That doesn't mean anything.

In a Graveyard-centric format, which is all of them, you typically want to be able to banish your opponent's card rather than sending them to the Graveyard to prevent stupid combos. Needle Worm does what it's supposed to, it's just not exactly a great card right now.

It was a joke. That's the best case scenario for the guy getting wormed. This guy majorly screws with people....needles all up their butt.

but...but...if you put Ghostricks in an empty jar it isn't empty anymore....

see?

It's still pretty empty.

OT: This form of victory could have been pretty nice if executed properly, but instead, we have More-Thing Jar who wants to be read bedtime story after bedtime story, and that isn't very interactive with your opponent at all. I'd like the idea of Decks having different win conditions than the norm, it's just that they either suck or are stupid.

You see....empty means not having anything in it. Having something in it automatically makes this as far from empty as possible.

It's still pretty close since Yugimonz cards have very little depth. But if you want to be technical, then taking out the Ghostbrick Skeletors won't make the jar empty; it's full of air.

And Empty Jar isn't "fine." It's a Deck where one player goes through a ton of books so a jar monster can be weird and unable to decide whether to be face-up or face down, and then your opponent has no more cards in the Deck. Even if you can't fling your opponent's Deck away, you still mess up their hand (albeit they get more cards, but you do too). Worm is just more direct since they can't get anything new out of it, but at the same time, you aren't draw-5'ing into more Books of Taiyou/Moon/Eclipse.

=P

It would be neat to see though, but I think Empty Jar is fine (as it can be) as is.

Then there's no such thing as an empty jar unless you find a vacuum space that doesn't destroy the jar.

Conclusion: Empty Jar is a lie-*shot*

OT:
The card was legit back when the world was slow and simple.

I don't think there is a way for this to be good as a solid independent choice ever again.

It'll either drift towards "It sucks" or "OTK".

Any in-between is but a dream within a dream from something that most (if not all) mortal eyes think they are enlightened enough to grasp and obtain. In reality, they are all naive when thinking they posses the wisdom and power given by Crom since the ancient times, to decipher the riddle and witness the day Needle Worm triumphs it's losing war against the ever-growing forces that overwhelm them and throw them into the abyss underground.

. . . . or something like that.....

Nothing is empty.

Atoms exist.

Air exists

Molecules exist

The Light passing through the jar exists

Except a jar can only truly be empty in a perfect vacuum. :P

OT: the problem is it's a flip effect monster, which means it's really only viable in Empty Jar, and we all know why that deck is dumb. Why does Konami refuse to make a decent alternate win-con that isn't solitaire?
