Darj Posted January 15, 2015 Report Share Posted January 15, 2015 Opening this tournament to test an "Ideal banlist" that is being discussed in this thread.Rules - Single elimination matches; best of 3 duels. - No time limit. - Games should be played on DN. - DN format: OCG and TCG cards are allowed. The goal is to test current OCG archetypes such as Necloths and Ritual Beasts. - No Burn/Exodia/Stall/etc. decks. - You don't need to send decklists or screenshots. - The following banlist is in effect: [spoiler=]January TCG Banlist +Forbidden: Raigeki Snatch Steal Soul Charge Skill Drain Vanity's Emptiness Herald of the Arc Light Limited: Cir, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss Honest Qliphort Scout Scarm, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss Dark Hole Instant Fusion Preparation of Rites Shaddoll Fusion Summoner's Art Sinister Shadow Games Goyo Guardian Semi-Limited: Reinforcements of the Army[/spoiler] (The list is still subject to changes. If you think a card should be added or removed, it can be discussed before the tournament begins.) - Sign up by posting your YCM and DN usernames in this thread. - You have until next Monday (January 27th) to sign up; the tournament will begin afterwards. Well, a goal of the tournament is to test the banlist changes, and applying with Exodia/Burn/etc. decks wouldn't contribute to that. I wanted to secretly give it a bit more time just in case there were players interested in the last minute, but I guess it won't make the big difference so we may as well begin.
