Funny enough, you can Fusion this, activate the send effect, use this as Material to summon Sabre Tooth, let him revive Kraken again and use send effect again.

YGOPro update plz

If you do this, and choose not to send again, can it attack directly?

Hmmm...actually, this isn't that bad. I expected it to be meh, due to the anime effect being meh.

Utterly generic Materials. Any Edge Imp, and any Fluffal. That's phenomenally good, making this an incredibly flexible option.

It can send (not destroy) any opposing monster (face-up or facedown), but can't attack directly that turn if it does. However, it's the only one restricted in this way, which is hilarious. Fluffal Decks can drop Fusion Summons like nothing and OTK in the blink of an eye. This card only makes it even easier because you can clear out a high-attack or indestructible threat, and then have everything else swing for game.

It can also normally attack twice a turn, which is good for some damage, especially if you don't use the effect. Plus, you likely Summoned Tiger at some point to clear out backrow and such, and the ATK bonuses from Sabre or Tiger can make this thing brutally effective.

And if it attacked, it can switch to DEF. It's not likely to use that effect often, either because it wasn't allowed to attack, or because with the other Fusions' tendency to give ATK buffs, you don't want this in DEF for the most part anyway, but it's a cool effect to have available.

And yes, if you Summon this, send something, then fuse this for Sabre and revive this, enjoy your 2800 beatstick and your 2600 double-attacking beatstick. How much damage is that? Oh right...8000 exactly.

Definitely worth a slot in the Extra Deck. In fact, if you're still running Scissor Bear because it's still an option, however unlikely, STOP running Scissor Bear. You're much more likely to Summon this (or Wolf, or Tiger) if you're somehow stuck with Sabres and Bear in hand with a Fusion card. Also amusing is that this is Level 8, meaning it can be Summoned with Frightfur March.

What are you on about? You don't run Bear to USE it, you run it so Fluffal Bear is searchable off Conscription/Reserve.

F-Fur Bear seems pretty sheet now, too slow

F-Fur Wolf also seems pretty sheet now. 1-of you run to cash in all your chips for game, but...

Overall, Sabres is worse than chain now. By a lot. The deck doesn't need as many bad cards anymore, and this gem right here makes chain better.

  • Chain now summons more than sheep (though sheep seems to be better T1 to go into/be revived by sabre-tooth)
  • This is far more versatile than Tiger OR Wolf, making it better in a lot of situations.
  • You can send a mosnter, use it for Sabre-Tooth, then revive it. Restriction-be-gone!
  • double swing next to a Tiger and/or Sabre-Tooth is all you really need, anyway, especially when it's 2800 and Tiger is 2500, so it hits better numbers than Wolf. 26 + 26 + 28 for Sabre-Tooth. also better numbers for less input.
  • Defensive part means it's less squishy, which is great.

It's easy to make boards that don't just die to a Kaiju, and this card is just stupidly applicable to most situations. It's even Level 8, which, in my testing, does come up a small amount of the time to cinch games.

This also reminds me I need to bring up 1 more thing in the octo thread before zzz...

I know. Trust me, I know. I'm actually referring to myself there, because I don't run Reserve anymore, meaning Scissor Bear literally is still there just because every once in a blue moon, I can Summon it, and haven't had anything appropriate to replace it with. The Deck doesn't Xyz often enough for me to swap it out for a random Xyz.

Then again, I think the reason I've kept it so long is because King of the Swamp + Sabres = super desperate Fusion option.

Loving this card right now, definitely insta-buy...if it doesn't cost too much... TT-TT

I actually like to use Dante, TotBA. It works pretty well for me, but that's probably because of the cheap trash-tier variant I use called "Burning Fluffals". Can actually make him consistently in most situations if I'm in a dire situation and for some reason can't fuse.

It's a shame that the two effects (sending to grave and double attacking) seem to have rather poor synergy.

Other than that, this seems like a fantastic option for Fluffals. It probably gets out a good chunk of damage and then is Level 8 for Main Phase 2 Xyz plays.

This card's release makes me hope for Captain Lock from the same episode.

Funny thing regarding those effects: They're parallel to BLS Envoy, of all things, with one effect being nerfed and the other buffed. On one hand, it sends to the Graveyard instead of banishing, but on the other it doesn't have to swing twice in a row- it just can swing twice. The DEF switch is just icing on the cake.

Honestly, this one card gives me hope for more Sora, more Frightfurs, and my personal favorite anime Fusion Deck getting a boost.
