Virglin, Rockstar of the Burning AByss
Level 6
1 Tuner monster + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

You can only control one "Virglin, Rockstar of the Burning Abyss" once per turn you can discard "Burning Abyss monster to target one card your opponent controls or in their graveyard; shuffle it into the deck. If this card is destroyed by battle or card effect and sent to the graveyard: you can draw 1 card. You can only use this effect of "Virgil, Rockstar of the Burning Abyss" once per turn

From a leak ARG put up.

If I recall correctly, Burning Abyss cards activate their effects when sent to the Graveyard by any means, costs included? Then this thing could be really good. It will depend on the Tuners, and I assume there will be a Burning Abyss Tuner, since most Burning Abyss kill themselves if you control non-Burning Abyss monsters.

I take it that Virgil is probably Spellcaster Dyson.

Boy howdy, I was praying to Konami for a decent Level/Rank 3 archtype, and they not only plonked down that, but excellent fuel for Astral Force and now even Synchro aid as well. It's like my birthday, easter and christmas are all on the same day.

I didn't expect for Burning Abyss to jump to Synchros, I suppose I can expect it to go for Fusions down the road as well? because fusing them would just trigger them off for a +0, even just using good old Polymerization, and without taking the potential effect of the boss itself into account.

This Synchro gives me an air of what T.G. Synchros intended to be for their deck, but the nature of Burning Abyss lets it function more properly.

Damn though, I was able to get Dante because the deck wasn't "good" at the time, but now everyone knows their power and the price tag won't be kind on this, I might not be able to keep up with the deck's releases at all.

Crane Crane is suddenly going to be more than 1-of.

Revive the tuner for some crazy shenanigans.

IDK, I find it pretty hard to draw into as is. I think Crane would probably need a searcher, much like how Tour Guide has in order to work properly as more than a tech.

Crane Crane is a wonderful card, even if you can't search it. It's never really dead since you will most likely always have on in your Graveyard. It's even better now because it unlike Tour Guide, still allows Synchro Summons.

Summon Tour Guide -> Grab BA monster -> Swap Guide for Birdman -> Make This-

WAIT A MINUTE...

Here's a weird thought... What if the BA Tuner is another Birdman? I mean, for all intensive purposes, BAs are just Tour Guide.dek, so having something that can recycle Guide some more would be an ideal thing.

....If we use Konami logic, of course.

Tour Guide can be used as a synchro material, the BA it summons can't. So you'll need to birdman the BA monster, which is fine, because it sets up this cards effect anyway.
