For some reason, it reminds me Keiji Maeda.

While the effect is really interesting and something unique to say the least (and Murakumo is the only clan with duplicating that may abuse it very well), but I'm still not a fan of the idea. While there are some scenario where it helps a lot, but in most cases, you indeed will hurt yourself just to attack from the backrow.

Stride (Released when both players's vanguards are grade 3 or greater!)-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down.
[AUTO](VC):[Counter Blast (1)] When this unit attacks a vanguard, if you have a heart card with " Regalia" in its card name, you may pay the cost. If you do, for each of your heart cards, Soul Charge (3), choose a card from your damage zone, and turn it face up.

Well, it's something.

Actually think it's mediocre at best, it decks you out too fast and stops the deck from being able to play Quintets so they lower the density of Regalia.

I'll test it later, I mean it burns you through 9 cards so it's a one of at most, but it seems to be efficient for getting the soul stacked in the first place.

I'm not sure if people have realised it, but Upheaval finally gives Gear Chronicle somewhat of an identity as yet another clan that messes with rearguard centric decks. It'll be very hard for some of Gear Chronicle's harder matchups, like Aqua Force, to actually commit good cards to the board now, and that's actually huge. I think this might actually be the best Gear Chronicle Stride because of that, it almost gives Gear Chronicle a near reset button when they feel they are losing on the board. Probably one of the best cards shown in the Fighters Collection so far. Another friendly reminder that it also wipes Great Nature and to a lesser extent, Revenger and Liberator boards. Basically it's not very good to start anything with GB1 against Gear Chronicle now, and whilst I think Revenger has the easiest time getting it's starter back, it still puts them massively behind.

With any luck, the 2 GCs in this set will be dirt cheap so Budget Gears have a Stride lineup.

Even better is that Chronojet's Stride skill takes out a unit so Upheaval leaves the opponent with a worse field.

EDIT: I mean, forcing your opponent to call Grade 0s and 3s off the top is nuts. They can't check those Crits next turn nor guard with 10000s, and they can't discard the G3s for 1-card Strides either. Not using Chronojet's skill and hitting 5 cards with Pegasus could potentially screw them up further if they end up calling mostly G3s and 0s.

pls be cheap pegasus

And with that, that's all for the Fighter's Collection this year. Such an incredibly good set.

Nebula...

Why the hell are you the Seal Dragon Stride?!

As much as I would've liked a Deletor Stride, he more than made up for it. In tandem with Alter Ego, he's incredibly silly.

Really like all of these last guys, especially Vishnu who opens up more Race-specific skills in the future. The Bermuda is just perf and the Gold one is gonna be really good. I prefer the Kagero one over Mustafar too.
