They announced that we're having 4 banlists a year starting from January 2014 so yeah. It's one every 3 months by that. For the OCG, they have 3 banlists a year iirc.

Oh I was pretty sure it was the TCG that had it every 4 months and OCG every 3 months unless they changed this.

W Nebula Meteorite is an overpowered card, doesn't make Worms Tier 1.
By the logic I'm hearing any card that makes a mediocre deck especially good should be banned.

But hey, I'm just going to quit while I'm behind. I don't care enough for Heros to argue.

W Nebula Meteorite also doesn't make FTKs possible. J/S

Also, Sylvans might become a thing soon, will we see anything here to boost/contain them?

Well Konami tends to try and push new Archetypes so they can sell packs, so bringing Bulb back to 1 isn't unthinkable (for them). I personally think it would be a dreadful idea but hey, its Konami.

He is probably most usable to his full potential in Heros though.

Aside from that, I'd quite like rekindling to not be banned, maybe semi-limited but not beyond that. It wouldn't just damage an archetype, it would hurt practically every fire-deck in existence.

Rekindling should be banned. Mass summoning is always degenerate and it actually has a strong influence in the meta now. If those decks only exist because of Rekindling, then they shouldn't exist at all.

You are hypothesizing that it will be banned though, right? Although the card doesn't promote player interaction or a great deal of fairness, I don't see it being banned because it would hurt too many decks that Konami have been pushing, and just the attribute in general. Although it is a very good card, Light and Dark decks (for example) have far more varied support options. In the absence of numerous smaller fire support cards, I think the presence of rekindling is a fair balance.

May I ask what exactly those decks are? The only one I can think of would be Hazy Flames, and even then..

Well as far as new cards go, Hazy Flames are the only immediate ones, but Kings/Fists are both doing very well, and not limiting wolfbark or tenki is a push to those archetypes in itself.

Banning Rekindling would pretty much invalidate Hazy Flames, make Fire Fists/Kings less potent, lavals unplayable...

Since a lot of these decks work from the graveyard, banning one of the only cards they have that retrieves monsters from the Graveyard is a big kick in the teeth.

But the question is: Do these decks truly deserve to have that option? Because Kings and Fists can run perfectly fine without Rekindling, they just lose a big degenerate factor that made them a huge deck. Lavals don't even deserve to exist, just like how Gishki don't. They're only used for doing degenerate stuff as their sole purpose and that's it. Hazy Flames can still function without the option of Rekindling being there, so that's also perfectly fine.

Also I don't think you exactly know what push means. Push means that Konami wants them to do well, mainly because a set of cards is new and that would mean that sales go up. As a result, Konami are not pushing 3 of the 4 archetypes you mentioned. Fists, Kings and Lavals have all had their product cycle finished, meaning that Konami cannot make any more profit off of them 9/10 so it's time to begin fixing them. So really, Hazy Flames is the only immediate archetype they're attempting to push that utilizes Rekindling. There's nothing wrong with hitting Rekindling now.
