Atypical-Abbie Posted July 16, 2016 Report Share Posted July 16, 2016 堕天使の追放 Datenshi no Tsuihou (Casting out the Darklords)Normal Spell Card“Casting out the Darklords” can only be activated once per turn.(1) Add 1 “Darklord” or “Fallen One” card from your Deck to your hand, except “Casting out the Darklords”背徳の堕天使 Haitoku no Datenshi (Darklords Falling from Grace)Normal Trap CardYou can only activate “Darklords Falling from Grace” once per turn.(1) Send 1 “Darklord” or “Fallen One” monster from your hand or face-up on your side of the field to the Graveyard; destroy 1 card on the field. A bit...simple. I would have liked a Graveyard effect at least or something, not saying they are bad, I mean a RotA is hardly ever bad, but still, I guess the new monsters make up for that though. The Highlander Posted July 16, 2016 Report Share Posted July 16, 2016 The first one is exactly what they needed, the second one is fine as well (considering re-use skips the cost), now all they need is a darklord monster reborn. Edit: Obviously Ixtab is, most of the time, the best target with Superbia to setup a fast Lucifer or alright field. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Airride Posted July 16, 2016 Report Share Posted July 16, 2016 I really like Casting Out. SUre it's a RotA, but it makes Asmodeus a lot less bad. Combo it with Valhalla on an empty field for a free Summon, too~ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Althemia Posted July 16, 2016 Report Share Posted July 16, 2016 Friendly reminder that the trap makes it so that every Darklord is a SS2 non-targeting removal without a cost. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
vla1ne Posted July 16, 2016 Report Share Posted July 16, 2016 so is the art depicting a war between the darklords and the solemn series cards? because if so, solemn jesus when? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Toffee. Posted July 16, 2016 Report Share Posted July 16, 2016 I love the fact the Spell searches cardsBoth of these are amusing, because of what the new Darklords can do. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~~ Posted July 16, 2016 Report Share Posted July 16, 2016 so is the art depicting a war between the darklords and the solemn series cards? because if so, solemn jesus when?Solemn TrinityCounter TrapWhen an effect is activated or a monster would be Summoned: Pay one third of your LP; Special Summon this card as an Effect Monster (Fairy-Type/DIVINE/Level 4/ATK 3000/DEF 3000), and if you do, negate the Summon or activation and return that card to the hand. While Summoned this way, you can activate "Solemn" Counter Trap Cards except "Solemn Trinity" from your Deck, and if you do so using this card's effect, you do not pay LP to activate them. If you control 3 face-up "Solemn Trinity" that were Special Summoned by their own effect, you win the Duel. OT: I honestly wish Falling from Grace was Continuous. Althemia Posted July 16, 2016 Report Share Posted July 16, 2016 Because you can't chain MST? It wants to be in the Graveyard so that you can use it with the Darklord's effects without having to pay the cost. The worst part about the card is the cost, which is why Darklord effects are the reason this is good. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Neochu-H Posted July 16, 2016 Report Share Posted July 16, 2016 finally now i can run less random crap in my darklords Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Pchi Posted July 16, 2016 Report Share Posted July 16, 2016 I hope they give us more Archangels/Archlords next, starting with Lucifer's former self. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Pchi Posted July 16, 2016 Report Share Posted July 16, 2016 Considering how amazing the Spell is at any situation, one would obviously want to run 3 of it, but what about the Trap? I presume between the Spell searching effect and the new Fallen Angels' recycling effects, you wouldn't want to run more than 1 of it, but it hurts there aren't many ways to send it to Grave apart from Ixtab, that one Burgesstoma Trap, and, of course, activating it, which can be pretty costful. I'm testing now and it doesn't seem difficult to get in grave tbh. Then again, I'm running The First Monarch of all things, so... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CraneMonk Posted July 16, 2016 Report Share Posted July 16, 2016 There's a missing card between these two on the pack list. Perhaps that unknown one will be their reborn. (Hopefully.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
