Slinky
I don't know how to feel about this, other than, thank god it isn't the official list.
Blake
I now patienly away Masao's thoughts on this, because I want more info before really commenting. I do have to say, the logic in the article is really bad though, even for moves I think were great. It's like it was made by someone who doesn't understand the ins and outs of the decks, but merely sees "oh they're good let's hit em". I mean, they didn't ban WU Hunter because "you can't consistently loop", but they banned RML, Fusion Gate, and Chain for similar/pre-emptive reasons. Uh? Expelsword
Trishula is so much more powerful than every other card that is currently legal and it is the only part of Nekroz that makes it so dominate.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
>Fenix wasn't hitFuckin' knew it. How on earth do you expect to summon it with this list?
The Warden
So if I understand this right, you can have Shaddoll Fusion, or El Shaddoll Construct, but not both. Is that right?
Wildflame
...You know, I wouldn't mind if this was the actual TCG banlist.
Ryusei the Morning Star
So OCG Japan had a banlist. TCG has a banlist. OCG Asia has a pseudo banlist Arg has a banlist. What next?!
Blake
[11:29 PM] Genesis Dragon, Messiah: Summoner’s Art (Restricted to Two) - A majority of the committee wanted to hit this card it was just a matter is to put it at one or two. More of them wanted it at two for now. With the release of Wavering Eyes it may put Qliphort over the top so we may have to take a look at the deck. In this one bit, I count...Bad Grammar: At least 3 shots.Bad Logic: Wavering Eyes comment for 1 (and the rest of the list/leaving at 2 instead of 1 for +1, 2 total here)Personal Gain: Keeping it at 2 to keep Qli as strong as they can with a token hit, mentioning a recent promo that is sure to sell well,, probably even post-CORE, so 2 more shots. Best part? Qli is still the best deck under this list, even w/o Eyes. That's 7 shots here alone. You would die from this.
Maeriberii Haan
So apparently when TCG players don't have their list arrive on time, they went nuts and go create their own format.

(GigaDrillBreaker)
...You know, I wouldn't mind if this was the actual TCG banlist. You wouldn't mind if Qliphort was the only viable deck?
heraldry_lord
Cause when you get impatient it ends up s*** like this If you mean that in the process of rushing out the alternative list due to being impatient, it ends up ****, then sure. If you just mean that making your own list due to being tired of waiting for the official list necessarily leads to a **** list, I'm not as inclined to agree. VCR_CAT
Honestly, it made sense until I got to the limited list. Once I get there, it turned from "sensible" to "Salt list" combined with a "Wish list". Some of those hits make little sense, while some of the de-hits are simply "Please no!"Yeah, let's just go ahead and free Stratos while A Hero Lives is at 3, 6 Call of the Haunteds, among the 30 other cards that HEROs already run that search him out in a format where backrow is still a fairly precious commodity and all of the other big decks save Tellars received hits of some kind. As Bubsy would say, "What could possibly go wrong?" Why does most of this just scream that they took a few looks at the OCG list and kind of just copied what they did? Did they remember that the OCG has access to a different pool of cards AND THEIR CARDS ARE MADE OF STURDIER MATERIALS?!

SANDAA BORUTO
Calling it now: It'll be a Qliphort format. I guess it's not the worst list I've seen, and they actually bothered to hit Unicore, but I don't know if I'd play under this.
Expelsword
It does seem strange how biased this list is for Qliphoths...
The Amazing Avian
Can someone explain to me why they hit Fusion Gate instead of Blaze Fenix?
The Warden
Because Fusion Gate engages in more FTKs than Fenix does. Banning Fenix kills all Fenix variants, banning Gate kills every Gate related variant. Considering Fenix relies on Gate, it's killing more birds with one stone as it were. Expelsword
They should have banned Flint and Pole Position too. And Red Potion, because why not?

VCR_CAT
Looked over the list again, the more you pay attention the more you realize how laughably bad it is. Dark hole to 3; Hornet to 2; Wind-Up Loop is back; Mistake was hit because, and I quote, "Floodgates should not be at 3" and Lose 1 Turn wasn't touch; the neutering of most major decks except Qliphorts and Tellars; pre-emptive hits on cards that won't come out for a few months... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDiJhqhYuog It's honestly like they looked at what the OCG was doing and wanted to copy some of that, but as I said it doesn't work because the OCG has access to hundreds of cards that we don't. This is entirely a salt list.
