Pendulum Effect:

Pendulum Effect:
(1) Once per turn: You can target 1 Xyz Monster you control and 1 Level 5 or higher monster you control; until the end of the turn, the rank of that Xyz Monster becomes the same number as the Level of that Level 5 or higher monster.
(2) If you control more cards than the opponent, the Scale of this card becomes 4.
Monster Effect:
(1) Your opponent takes no Battle Damage from battles involving this card.
(2) Once per turn: You can target 1 other monster on the field; until the end of the turn, the ATK of this card becomes equal to that monster’s ATK.

Creation:

I have a feeling that this will replace Timegazer, since it doesn't have that annoying activation condition. It's likely you will not control that many monsters if you are Pendulum Summoning, since you want to keep them in your hand so you can do so, so I don't think that it will be too much of a problem. It is also going to be interesting to see how the other effect works. As for the monster effect, it's interesting, you can either run into something, or use your Performapals to boost it so it can run over something. It's pretty odd, yet it could become useful should you ever want to Summon it. Level 4 is nice too.

 

Destruction:

I love the idea of making Xyz Monsters have Levels, even if it's just for an Xyz Summon. It's also nice that we have another Magician to use with the old ones, even if the Scale is just 3, though if you're planning on making Rank 7s, that should not really matter all too much. It's monster effect is random, it's nice that you can stop things like Construct with it, but other than that, I don't understand why they didn't give it another effect at the very least.

so they managed to make an effect that allow xyz monster to be used for normal xyz summon without changing the mechanic, neat

in addition creation monster effect is pretty good too since it can be NSed without worrying about bottomless, and can ram some floodgates like kristya/ritual summoned by djinn/ES winda and even killer

Just a question based on the anime
 
Dark Rebellion had 2 materials, but when overlayed those materials didn't go on Odd-Eyes Rebellion. Is that how it will work for real when these two use their effects for the same purpose?

If number F0 is any indication, yes it is.

I noticed the same thing in the episode. I assume that's the reason that Rank-Ups and Chaos Xyz emphasize they keep their Materials: Because normally, they wouldn't. You'd only Overlay the Materials used for the Summon.

 

These were clearly designed to work with themselves and ONLY with themselves.
