I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised when the discussion about Polls’ rules pops up. That should be today, unless things change while I’m at work?

 

CC was separated in the day to differentiate power level, and later to encourage better posting... but I don’t remember if the better posting ever got incentivized with more points per post or anything. Regardless, I’ve said the two could be combined in the past, and I stand by that now.

 

The misc idea is interesting. I’d suggest making a topic on that once the poll thread goes up, so you can weigh it against what’s said there, though I don’t know how much the mod who posts it will actually cover about the logic and process to get there.

 

Anonymous Complaint Form could be neat, but my major issue with it is the natural animosity that comes with anonymity. I could be completely wrong, and it worked out fine, but I’m wary. I think having it alongside public discussions could work well, though.

 

Definitely agree the staff breakdown could be much less complicated. I’ll try and draft up something that looks nice when I get home, if I don’t forget.

I will definitely give it a good read over when I get the time, I'm assuming that a discussion about the poll section's rules is what it is? and not a poll about rules.

I feel like if I bring it up people are going to be all about "muh post count" but again, I will certainly give it a go.

Perhaps, but if people want to be overly angry about a subject then you just ignore their complaint, if someone doesn't want to complain in a civil matter then they should not have the right to complain. I just think the positives of it being anonymous outweigh the negatives (could always have an entry requesting a username but making it optional for those who want to be anonymous)

Good to see you back, what're you up to these days IRL?

 

IT Support Specialist, which takes up most of my weekday, 2-hour travel to the place and then another 2 hours back home. I leave the house at 5am and don't get home until about 6:30pm most days. Usually still playing videos games, I've found myself being apart of the Senior Leadership Team in a community that is dedicated to RP in a game (2k members on discord) and being the owner of the website that they use (which is coincidentally an invision community forum)

 

Pretty much my life at the moment.
