Finally! Woooooooooo!

 

That was some really bad timed switching and Roost predicting at the start ^^;

The last ditch T-Wave was a really good move there.

 

Using HP Fire against Scizor when Victini was shown to have Zen Headbutt and being a good switch in for that, was probably the big mistake here. Then saving Venu at so low HP to let Exca take damage.

Was a good battle though ^^

 

Yemachu is now out, at 2-2

 

And Rai must face...Spinda!

Some plays from my part could have been better, but yeah; its the reason some players are better than others. Good luck during the remainder of the tournament.

 

For those of you who are interested in the details of the sets I was running throughout the tournament, here they are. I'd like to hear any suggestions you might have to improve the team. The main "gimmick" of this team is to try to have an immunity to almost everything, while still using decent Pokemon... only issue is that my antipations aren't quite correct most of the time, as a result the immunities go to waste.

imo Leech Seed is really important to Mega-Venusaur.

And I think a slow Excadrill is really dangerous to have, honestly.

 

As to the battle (YAY FINALLY)

Poor Manaphy. Manaphy on a Sand team is unusual I can't lie.

Why did you switch Latios out when a second Draco would've taken down Hippo and made no Rocks happen?

I feel like this has been asked before, but I'm asking anyway. Lol.

 

What pokemon would you guys like to see yet a mega in the next game? What ability would it have? I'm just being curious.

 

I'd like a Mega Chatot with something that would make all his sound moves confuse the opponent. Or No Guard. No Guard works too. Sign shenanigans few.

I don't get it. Was your Zard physically defensive? Was like half your team physically defensive? O.o

That Giga Drain misclick is probably part of what got me, since only needed a small bit of extra damage.

 

I am now out, 3-2 once more, can't seem to ever break out of the funk anymore.

 

Waiting on Spinda vs Rai now.
