mshends
Normal SpellSend 1 "Polymerization" from your hand to the Graveyard, then choose 1 "Ancient Gear" Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck; banish a number of monsters from your Graveyard that were Special Summoned from the Extra Deck equal to its number of Fusion Materials, and if you do, Special Summon its Fusion Materials from your Deck, Extra Deck or Graveyard, ignoring their Summoning conditions, but their effects are negated. Then, Fusion Summon the chosen Fusion Monster, using the Summoned monsters as Fusion Materials. That person used this card in the anime today. Discuss? Trebuchet MS
Rather long-winded and impractical-looking. You need a Poly (which, admittedly, is sufficiently searchable) and have to run through several Extra Deck monsters to use this proper. That can be alleviated if the Hound Dog series is involved though.
Toffee.
Assuming this gets an IRL release- Can we just, like, throw caution to the wind and make it a straight-up Miracle Fusion for Ancient Gears?
Maeriberii Haan
plot twist bastards So...why does he still run these in that deck of his? Felt like a bad idea. Chaos Golem was amusing though.
evilfusion
I love how people are being really subtle about who used this card. It's a very...odd card. And I find the necessity of running Hound Dog in addition to the Fusions to be...rather stupid. It's kind of a giveaway, even moreso than the Polymerization and this card. At least the Hound Dog Fusions are hidden in the Extra Deck.

Premier Alexander Romanov
What I don't understand is why he even has this card in the first place. Why not a Fusion for his already-existing cards?
Blake
What I don't understand is why he even has this card in the first place. Why not a Fusion for his already-existing cards?[spoiler=See]Dennis is very likely the 3rd character getting cards in Wing Raiders; An Xyz Support extra set. As such, this is likely to avoid making Performage anything BUT an Xyz archetype, and thus Wing Raiders can be used to catch up on Dennis' 8-10 or so Performages we're behind. Thus, they didn't give him Performage fusions. Not my preferred result, but it makes sense.
BlackBeartic
That person seems to have made a big mistake keeping poly in THAT deck. (or maybe i should say that person made a good choice afterall)
evilfusion
What I don't understand is why he even has this card in the first place. Why not a Fusion for his already-existing cards? That's actually pretty easy to answer. [spoiler=spoily]Because it unambiguously exposes him as an Academia agent. Fusing for his actual archetype cards wouldn't reveal his loyalty to Academia, but fusing for the archetype Academia mooks use does, in a way that's impossible to deny the allegiance. That's why it's not a Fusion for his archetype. This card is probably given to double agents that specialize in other Extra Deck methods. Academia probably has Synchro and Xyz agents, and this card unifies them under one banner - Academia and its Antique Gear Fusions. Their goal is to make the worlds one, after all. evilfusion
It's not a flawless justification, but that's where suspension of disbelief has to come into play. Yugioh series tend to use a lot of symbolism when it comes to players' Decks. Having this card and such is symbolic, and we're supposed to gloss over the fact that running it runs of the risk of really inconvenient dead-draws. Darj
Assuming this gets an IRL release- Can we just, like, throw caution to the wind and make it a straight-up Miracle Fusion for Ancient Gears? Well, if konami wanted Ancient Gears to get any better, I would even expect this to end up as a a Shaddoll/Future Fusion (in that it send monster from the deck to the grave as fusion materials). Dramatic Crossroad
I do think he, like the rest of the Academia people has priorities - losing is worse than getting his fake identity compromised, though he had no problem with losing was when dueling Selena (another Academia person) and in the street show vs. Gongenzaka once (for the sake of cash and entertainment). Also doubt any Fusion cards or this card will make it to the OCG, even though the effect can be made more plausable (currently there's only 1 AG fusion).+ wing raiders like Highspeed Riders i think will be entirely Xyz Themed, introducing 1 never-yet-seen archetype, like they did with PSY-Frames. (Jack / Yugo / New Synch. Theme) ; (Shun / Yuto / New Xyz Theme)
White Void
I'm thinking we'll probably see the Ancient Gear stuff in a Fusion/Academia based special set down the line. Yuri/Selena/Dennis/Obelisk Force.

(Jack / Yugo / New Synch. He's actually Dueling one of his primary enemies right now, who already suspected his allegiance and more or less got it confirmed by seeing Poly in the first place. There's nothing to LOSE by admitting it, and winning the Duel now IS a priority.
