What advice would you give yourself?

this thread is pointless like what advice would you give yourself, more like what should i change in your life.

"pay more attention to class", "be more sociable" this is not an advice you should give yourself, this is literally something you could start doing tomorrow if you wanted to.

If I could go back, I would tell myself to not listen to any future me who might've show up before me to give advice.

All of the hurt I put myself through paid off in the end. Sure, I was suicidal and almost a few days away from it, but it worked out.

Except I would tell myself to get into Art earlier though. Trying to get into it now is like punching myself. Would've been nice to get a head start.

"Matt.

Do the sensible thing.

Leave this site.

Don't come back."

...

I must say this to myself on a daily basis. Someone's gotta be able to do it someday.

Dunno if it applies to this thread, but the Wing Chun mantra my instructor once mentioned of "Do no harm. Take no s***" is also nice and can apply in general.

If I could go back in time and have a conversation with myself, i'd tell myself to not be a complete dumbass.

I slacked off in high school and barely passed Senior Year with a 2.3 GPA. I'm smarter than that, however I just slacked off so much that I couldn't recover. I've made many mistakes in my life. Some minor (like wearing some "revealing" sweat pants one time in middle school) to major ones (Never doing my Summer Reading Projects in all 4 years of high school, thus killing my English grade.) Some mistakes are unavoidable. The ones I made aren't. I would tell myself to take better care of myself and my family, form a better relationship with my step dad, and most of all, go to college ASAP.
