Limitless Pot

EARTH - Level 9 - Rock/Synchro/Effect - 1800/3600

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

During your End Phase, flip this monster into face-down Defense Position. If this face-down monster is targeted for a card or effect, you can flip it face-up. When this card is flipped face-up, select and activate 1 of the following effects:

●Return up to 3 cards on the field to their original owner's hand(s).

●Draw 1 card.

●Target 1 monster your opponent controls, and take control of that target until the End Phase.

●Target and destroy 1 monster you control, and inflict damage to both players equal to its original ATK.

 

Similar to Pot of the Forbidden aping the effects of banned cards, Limitless Pot uses variations on the effects of Limited cards.

- This card can make a second attack in a row.

You can only use this effect of "Revolving Blast Dragon" once per turn.

During either player's turn, you can discard 1 card to target 1 Set card on the field and 1 card in the Graveyard: Banish those targets. Once during either player's turn, if an "Ice Barrier" monster is Special Summoned, you can draw 1 card.

 

Fun in Xyz Dimension Splash Decks, makes playing straight Ice Barriers mildly easier, and is legitimately Summonable by its own archetype!

Well, relying on opponent to play LS to become stronger doesn't help its case.

- You can attack with this card once again in a row.

If this card destroyed a LIGHT monster, you can activate both effects.

This card in the Extra Deck or on the field is also always treated as a WIND monster. While you have no Spell/Trap Cards in your graveyard, except cards that specify "Speedroid", this card can attack while in Defense Position. Once while this card is face-up on your field, you can banish 1 Spell/Trap Card from your graveyard, then Special Summon non-Tuner 1 Level 1 monster from your hand or graveyard.

 

Good for making Level 7 Synchros *coughClearWingcough*

Well, he has Draconnet, right? Then he could easily play a Level 1~2 Normal Tuner to access a Synchro, namely:

 

Compressed Wyverar
Attribute: DARK
Type: Cyberse/Synchro/Tuner/Effect
Level: 4
ATK: 1400
DEF: 0
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Cyberse monsters
Gains 300 ATK for each card in the same column as this card. If this card would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you can destroy 1 card you control in the same column as this card instead. You can Tribute this card (Quick Effect): Special Summon 1 Cyberse Link Monster from your Extra Deck whose ATK is equal or lower to the ATK this card had when it was on the field.

 

 

I feel the name could be better, but that's all I could think of. Intended flavor is that since Cyberse Link monsters involve Link Points, this as a Synchro takes a column approach as a contrast to Link Points. Then, the second effect is a reference to the monster being actually a compressed Link monster (data) that then decompresses into said Link Monster. The idea is to be able to "shortcut" into the code Talkers if you fill your side of the column, but, needless to say, summoning this on a column occupied by opponent's cards makes it easier and gives you access to bigger monsters. Or you can resort to boosting its ATK with other effects and access the big stuff. Finally, it is a Level4 Tuner to open further Synchro plays, work with Stack Reviver, potential Rank4 plays, etc.

1400 ATK is reference to Draconnet/Proxy Dragon, and 0 DEF to Link Monsters having no DEF.

When this monster is Synchro Summoned, select 1 method of Summon (Normal, Flip, Fusion, Ritual, Synchro, Xyz, Pendulum, or Link): Both players shuffle all monsters that were Summoned via that method into the Deck (except this card). If a monster(s) is Summoned via the selected method, this monster gains ATK equal to the Summoned monster's ATK. If a monster Summoned via the selected method would activate its effect, you can halve this monster's ATK: Negate the activation, and if you do, banish it (you cannot activate this effect if this monster's ATK would be reduced below 100 this way).

 

Say hello to a card that is entirely useless if you revive it!

(You can keep it; the only stuff that got barred from this thread in a nutshell are things that are legitimately impossible to do without breaking mechanics [i.e. Using Xyz/Links as material, specific Synchro mats whose known Levels exceed 12 or whatever that got set, anything past Level 12 or something else.)

(And now if I ever make a WATER rider / beast combo for HRC at this time. If I do, will be Hawaiian/Pacific Island named because the naming here literally translates to "God of tidal waves" in Hawaiian. At least you can kinda ladder with the existing ones.)

I guess I have two prompts to do . . . I'll pick door #1.

 

Fallen Blaze - Joan

FIRE - Level 8 - Zombie/Synchro/Effect - 2800/0

1 Zombie-Type Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Zombie-Type monsters

When a Zombie-Type monster you control inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, you can select and activate 1 of the following effects:

●Send 1 Zombie-Type monster from your Deck to the Graveyard whose ATK is less than or equal to the amount of damage inflicted.

●Send 1 Zombie-Type monster from your Banished Zone to the Graveyard.

If this monster is destroyed by your opponent's card (by battle or card effect) and sent to the Graveyard, you can banish 2 Zombie-Type monsters from your Graveyard to Special Summon this monster from your Graveyard, and if you do, you can target 1 of those banished monsters; increase this monster's ATK by the ATK of that target.
