Rock/Fusion/Effect

"Gem-Knight Lapis" + 1 "Gem-Knight" monster
Must first be Fusion Summoned with the above Fusion Material Monsters. Once per turn: You can send 1 "Gem-Knight" monster from your Deck or Extra Deck to the Graveyard, and if you do, inflict ?00 damage to your opponent for each Special Summoned monster on the field. You can only Special Summon "Gem-Knight Lady Lapislazuli" once per turn.

At least it doesn't require you to send duplicates of itself to the Graveyard just to burn opponent.

Since this card requires Lapis (which is a vanilla), assuming they're going to release it in this set as well; hmm. Either that or they remake Lapis as an effect monster; I doubt it though.

Depending on how much it can burn, RL version is either going to be good or meh-ish.

(At least anime one guaranteed 1300 damage on its own, 1200 from its base ATK and 100 for existing as an SS monster)

Tierra is already using the rest of the Gem-Knights in the form of Cairngorgorn, Egrystal, and the Qliphs, why not Lady too?

There are some similarities, but there isn't enough to prove that it is her. The differences are really huge (such as, actual mechanized clothing and half of the bottom part of it is missing).

If anything, I'd say Nephy IS NOT Lapislazuli herself, but IS somewhat based on her.

Depends on whether Lapis is any good. It could add something interesting to G-Ks, but for the most part, it looks like it's just a setup card that'll do very little burn. And if Lapis is a Normal monster, it depends in its Type and Level, since Rescue Rabbit used to be used (I think) for Lavalval Chain to send Fusion.

I like it can send from Deck or Extra Deck, because of Master Dia's effect involving the Level 7 or lower Fusions.

I'm guessing that you overlooked that its stats n junk were shown when you were watching episode 24. Lapis is a Normal monster, level 3, 1200/100

Nothing's really stopping Konami from changing it to an Effect Monster though.

Flavor.

All of the gem-Knights with a specific fusion are Normals.

They might make her a Gemini to bridge the gap, especially given that they didn't show her, but it's definitely iffy.

Apparantly, the amount of damage it does is 600 per SS'd monster.. that realllly adds up, really quickly. That is some heavy burn power there.

600? Bit of an unusual number to cap it at, but whatever. That means you could be doing 600 to 3000 damage per turn, with 1200 and 1800 being very likely, all while setting up Gem-Knight Fusion reccursions and Master Dia plays.

That's not bad. Might be worth running at just one, though, help push for game, especially because Lapis itself isn't looking to be anything special.

They did show her actually.

It counts the whole field. So a maximum of 6k.
