mshends
Superheavy Samurai Jisha-QLevel 4 EARTH Machine900/???When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Superheavy Samurai" monster from your hand. Your opponent cannot target monsters for attacks, except this one.
玄魔の王
So Superheavy Samurai Magnet? Well, the name fits the effect I guess. Kinda wish it did a Goblindbergh switch, but this is at least a useful effect.

In addition to the fact it has a giant magnet on its back :P
The Warden
Ehhhh, in all fairness the only thing this has over Tin Goldfish is the ability to be searched by Soul Piercer and being able to summon Trumpeter or Tama-C, but he's confined to only Superheavies then, while Goldfish doesn't have that problem. Hmmm, if he gets buffed to do it when SSed as well, he'd make an excellent replacement for Goldfish. But until then, I'd rather Tin, since he has a wider range to work with. Tinkerer
This is literally Marauding Captain with an archetype restriction rather than a type restriction. Of course, it does open up some XYZ options and it can form a block lock I guess. (was this in today's episode?)

(was this in today's episode?)Though Marauding Captain can Special Summon any Level 4 or lower monster, not just Warriors. If you mean the attack lock effect, this Superheavy is generic in that regard. So both are non-generic on the effect the other one isn't. Yes, yest it did. - - - - - The card is pretty much a non-generic Goblindberg/Tingoldfish. The attack lock is cute but even back in the day those barriers weren't all that great, mainly because the effect is 100% defensive. You are either using up your play to stall rather than try to push back, or failing at it when the opponent gets rid of the setup.

Synchronized
Why was the Level restriction needed?
-kyo-
Why was the Level restriction needed?allowing it to bring out big benkei would be a bit much
Synchronized
allowing it to bring out big benkei would be a bit much Would it though? The Deck has very little in terms of "big plays" and I think it could use that boost. I don't think even with that effect, it would be viable at a competitive level. At least it would have given the Deck a faster way to get Big Benkei out.
~Faytl~
Bringing out Benkei would be nice. Only real good ways to do it are Scale plays, Flutist, or Giant Rat, all of which have drawbacks/take up cards/is slow. It's not super useful with their Tuners either because Trumpeter already Special Summons itself.
