Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Twilight

I just thought in term of deck use this could be used in something intresting grave controled D.D. Lightsworn where if you go with dark, it means you can revive your suvivors and Scout Planes for either attack swarm or various Xyz's, I don't how it will work but it is a possible idea if it works.

It's a good card that rewards skillful play. I like it. People wouldn't be saying the card is shitty if the gamestate wasn't so fucked up.

Yes they would.

It's a card that takes more dedication than it's worth for a steep drawback.

should've been:

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned by having the same number of LIGHT and DARK monsters in your Graveyard and banishing 2 monster of one of those attributes. While face-up on the field, this card is also treated as LIGHT-attribute. When Special Summoned, you can activate the effect corresponding to the attribute of the monsters banished to summon this card. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this effect.

LIGHT: Banish one monster on the field.

DARK: Banish one random card from your opponent's hand face-down.

Then it would've been a bit more okay...

because "All" is excessive unless konami have this idea of minimizing the grave of 1 of each Dark and Light with certain cards.

This could be an interesting idea for a card-making project at this forum, but depending how it's done, it might or might not work out.

With currently existing cards, I'm not seeing it yet.

Scout Planes are not something you'd run without something that could constantly banish them. Odds are, if you are running Scout Planes, you are focusing on Macro or D.D. Fissure, so the deck is not exactly optimal to allow this card's conditions to exist in the Graveyard.

I think these could have been BLS's actual conditions back in the day. It'd be good for flavor, needs you to get balance, but since it's "Chaos" related, it disrupts that balance by banishing 1 Attribute. It probably still wouldn't justify BLS being a thing back in the day at all, but it'd be something, I guess.

I bet they will...then Stephanie Meyer (or whatever her name is) is going to call Copyright.

Hasbro never called Copyright when Konami made Elephun, which is the most blatant reference to Elefun the Elephant that it isn't even trying to hide the reference.
