Maeriberii Haan
☢CAUTION!!☢ ☢CAUTION!!☢ 1 tuner + 1 or more non-tuner monstersCards and effects cannot be activated in response to this card's summon. When this card is Synchro Summoned if you control less cards than your opponent; destroy all other cards on the field, but you cannot declare an attack this turn. If this card is the only monster you control: During either player's turn, you can discard 1 card and pay 1000 Life Points; destroy 1 face-up monster on the field. This effect of "Subterranean Flare, Utsuho" can only be activated once per turn. There's only room for 1 Sun for this solar system. Anyway, making an explosive card today. Pseudo-boss Exciton that lacks chainability and reusability but have Star Eater's clause on it. More or less that, yeah. The second effect is non-targeting, yeah. unsure about taht yet, but I'll see whether it ends up being acceptable or not.Comments and suggestions would definitely be nice~
Toffee.
Should be a machine, seeing as how she is nuclear powered. That aside, this is an interesting take on field nukes, and how it's 2nd effect also gets set up by it's first one. So shenanigans are always nice. You can leave it as being untargeting destruction, IMO, seeing as how to use it it means you are in a semi-vulnerable position because This is the only monster you have to control. Flash Flyer - Sakura
If this card were easier to bring out, then yeah you'd probably have to change it to targeting destruction. But since 11 isn't that easy to get in the first place (well, there are some Decks that can still make 11s without much issue, but that's another story), you can leave it as non-targeting. Though, I think you can also get rid of the hand discard and/or LP payment for said destruction effect. Personally, the costs seem excessive, given the fact that only this can exist on your field and it's quite a bit of effort just to pop a single monster. If you want to keep one of the costs as a safety precaution, I'd advise keeping the discard. ----Otherwise, being Exciton + getting to blow up a monster is nice, but again, I'd probably lessen the cost on it, as LP + discard for one pop is a bit much. Maeriberii Haan
Something that made me wondering about lessening the cost is mainly the fact that it's a quick nontargetting monster removal. Though perhaps it's simply due to me not really being sure about balancing the concept in the first place.I guess I can fix the cost to be lighter. (GigaDrillBreaker)
Wait. This doesn't count cards in hand. Hot damn. I like this.
Maeriberii Haan
Figures that if it counts cards in hand it'll be too weak due to not being as accessible as Exciton, nuke-wise.
Kanashimi
If this card is real and exist at DN, i'll shout "BAM! and BAM again! Gotcha!" Oh my . . . what a devilishly evil card, field nuke + non-target pop'ing effect.Being Level 11 is easy to summon in my Six Sams deck (Kagemusha + Grandmaster + Kizan and voila!), and since Six Sams also has a bad recovery and can't maintain card advantage so it's works well with the activation requirements. It's like when Shi En is Final Boss, this card is Secret-Ultimate Boss. Yea, like it!
Trebuchet MS
Would personally crank up the ATK just to 3000 to make it feel a little more fit for a LV11 monster. I understand it's got quick-play non-targeting destruction available to you shortly after you use it to Giga Flare the field, but there's so many times you can safely use it against monsters that would otherwise tie with or smack it down the old-fashioned way. I would have included some form of burn effect just to rub it in the opponent's face, but non-targeting quick-play more than makes up for it.
