[spoiler=What's Showdown you ask?] (Okay you didn't ask but I guess I should explain anyway.) Well. This. This is Showdown http://play.pokemonshowdown.com/
Pokemon Showdown is basically a site you can go to, make teams of Pokemon and battle with people. Without the hassle of breeding and all that stuff. Simple as that.

 [spoiler=What are we gonna do here?] What's up with all the questions sheesh....Basically this was made on a whim. But what I want from it is a place to talk competitive battling, in relation to Showdown. Don't have to be tryhard or pro here at all though. If you want to talk about how you like using Little Cup Pokemon in Ubers go ahead.
Also a good place to ask for battles, post battles you've had, and probably we'll do some tournaments and junk.

Oh we already have 6, neat. Hey a full team... Gives me ideas.

First, favorite Pokemon? Sure. Maractus. Its design mostly. But it also gets a lot of cool moves. Sucker Punch, Spikes, Leech Seed, Knock Off, a lot of interesting things. Used it in PU and it scored quite a few surprise KOes.

 

I wonder...maybe we can choose a tier, and everyone tells their favorite Pokemon from that tier, and we each build a team with them and have a few matches against randoms and see how many wins we can get.

Yay, accepted! NU, good, more lower tiers. ^^ Oh hey Trap have you done PU yet? In my opinion it's like NU, but better.

And Ara too.

 

At the moment, my favorite OU 'mon is (M)-Altaria. Ridiculously versatile, and has so many damn resistances and effective immunities. Not to mention, it's fabulous as hell.

But seriously, it can fit many teams due to its versatility, and perform well in most of its roles.

 

I still haven't used any of the ORAS megas. But my first thought when I saw M-Altaria was that it was going to be able to fit into a lot of teams.

I figured M-Altaria would be Nai's choice.

 

Kay James I'll add you to the OP. ^^ NFE would be Little Cup I'd say. Mostly. Though not always seeing as things such as Gurdurr are higher tiers.

But Mudkip is for sure LC.

 

I would like to nominate one of my favortie pokemon, Spinda, since not many people use it for its horrible stats,but in the SSS, it will receive love.

Totally want to use a Contrary+Super Power (I think that's the one) Spinda sometime.
