Azuriena Posted November 24, 2016 Report Share Posted November 24, 2016 ****tentative, as there's discussion over what this effect is. Could be that they can't be destroyed until the next end phase. The card is perfectly legible. They are destroyed during your opponent's next End Phase. Choose 1 "Yosenju Shinchu L" and 1 "Yosenju Shinchu R" and place them in your Pendulum Zones. Choose from where? Your Deck. Furthermore, it's "Activate 1 of these effects," not "Apply 1 of the following effects," meaning the choice is made at activation. And it's "For the rest of the turn after this card resolves, you cannot Special Summon monsters, except 'Yosenju' monsters," not "You cannot Special Summon monsters during the turn you activate this card, except for 'Yosenju' monsters," meaning it does not apply retroactively. Nor is it a condition; rather, it's part of the effect. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dova Posted November 24, 2016 Report Share Posted November 24, 2016 Does this have no OPT? And is it part of the Yosenju archetype? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Atypical-Abbie Posted November 24, 2016 Report Share Posted November 24, 2016 Oh man, a new Yosenju card, and it even promotes Pendulum Summoning! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
The Nyx Avatar Posted November 24, 2016 Report Share Posted November 24, 2016 Another card to add to the late support for previous archetypes. Though, this is from a different set than those previous cards. Sure, they already had a little sercheability, but they don't search as easily as this card. Something that would help if you draw a hand with few monsters. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~~ Posted November 24, 2016 Report Share Posted November 24, 2016 I don't know Yosenjus at all (other than the 3 Kamas that this barely interacts with), so I can't comment on the effect, but that art is amazing. It looks like Pendulum Scales from the anime. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ryusei the Morning Star Posted November 24, 2016 Report Share Posted November 24, 2016 Place L+R Summon Mayosenju Daibak Bounce em both back Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
The Warden Posted November 25, 2016 Report Share Posted November 25, 2016 I think Daibak should have been in the background, not Oyamabiko. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Lee Cheng Men Posted November 25, 2016 Report Share Posted November 25, 2016 I think Daibak should have been in the background, not Oyamabiko. Not sure why they pick Oyamabiko instead of Daibak. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Airride Posted November 25, 2016 Report Share Posted November 25, 2016 hella is pendulum yosen any better because of this? probably, actually. daibak is a monster but the scales are kinda butts (well ok red is bad, blue is ok)do note daibak isnt OPT at all so just summon 3 of the funkers and destroy your opponent kamas still play an important early role, esp 3 and 2 now since they're how you're going to search your daibak. maybe training grounds will be good since your late game is less kaiju and more daibak? unsure. will have to test when it comes out. Slinky Posted November 26, 2016 Report Share Posted November 26, 2016 Card is pretty bad tbh. Yosenjus pendulum summoning is rare, nor do they run level 5+ monsters. It's adhering to a very specific deck build that nobody runs. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Kaiji Posted November 26, 2016 Report Share Posted November 26, 2016 I'm really glad that they made the Daibak card finally summonable without having 2 do sick hoops and loops. Plus this card isnt hard OTP which is pretty rare for 2016 ROTAs so you can have both effects if you draw multiple Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Konami is trying to push a variant of a deck they want to see, and there's no issue with that. It's more diversity in deck building and play. So the Yosenju Decks that can Normal Summon like crazy, Xyz like no tomorrow, and are able to dodge a lot of removal while working defensively against any counter are NOT the way Koomy wanted? So the Yosenju Decks that can Normal Summon like crazy, Xyz like no tomorrow, and are able to dodge a lot of removal while working defensively against any counter are NOT the way Koomy wanted?xyz wat The deck doesn't Xyz that much ._. The deck is clearly meant to speed you into powered up high level monsters (Misak, wea6el, Daibak), using easy to summon little ones (Kamas, Kodama) to speed you into it. The stun deck that can use Demise or Kaiju was clearly not intended. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
