Nathanael D. Striker
http://qz.com/364122/microsoft-is-scrapping-internet-explorer/ At long last, Microsoft is giving in to the masses that dislike I.E. Smart move from a economic standpoint tbh. Let's hope Spartan is better Anyway, discuss.
Resident Fascist
I don't think I've used Internet Explorer in years. Honestly, I wish MS would just strike a deal with Google or something to have Google Chrome or Firefox be the default browsers for computers. Techi☺
The sad and general likelihood of Project Spartan turning out to be a re-skinned IE is all I got out of that. And did anyone else think about master chief? I mean, probs not at all related... But, it'd be silly.

And hopefully Spartan isn't I.E. in disguise...
Fusion X. Denver
So they're finally doing something new? Well, I'm betting Microsoft's learned from all the stigma surrounding IE and will probably find moderate success with Spartan. Meanwhile, I'll be supporting IE-kun in remaining webcomics. Chaotic Angel
Microsoft loves their Halo references. Why do you think their task manager is named Cortana? And hopefully Spartan isn't I.E. in disguise... Probably would be to be fair. I don't imagine them creating something completely new and not make a reference... ihop
When I got my new laptop I used IE once, to download chrome. Amazingly, in that time it actually managed to crash so spectacularly that I had to open Explorer again while still having a dead tab of explorer up that I could neither reopen nor close. I'm glad Microsoft have finally got it and will focus their time on better things.
bury the year
I have to use it at work. It's just about as bad as you'd expect.
Maeriberii Haan
Rest in peace, Internet Explorer. You were such a bro...not. Yes! Finally Microsoft put this zombie to rest. Hopefully the spartan that replaces it is not as bad as IE.
Shradow
RIP in pepperonis, IE. I'll always have such fond memories...

I sorta feel a little bad for it, not being of any use. The only reason I use it is at school, and only for things that don't work on Firefox OR Chrome (Yes, I have all 3). My stupid old teachers are going to be SO confused when IE stops working. I'll be funny.
Nathanael D. Striker
Um JamesMuddy, it is possible Microsoft keeps I.E. in a coma due to compatibility. If they do, then that's just sad...

Cin
I used it to download Firefox and Chrome, only used it as a tester when I needed to check something on Photobucket, but needed a browser to stay logged in and I didn't have the other installed yet. I won't be going back to it under any name UNLESS, it eats less RAM than Chrome and Firefox.
