the others mount some form of counter-offensive against the werewolves. Though I have to ask, why did wait until the last failsafe before rounding up everyone for help.

Felice ohh'd and ahh'd at all of the information. And this caused her to gave many cute/scared reactions at the threat of sudden death by comet, she quickly curled her tail around her thigh it coiled snugly on the tan skin of her leg. The bright flash caused her to mew loudly.

Felice then stumbled around still dazed by the bright lights earlier. Only for the klutz to trip and fall again, this time taking Clarian down with her, she yowls slightly and opens her eyes to see her chest in his face. Felice's caramel skin flushing red, "I-I'm sorry Nyahh... " She manages to mew out before standing up To listen to the rest of Azami's speech, though Felice's actions were distracting Azami seemed to continue, either unaffected or didn't notice.

"Waahh! The thieves Guild~!?" She said looking complacant then Felice let out another cute outburst as the young girl kept glancing at Clarian before she said. "Aren't they meanies that take your gems and even go ahead and murder you? Are you gonna tell them ? I mean I don't know how those meanies would react to a small army occupying their ... uhm... Home?" Felice quickly shut up it wasn't her place to help plan.

Something was going on with Richard. His mind appears to be multi-tasking. He was listening to what Lady Azami was talking about and, luckliy enough, hearing about the attack on the final failsafe, but his mind was also somewhere else. It was like the face from inside the Aeon when Richard was "dead" was trying to warn him about Felice. But he couldn't make out his words, except for, "...beware...traitor...Thieves Guild...Felice..." Something was definitely wrong. Now that Richard thought about it, Felice seemed to make him and possibly the others uncomfortable. What was Felice's connection to the Thieves Guild? Was it anything like before the Myriad Truth were destroyed? Nothing made sense, at least for the most part. All he knew, was that Felice could not be trusted, and she has a connection with the Thieves Guild in some way.

Either Lady Azami is unaware of this, or she is hiding it from us to protect us.He had to act now. "Might I intervene for a moment?" Richard asked. He stepped up within full sight of Lady Azami. "This will only be for a few moments." He then cleared his throat and turned his attention to Felice. "Felice, does the name 'Myriad Truth' ring a bell?" He knew that Lady Azami might be surprised by what Richard is doing, but he was now investigating Felice, even though the others might not realize this. "I just like to see if you're well knowledged in criminal organizations." Either this will work perfectly, or fail miserably depending on the response. He can only hope that things go the right way for him.

Brom watched the impressive demonstration without a care in the world. His face revealed no emotion, although on the inside he was secretly astounded. The massive size of the comment was humbling, and the idea that the manasphere around Lath was strong enough to slow the comet down was perhaps even more astounding than its size. It was a lot of information, but not particularly helpful. There was no way that they could have an influence strong enough to stop the meteor or redirect its path. That meant that they were back to square one, killing the werewolves.

"I hid it within the headquarters of the Thieves Guild." As the words left Azami's mouth, a sneer of disdain crossed Brom's features. He was well acquainted with the Thieves Guild, often running into each other on jobs of equal interest. They were nothing but low rate criminals that were paid to do a job that was far beyond them. Their heists were so amateur it made Brom sick. However, it also meant that getting to the last failsafe might prove easier than it appeared. The Thieves Guild had very few members that Brom even considered a threat, they should be able to get in and out without too much problem.

"Felice, does the name 'Myriad Truth' ring a bell?" Richard asked the catwoman. Brom opened his mouth to protest the asking of useless questions, but then realized that perhaps he wasn't the only one that found suspicion in this new girl, so instead he waited on her answer.

Felice's ears flatten as she suddenly is interrogated. She was actually scared, she came to Azami for protection and now these boys... were Hounding her. Felice's ears suddenly point, her eyes thin down to slits, and she tenses up as if shes about to pounce at the name Myriad Truth. "Uhm.... Oh my gosh!" She says bouncing happily with a level of cuteness never seen before by even Azami her chest jiggling as she does, "I've never had that fish before! I'm so Excited!"

She said skipping around Azami, "M-Mistress!" She said her eyes sparkling as she looked at the Doctor. "Can we please have it I want to eat a Myriad Truth~" She said the last part slightly sadistically her voice a bit deeper but mostly due to her Excitement at trying a new fish. This girl Either had no idea who/what a myriad Truth was, or she was very good at masking her knowledge/actions, Though it seemed to be the former.

If Azami had one thing to her advantage though a unknown fact to her. Felice was a master at deceivery. Seduction. And most importantly, Lying. So much so and so well believable, she believes it as well and takes on the Lie as if it were her truth. A truly dangerous feature of a Cat, feinting trust to steal your food.

To Richards Second Question

Felice suddenly stopped and looked at Richard her gaze seemingly cold before a bright smile spreads across her face. "Felice was a beggar before mistress. saved me from the streets..... After I escaped that meanie scientist! People say Thief's are meanies but one gave me a coin purse from a rich man when I was a lil one~" She said her voice like velvet not a hit of hesitation as if the blabbermouth was telling her Full truth, Easily adapting to the edit from Azami about the Scientist.

Richard was speechless. "Uh..." he said without coming up with a response. He then cleared his throat. "Apologies, Felice. I assumed you knew something. Guess I was wro-" He then thought about something. He wasn't sure about this, but if it meant he would get somewhere because of it, then he would try it. "Um, one more question." He was a little hesitant since he was also wasting Lady Azami's time. But he had to know. "What knowledge do you have of the Thieves Guild? Anything about it is fine." Richard is definitely taking big leaps of faith, and huge risks. But if he was going to get some form of the truth out of this woman, he would have to ask the right questions. And not the ones that he should be asking. They should be questions that lead to her blabbing out something honest. But, he would have time to get info out of her another time. Why does the air feel different? Maybe it's because of her presence. Had she stayed hidden, we would have not noticed anything. But, even then, the air felt strange, even when her presence wasn't known. Who, or what, could Felice actually be? I guess I'll have to find out soon enough.
