DL
So I had a rather interesting dream. There was this house with some kids and some teens living there or at least hanging out there. They were waiting for something big to happen. To see something in the sky. (kinda like the Aurora Borealis I guess) I saw a slowly moving-back image of the kids standing, and they would slowly disappear. This would signify that they had left the house, having gotten sick of waiting. At one point there were only 2 girls, and one of those had short red hair (she was respected among them, and was like...one of the leaders) there was another leader, who had yellow hair in a ponytail. Anyway, at one point, even the girl with short hair stopped coming. I think there was a special reason but I'm not quite sure what it was. Only a few kids were left, and they actually DID see an Aurora Borealis in the end, but the redhaired girl had missed out on it. The dream then put me back in time, as one of the kids (before, I was a spectator) and I was in that house, coexisting with the girl, the blond guy, and some other kids. The kids were out, and the yellow-haired guy was coming back to the house with some food. The house had a big window in the front, so I could ee him clearly coming, and it had a secret entrance in the back. However, I somehow knew that this was the moment where one of them would tell the other they are leaving. So I was waiting, tense....and suddenly my alarm clock woke me up. Not interesting as in wild or fantastic...just....interesting. At least to me. it was kinda sad to see those kids disappear one by one.
Aix
I had a dream once where I was a little kid, maybe 8-12 range not sure, and I was in a survival game with other kids that age taking place inside my house. I refused to kill and instead went around knocking all the other people out by hitting them over the head with a frying pan. I don't remember how the dream ended. Night
I have the exact same dreams. Almost every single one of my dreams starts out with me spectating a person in a vast open world that my mind created. The odd thing is that there is never any conflict in my dreams, no interactions, no climax, no resolution, literally nothing but an abstract world with the hint of purpose but nothing ever happens. I never recall the dream when I wake up, but the second I open up my sketch book or a design program, I immediately envision the world in my head and I begin to mindlessly draw. Example: 1 / 2 Strange things, dreams.
Shradow
I've been keeping a dream journal, and I've had a couple really weird ones. All of these are just copied out of my dream journal, which were written shortly after I woke up, so sorry if the writing is a bit pants:
I travel to a post-apocalyptic future. China took over the world and really messed it up. There are strange alien anomalies everywhere, and zombies. I group up with abunch of people, with the group constantly changing. People in the group included my friend Chris Lui, Jesse and Walter from Breaking Bad, Rachel from Friends, and Barbara of Rooster Teeth. At one point we found safe haven inside this multi-storied mall. We had to kill abunch of zombies on an upper floor for safety, so Barbara put on Samus’s power suit and went to go fight them. Before she could, she was interrupted twice, once by this dragon. It scared her, so she killed it, but it turns out it was just some genetically engineered creature made by abunch of nerds to use for larping. Then she was interrupted by Barry the Chopper who she had to beat in a sword fight.

I’m in a strange world that’s a mix of fantasy and Breaking Bad. My life is somehow linked to Walter White’s, so that when he dies of his cancer, I’ll die. At one point some mystical battle must occur between mythical and fictional people, and a gathering happens for a tournament. People such as Odin, Hades, Santa Claus, and Daenerys Targaryen. Close to time before the tournament starts, Walter and I die. We instantly pop into existence as ghosts, and I ask Hades if we can still watch as ghosts, and he allows it. Also, sometime during the dream I found the gerbil cage in my room completely filled with 83 gerbils, which I had to delete, like they were units in a video game. Hades asks me what level I was before I died, and I answered, “20, maybe 21.” However, I had awoken upon saying that, and said it out loud, at which point I explained my dream to my sister Naomi.

I’m a new servant in this large household. During my first night, I need to use the bathroom. I find myself in what is not only a bathroom, but a large basement spa and food court area. At one point I help this masseuse with this “meteor massage” that utilizes meteor dust. Upon finishing, odd blood splatters began to appear on the man I had just massaged. I looked around, and I had scars and blood on me as well, and blood was appearing all over the room and on everyone as well. The room became dark and a strange rumbling occurred. Everyone went into a panic as large dogs began appearing and trying to attack people. We all escaped while Scott from Teen Wolf fought the dogs off, and Alison from Teen Wolf drew him a skull picture in remembrance of his sacrifice. Upon leaving the room, all the blood and scars that had appeared were gone.
Also, I've noticed a pattern in my dreams that I often utilize to make them lucid, and that is that often times whatever setting I'm in with whatever group of people, sometimes the world will interrupt with me playing a video game with said people. For instance, once I had a dream with the Avengers, and all of a sudden the dream cuts to us playing TF2, and then back to the dream. I'm reminded of the crazy awesome dream Burnie talked about on the RT Podcast, as well. They made an Animated Adventure of it, though it cuts some parts out so you'd have to watch/listen to that podcast episode to hear it all: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUaqUTP2L4k https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPNdRA9pzuo

Example: 1 / 2 Strange things, dreams.Just saying, those are two of my favourite things you've done. So dream more.I don't really dream a lot (or don't remember many of them). Most of my inspirations come after I've woken up, in the morning after a good cup of tea. The most notable dream I've had was recurring when I was about 12. Felt like was endlessly falling into a random spiral of just B/W psychadelic crap. I'm not sure what that says about me.
Shradow
Also, I've only ever had one dream that I would call a real nightmare (I was one of the three little pigs, and our brick home was beset on by the big bad wolf during a thunderstorm at night.), but I occasionally have dreams where just really inconvenient things happen to me. Not anything life threatening or scary, just things that ruin your afternoon, like forgetting about a test, or getting to work late.

Βyakuya
I once had a dream where I was forced to watch television with my little brother, and the only available channel was a show that involved the torture and murder of a lot of people. Saw a lot of macabre imagery such as people being severely impaled or being distorted...apparently I was the only one who freaked out as the dream was way too explicit. Thar
I tend to have a series of recurring elements in my dreams: Driving terribly and getting chased by cops Falling/driving off a cliff Bees swarming after me A cat dying My high school friends still being my friends (even though they regret knowing me now) A beast-like entity appearing out of a dark area A cabin on a lake (complete with a boat ride) Me not wearing pants (or underpants) ...seriously, I've been writing this sh*t down. Besides those running gags, my dreams make no sense whatsoever. One of my most memorable dreams is of me going down a waterslide with no water, and on the way down, ingredients for a sandwich came out of the walls. By the time I reached the bottom, I was holding a f*cking ham and cheese sandwich with basically everything on it... and it was DELICIOUS. Right afterwards I found myself in a kiddie pool of cheese with a living Triceratops made of swiss that served colored muffins on a silver platter. Like... my wildest DAYDREAMS aren't even that spontaneous.
Simping For Hina
Lucid Dreaming is the shite. I actually have a weird thing that still is with me from when I was younger. I turned anything I saw into an idea that transpired to a dream. If you guys know of the Digimon Movie, that is probably the best way to explain it. I stared into the sun imagining myself flying through this vortex, like how Tai did in the movie, when he was in the internet. There were all of these paths I could choose to where I wanted to go and what I wanted to see, and also where my dreams were held in the past. I got to be able to just decide what I wanted my dream to be, but I always start out my dreams in that particular format where I an transcending through a constant vortex. I got to be able to relive a lot of my dreams this way, and I also got to keep them going the next time if I end up waking up right before the good part. But, this also is a pain because each "portal" shows flashbacks of the dreams or what they are, so I get to see glimpses of my nightmares from dreaming's past. I don't know if I can explain it any other way...
Cherz
After finishing angle beats, I had a dream about it. Its taken out of story and everything, but Naoi is trying to make Yuri disappear by turning all her friends against her. It was very interesting to watch pan out. I kinda felt kinda bad watching Otanashi being an asshole to her though.
Airride
I very rarely have dreams. When I do, it's usually really weird or fearful in its own way. Four that I distinctly remember are... When I was like...6, It was night, I was walking through the upstairs are to the bathroom, and when I got there, it was more like a small hallway with a sink, and at the end, around a corner, instead of a toilet there was an Operation (The game) board that buzzed really loud when I saw it and then I woke up. Around the start of school this year I had an...experience. I was looking/moving up, following a very tall and majestic, double helix, very radiant and light blue tower-esque structure, with a white, yet cloudy sky, with various things floating around the tower, with something that was apparently my soul being encased inside one part of it. It was...interesting. Very Recently, I had a dream that a bunch of robots similar to my dad were chasing me around in a giant box room, with 3 levels of catwalks with 3 elevators that lead to all 3+The ground on 2 adjacent sides. I was running from the robots, going up and down the elevators until most of them were on the side I was on, so I went to the ground level, running to the other side with the catwalks, though I had been on the farthest elevator. I almost made, it before one of the robots caught up to me, catching me, started beeping loudly, and I woke up. My Most recent, and possibly memorable dream, and possibly my longest lasted is as follows:
(This all takes place in the 3rd person) I'm at a College-sized version of my high school, with 5 floors or so. I'm a more "Ideal" version of myself, at this point. I meet a rather handsome looking dude at some point who looks similar to me now, but much more well-kept, attractive, and so forth. He wears a necklace with a fair-sized emerald laced with gold (This is important). We start talking, and become friends. After a while, he begins asking me to meet him in...rather normal areas, surprisingly. I always happen to get there using an unconventional, yet faster way than him. Each time he seems to go from confused, to bothered, to annoyed, to angry at me for using these paths, but otherwise he's still friendly, cheerful, and whatnot. At one point, he asks me to meet him at the very top floor of the school, near a balcony and behind a clock-tower esque clock that's on one of the sides of the building. He comes in with...some sort of tool, or weapon, strapped to his back. I can;t quite make it out. He begins to confront me about my "Suspicious Activity" (Especially my paths to getting places), and we start to get into a bit of an argument about it, and some other stuff. It eventually dies down, and I go to look over the balcony nearby, overlooking every floor of the building, with the ground floor having a starburst design on it. After a minute or so, I get impaled, through the heart, by something, though no blood comes out, and I don't seem phased, though a bit startled, and something blunt hits me on my head, and I'm kicked over the edge, slamming against the middle of the starburst, which faintly glows for a moment before I pass out. While I'm passed out, my friend jumps down, from the top floor, holding a sword of some sort. I wake up as he lands, and the glow from the starburst disappears, and the colors of the design dull. He picks up something near me, tinkers around with it a bit, then hands me a necklace with a large, light blue gem, laced in gold on it. I get up, with a noticeable hole through my left breast (Where my heart WOULD be), and my clothes are quickly mended by a magical force from...my friend. He hands me the necklace, uttering 3 words. "Here's your heart." After this I'm given some training with bladed tonfas, given the ins and outs of being a ~Magical Guy~, and other boring stuff that I can't remember too well. Keep in mind this dream was 1 and a half f***ing hours long. I condensed a LOT of it, and I can't even remember a lot of it. I just really don't get how or why this dream occurred, but I don't care too much because it was actually kind of fun as f*** to watch pan out, and it's given me ideas to do things with later.
Shradow
One thing with my dreams is that they can be heavily influenced by whatever's going on just outside them. For instance, just now I feel asleep on the couch in one of my dorm rooms, and my friends watched Frozen. A large part of my current dream at the time turned into Frozen, with character's names, actions, and voices in my dream taking on those of whatever part of the movie they were at at the time. Maeriberii Haan
Well, my notable dreams are either me turning up in the world of some fiction I had contact with earlier on (which almost ends badly), or me climbing an infinite amount of stairs or anything with infinite amount. Though lately I've been dreaming of browsing YCM way too much.

Kyng
I had a dream where Kyng took over YCM because he's the kyng....and that is going in my signature for a while.Anyway, I mostly have dreams that'd be inappropriate for discussion, but I've actually had a lucid dream once. Anyone had one of those? In case ya don't know, they're dreams in which you're aware that you're in a dream. They're fun.
Fusion X. Denver
Right before break, I had a series of detailed dreams that were strange. One took place in an open mansion based on ruins with passageways, another was a giant rec plex that served as a haven during a zombie apocalypse, it was weird. Just the other night, I was about to court this girl from high school and I realized I was dreaming. But as soon as I did, she vanished and then I woke up. Sadness. Blake
I had a dream last week that somehow led to my dad coming out of the garage of the house I grew up in and strangling me, as I am now. He stopped, I went out front to call to be picked up, he came outside, gave a joker smile, doused me in lighter fluid... And the dream ended. WELL JUST ONE NORE REASON TO AVOID HIM
cr47t
Ive had a lot of dreams, and I don't remember all of them but here are some I do remember. I have organized them kinda like Shradow did, using spoilers. [spoiler:"Dream 1"] The War --- I remember something about finding a world or a place with some aliens, some looking similar to the one found in the WondLa series. (Its a book series, you probably haven't read it.) Then some other people found them, thought they were hostile or something, and next thing I knew there was fighting between the two. I think I remember the people starting a war on the aliens, but I don't remember much because I, well, dreamed this dream a while ago.
[spoiler:"Dream 2"] The Scanner (also named lugia.dna) (I made both those names myself) --- This is a more recent one than The War, and is the second most recent one I remember via posting this post. It happened last week on Saturday-Sunday, but for some strange reason I kindaremember even less of this one than The War. But I remember something having to do with a DNA scanner, and I think I remember the scanner identifying me as the Pokémon Lugia after scanning me, even though in the dream I was me, the person I`ve almost always known myself to be. Comment on The Scanner: Yeah, it`s odd or stuff like that, but it`s interesting to me because I myself started playing Pokémon SoulSilver last March. And my dreams can be pretty odd at times, take The War (#1) for example.
[spoiler:"Dream 3"] The Big Adventure of Multiple Forms (Abbreviation: TBAoMF) --- I just had this dream last night (4/19/14 - 4/20/14). If you did not read or understand The Scanner (the one above this one), please don't read this one. This is why I put an extra spoiler/show-hide-feature below, the actual dream details are in the spoiler/show-hide-feature below.
The parts of the dream I remember I have divided into 2-3 parts, each one happening after the last. In Parts 1 and 3 I was myself, the person I almost always knew myself as. In part 1 I don't remember where I was, but I remember in Part 3 there was something about a ship (kinda like a cruise ship) at a dock. In Part 2 I was at sea/ocean, both on the surface on the sea and maybe above it. But what is odd about Part 2 is that in this part of the dream I (kinda???) was actually Lugia, body and all. In Part 1 I don't remember if it was in 1st or 3rd person, but Parts 2 and 3 I`m sure were in 1st person. Another thing, this is the only dream I remember so far that I dreamed after The Scanner, but they are both kinda similar, in some way I don't know how to explain. Does anyone have any ideas why that is, or if any of these dreams could mean anything?

And as for the dreams you guys posted, they`re all interesting, especially DL`s one in the OP.

Jokes aside, anyone tried Astral Projection? And no, this isn't inspired by "Insidious" in anyway. I've tried it before watching insidious. It's legit. Anyone who's not afraid to be alone for sometime should try it. You'll get scared and you'll definitely wake up shaking but it's worth it. You get to do all kind of things. Some dreams are symbolic—this really depends if you believe in dream interpretation or not, I know I do—and they mean certain things. Sometimes dreams tell you about your state of mind. I know that my dreams for two weeks had a lot of depression in them because I was stressed out of my mind. They feel so real. I tend to remember the most symbolic ones or the most symbolic parts of the dreams; the rest seem to fade away.
Zauls
Dreams are very odd things. They are really just your subconscious being all strange and symbolic and the dreams it creates can be to do with either how you feel or something you experienced/noticed or was in your environment in times of recent. Sometimes it is things that were there but that you didn't notice consciously, so your subconscious exaggerates it in your dreams. It could even be something you were merely thinking about that influences your dreams. Nobody really knows why though. The human mind is actually extremely powerful but we can only use about 3-4% of it at one time consciously. I personally do not dream. At all. I used to dream a fair amount but I've not had one for absolutely ages. I remember some dreams I had when I was a really small kid though and thought they were actually true. I thought for ages that I knew how to fly because it felt so real in my dreams. I actually felt like I was floating and I felt I could control it. I also remember having a dream of dying in the middle of my school playground and my soul (who's perspective I was looking from) started rising up to heaven but then I decided when I was a few hundred feet up that heaven was too high up and I got scared and fell back down into my body and came back to life. I could even see my dead body lying on the floor when I was floating upwards...
