April 2014 Banlist Speculation Thread

Recommended Posts

BANNING JD before new Lightsworns come out? Konami is a profit-making major company, they have their own interests at heart, not ours...

I think that would push the new ones in by giving them a legit boss monster that isn't JD. Banning may be a bit heavy for sales, but would force them to play these new, not so broken ones.

While I agree Shapesnatch needs to be nerfed, I'll still be happy as long as they ban the oh-so splashable Happy Lover.

I don't personally care if Mermails get hit since I never usually have any problems against them, but I can see how ridiculous they are all the same.

Would still much rather fight Mermails than Madolches or Bujins though...

the fact that full house and malevolent are being played lightly, tells me that people can backrow wipe just fine when they want to commit space to it.

as much as it may surprise you, but I'm expecting to see upstart goblin going to 2 or 1.

they have been in a ton of topping decks for no other reason than to reduce deck size,

reckless greed in most decks is meant to super charge the hand for combos, and if those fail they are generally at a huge disadvantage from failed partial combo plays , so it ends the game one way or another. it may go to 2 from it being played more often, and since both of these cards aren't in printed sets at the moment, they also are not making konami money, which is again, one of their criteria for limiting and banning old cards.

How is the area code in Poland?
And how does that automatically make this a fake?

.pl is the polish website ending, signifying it's from Poland. As a result, we can deduce that the site isn't the official site and is just a fan site because Konami's TCG division is based in America and, as a result, has the url of yugioh.com or something of the sort.

But couldn't this be the Polish-language version of yugioh.com?

Well, if I'm the only one who believed in the banlist (I've been trolling for the past half-a-page or so), it must not be very successful.

you and a thousand other people who are ordering their sinister serpents, prob from a polish site too who stocked up on them and made that other site LOL
