~Faytl~
Cannot be Special Summoned. Must be Normal Summoned/Set by Tributing 3 "Qliphort" monsters. This Normal Summoned/Set monster is unaffected by Spell/Trap effects and the activated effects of monsters whose original Levels or Ranks are lower than this card's Level. All Special Summoned monsters on the field lose 500 ATK and DEF. Once per turn: You can make your opponent send 1 monster from their side of the field or in their hand to the Graveyard (for no effect). So I keep hearing how nobody uses this card and how a lot of people think it's really bad. I'm a bit puzzled as to why; Sure, it weakens your own Pendulum Summoned Qliphorts, and you need 3 monsters for it, but I've found while playing the deck that it's stupidly easy to get this guy out and it's generally pretty hard for my opponents to get around it, and the fact that your Qliphorts activate off it's summoning helps. Is it because it weakens your own stuff? Is it because it's winmoar? Discuss?
goddamnit names are a pain
Its bad because its winmoar and horribly clogs. Like, really god dang awfully clogs. And they don't NEED it to win, thus making it pretty much just winmoar squared.
a bad post
Its bad because its winmoar and horribly clogs. Like, really god dang awfully clogs. I mean I run one because I really love his/her/its? art, but it's basically a dead draw and Qliphs can win much easier without this. I can see why people think its so great, but it's not worth the effort when the deck has a million and one other better plays it could make. Wizarus
You don't clog if you draw Shell, and if you don't draw Shell, you auto-lose anyway. I can see it being win-moar but not cloggy.

And it clogs because it's a slot wasted on a card that doesn't aid you in any way until you're in a good position, effectively being the worst draw in the deck.So in a format where you start 5 and have to hit Tool, it's a dead draw that is effectively a blank card in your opening hand/whenever you draw it exept late late game.Meanwhile, you could run another copy of any other Qliphort/bakrow/deck thinning card to help you hit tool faster instead of just running a card that is a -1 to draw in almost every situation. Trebuchet MS
In a mirror match: Opponent: "I got Killer first, that means I win, right?" The turn after he summons it, I run over it with a 3100 ATK Q-Shell. Also, Killer becomes near-dead weight against Shaddolls. No surprises why Shekinaga happened afterwards. It was late, I meant Tool. And you can say that about any card that doesn't help you get to Tool faster. I already admitted it was win-moar. 玄魔の王
This seems to be the general opinion ...My poor cat... OT: I tried this thing out at 1 to see how it impacted the deck. It wasn't awful, but kinda lacklustre. Then I took it out, and it got way better. So yeah, this is not value-added.
Goose
Can we take this moment to appreciate how bad a term "win-more" is and how fucking dumb we are all for using it?
Rodrigo
Can we take this moment to appreciate how bad a term "win-more" is and how f***ing dumb we are all for using it? Especially when it is said "winmoar".
CLG Klavier
"Winmoar" is being l33t on purpose and being l33t isn't cool anymore. Win-more as a term is ok and needed, though I prefer "overkill".
Goose
Win more as a term isn't okay. OF COURSE YOU WANT TO WIN MORE. WINNING IS THE FUCKING GOAL OF THE GAME. Overkill is a wonderful term, and situational is good, as is unnecessary. Win more is the worst term we use because it implies that running the card makes you win less qq
CLG Klavier
Context is the same, but that's why I prefer overkill. Overkill implies that while this is good, it's TOO MUCH. Win-more is...eh. Apoqliphort Overkiller hue
Lonk
You know, there's no kill like Overkill. Overkill is always awesome, even if it can be impractical at times.
CLG Klavier
As much as I'm pro-overkill in most of games, card games are...different. If you can overkill without sacrificing consistency, be my guest. But if a possibility of overkill makes your deck run, say, 1% worse, it's not worth. Goose
I agree that overkill is fun a lot of the time, but when it comes to competitive play and overkill detracts from consistency then overkill doesn't have room to exist.
Marco Polo
Killer is amazing. Qliphoths without killer have a harder match, with backrow fear, with killer, they don't. if you surround your goal at getting killer to the field, it doesn't feel like a dead draw, and is in no way a burden, your match becomes more stable. killer is an easier win goal, that is all. Slinky
well to be fair. Bottomless really fucks up your day. But that would happen regardless if you had killer or not. And if you are really scared of backrow, its best to run this instead of nuking your field.
Marco Polo
Tell me why this deck is afraid backrow again? No we don't go again. you're iritating on purpose and I'm not talking to you for the sake of the energy I'll most likely spend trying to convince you, an easy power pillar like apoq is better than a group of shells who have no idea what's going to stop them next. apoq is not anyway slow, and guarantees a definite advantage, which is important since one backrow fuck up & change the outcome of the game, despite how easily qliphs rebuild their advantage. I'm playing it, I've played both, that's what I had to say and here I'll cut out since you're obviously all so clever with your memes.
CLG Klavier
Even though I'm clever with my memes (thank you), I have some reasoning behind my logic. Killer is a dead card until you can drop it, TOTALLY dead since it's not a Pendulum unlike every other Qliphort out there, so drawing it is basically losing a card in the early game, when you gotta set yourself up and get rolling. Deck also has Archive (or Genome?) to destroy spells and traps pretty much every damn turn, plus you should be running MSTs to hit singletons/continuous stuff. Also, deck's not very scared of any backrow aside like BTH and D-Prison because reminder, dead Pendulums go BACK TO EXTRA DECK, so all stuff like Torrential does is delay you a turn. Your logic seems to constantly be "Killer is untouchable". Alright, he is, but you don't NEED it to win, and it SLOWS YOU DOWN, so he's NOT WORTH IT. I can't force you to not play it, be my guest, but just so you know. And if one backrow f***s up your entire game than something must be wrong either with you, or your deck. Or both. Oh mind posting your Qliphorth build? Because I have this gut feeling that you lose to backrow simply because your deck is bad, not due to lack of Killer. And notice how Killer protects only HIMSELF from backrow. You talk as if it was a global effect.
