(2) While this card is equipped to a monster, Spell/Trap Cards that are already face-up on your opponent’s side of the field cannot activate their effects.
(3) You can send this equipped card to the Graveyard; the monster this card was equipped to gains 1000 ATK until the end of this turn.

Hakaikenshi no Shukumei / Fate of the Destruction Swordsman
Spell Quick-Play
You can only use each effect of “Fate of the Destruction Swordsman” once per turn.
(1) Target up to 3 monsters with the same Type in your opponent’s Graveyard; banish them, and if you do, have 1 “Buster Blader” monster or “Destruction Sword” monster you control gain 500 ATK for each monster banished by this effect until the end of this turn.
(2) If this card is in your Graveyard: You can discard 1 “Destruction Sword” card; add this card from your Graveyard to your hand.

Destruction Sword – Wizard Buster Blade is pretty good.

Destruction Sword – Arms Buster Blade seems a bit meh.

Fate of the Destruction Swordsman is interesting, the text is a bit weird though, it says with the same Type, but it also says "up to", so could you use it by only targeting one card? If so, it may be worth using, otherwise it seems a bit weak and situational.

@Zazu: I was just about to post these, when you and Malacoda did (I locked the latter because you beat him by a few seconds).

Probably what happens when I try to write some thoughts, in accordance with evilfusion's rule stuff (you all know about that, right?)

Anyway, Wizard Blade essentially says "screw you BAs or whatever cards trigger in the Graveyard now".

That's pretty nice, plus it floats either of the Tuners or the other support cards by ditching it.

Indeed, Arms Buster isn't really that great; only things I can see are it knocking off Pendulum trigger effects + Field Spells.

Not sure what to say on Fate though; you can probably target just 1 card, but don't quote me on that.

Might need to look at the rulings for cards that do similar things; might actually not (though your opponent should probably have more than 1 valid target for you to hit when this gets used).

But yeah, Buster Blader's shaping up to be a viable Deck now.

I agree, Arms isn't that great. The deck could probs do without it. (Unless you wanted to tech one for Pends, though that space could be used for something else)

Wizard on the other hand is pretty good, giving BAs the middle-finger among other things.

Out of the legacy support we've had so far in Arc-V, this is one of the better ones.

Evilfusions rule is designed to generate discussion. Just revealed cards always generate discussion, and as such, his rule doesn't normally apply. The rule is mainly for pre-existing cards with new tech usages, or to examine other qualities such as lore/art.

Wizard Buster paired with the other one that locks down the Extra Deck can really become a threat very quickly. Screws over BAs and Shaddolls--and a lot more decks.

Arms is pretty meh right now, but take that with a grain of salt since it might prove to be amazing against Pendulums and the such.

As for the Spell, it seems pretty strong to me. Since it targets up to 3 cards and is a recurring Graveyard killer. Pretty cool.

The Buster Blader archetype as a whole turned out a whole lot better than I thought, especially when compared to Red-Eyes and Black Luster Soldier's support cards.

At the end of the day, no matter how many floodgates and how ridiculous the cards look on paper, there's only one thing that matters.

Is Buster Blader.dek actually consistent enough to warrant running in tournaments, and for that matter, consistent enough to reliably top?

Seeing that they now have ways to

1) Stop BA

2) Stop Monarchs

3) Stop M&m's

Alteast in OCG I would say so
