Acceleranimal

Acceleranimal is a Beast-Type deck with members of multiple Attributes. They are capable of utilizing all of the Extra Deck mechanics (barring Pendulums) and focusing on spamming their members in order to do so. Each member is generally based on a single species of land mammalian creature and doesn't share its origin with other archetype members, however there can be overlaps.

 
The defining trait is that if a member leaves the field, they can float into a different member from the hand, Deck or GY. The Extra Deck monsters are capable of floating into multiple monsters from different locations. Main Deck members usually have a basic effect that gets plays going (i.e. search, SS from places, recycle resources), whereas the Extra Deck have enhanced versions of their "pre-evolved "forms plus some extra effects. It should be noted that each branch of the ED Summon mechanics has its own member that can perform it as a Quick Effect.

 

Backrow support is somewhat average.

Just note that I am modifying this prompt explicitly to not revolve around Link Summoning because of AGM's eternal ARC-V thing. However I'm also going to make clear that this archetype should be equally functional in both ARC-V [MR3] and VRAINS [MR4].

 

(You may ignore the "total card" count; that's mostly for me when I design stuff.)

Acceleranimal Weasel

FIRE - Level 3 - Beast/Tuner/Effect - 600/200

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Acceleranimal" monster from your Deck in Defense Position with its effects negated. A monster Summoned this way cannot be used as Material for a Summon, except the Summon of a Beast-Type monster. If this card is Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Acceleranimal" Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. If this card leaves the field: You can Special Summon 1 "Acceleranimal" monster from your hand or Graveyard, except "Acceleranimal Weasel". You can only use each effect of "Acceleranimal Weasel" once per turn.

 

Acceleranimal Desperate Cry

Quick-Play Spell

Target 1 "Acceleranimal" monster in your Graveyard: Special Summon that target. If this card is activated in response to your opponent's attack: Draw 1 card. If this card is activated in response to your opponent's effect: All damage you take from your opponent's attacks and effects this turn is halved.

 

Acceleranimal Forest Fire

Normal Spell

Send a number of cards your opponent controls to the Graveyard equal to the number of "Acceleranimal" monsters you control. You can only activate 1 "Acceleranimal Forest Fire" per turn.

 

F-Acceleranimal Inferno Weasel

FIRE - Level 7 - Beast/Fusion/Effect - 2200/2000

2 "Acceleranimal" monsters

You can also Fusion Summon this card by sending appropriate Materials you control to the Graveyard (You do not use "Polymerization" in this case). Cannot be destroyed by your opponent's attacks or effects. Once per turn, if an "Acceleranimal" monster attacks: You can halve the ATK of the attack target, and increase the ATK of all monsters you control by 100 for each "Acceleranimal" monster you control. If this card leaves the field, you can Special Summon up to 2 "Acceleranimal" monsters with different names, one each from your hand or Graveyard, except "F-Acceleranimal Inferno Weasel". You can only activate this effect of "F-Acceleranimal Inferno Weasel" once per turn.

 

4/5 maximum, given the rule we established last time about 5 cards max per person.

I didn't really set a max this time, mostly because the archetype is likely going to be massive. But yeah, limit it to about 5-7 for now, then if more support is needed because people left blanks, you can contribute something more.

 

Least you can get in here now, so that's good. (As said before, I'll add one of the other two to group once accepted, and maybe Uggla/Eshai if either show up. But take that up in the club thread)

Er.. you guys realize just how ridiculous all these cards are together, right?

 

I mean, Weasel's the only real enabler, but just normal summoning it is a +3 at minimum (since whatever it searches can just float into another copy of Weasel and Weasel can float the summoned monster again).

If this card leaves the field (except by its own effect): you can target any number of "Acceleranimal Token" monsters you control; destroy those targets, and if you do, Special Summon a number of destroyed "Acceleranimal" monsters from your Graveyard equal to the number of Tokens tributed, except "F-Acceleranimal" monsters. You can only use each effect of this card's name once per turn.

Acceleranimal Synchro Fusion

Trap

If you control a non-tuner "Acceleranimal" monster: Special Summon 1 Tuner "Acceleranimal" monster from your hand or Deck. Immediately after this, Special Summon 2 monsters from your Extra Deck (1 Fusion Monster and 1 Synchro Monster), by using the summoned Tuner monster and any number of "Acceleranimal" non-Tuner monsters you control. (These Special Summons are treated as a Fusion Summon for the Fusion Monster and a Synchro Summon for the Synchro Monster.)

 

 

Would've loved to run the gamut and do all the omni-fusions, but given the limit...

I didn't plan on having a limit, but to be fair to Nyx, Kyumi and whoever else gets added to this project, don't go overboard. In your case, probably can add them to Legacy support later.

But then again, the starter ones I made were just to get a general feel of the archetype. One small effect on Main Deck, then the floating stuff. ED have the extra one / buffs.

 

Weasel could probably have its search or SS effect moved to a different member (just pick one or the other; either will still be potent in the Deck).

If this card is Xyz Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Beast monster from your hand. If an "Acceleranimal" monster you control battles an opponent's monster, at the start of the Damage Step: You can send both monsters to the GY. If this card leaves the field: You can target 2 "Acceleranimal" monsters with different Levels in your GY; Special Summon them. You can only use each effect of "X-Acceleranimal Radiant Roo" once per turn.

Acceleranimal Overdrive
Continuous Spell

Once per turn, if an "Acceleranimal" monster(s) you control would leave the field, you can shuffle that monster(s) into your Deck, and if you do, Special Summon an equal number of "Acceleranimal" monsters from your Deck with different names to each other and that monster/

Overdrive is not meant to activate, as it is supposed to replace another Acceleranimal's effect to SS from the Deck with its own version, to extend a chain wherein the past monsters have been used.

As an aside, I feel this set is really strong. Forest Fire not targeting or destroying is a really easy means of removal, Inferno Weasel and Savage Panther can loop repeatedly into each other and repeatedly Summon Tokens if you have a means of sending Weasel back to the GY, Panther has that non-targeting Set Card spinning thing for basically no cost while enabling the monster's effects. On the other hand, we do have some really fun cards like Desperate Cry and Tinkerer's cards if they had some more hard once per turn or weren't as potent.

Also, dunno if we can keep in mind Link format for these cards. Links being Contact Fusions just sending these cards to the GY already creates an easy Knightmare plus with this set.

Idea was that we at least get some idea of designing in Master Rule 4 to an extent, or something that works both ways.

 

But yeah, Forest Fire's removal will be pretty nuts, given the amount of spam that this archetype is capable of (and mostly out of Draco and Tinkerer right now). Granted, it does require opponent to have enough stuff to destroy, but yeah. (Non-targeting send removal is REALLY strong, and once this gets posted, you can likely expect Darj among all people to rip its hide out.)

 

Targeting first, then sending could be looked into as a way to probably balance it out, but that really depends on how the rest of the set fares. But...consider it as punishing opponent for overextension.

The new HOPT on Inferno Weasel should prevent most shenanigans.

 

Honestly, as a set, Acceleranimals in MR3 are HUGELY NS reliant. If they're allowed to go off unimpeded, they can do some crazy stuff, but I could say the same thing about a lot of other Decks, even in the AGM. Setting a Warning and passing is more than enough to just kill the Deck for an entire turn, and given the Veldaion cards existing as more costly (but unlimited and capable of providing advantage) versions of Solemns, a lot of Decks the AGM can utterly annihilate Acceleranimals given the opportunity.

 

Also, Ash and the Incredibly Disturbing cards function as another solid "no" to this Deck, and the only effective counters the AGM has to Ash are Envious Ogre and Ryu-Ronin, one of which is shunted into a specific Deck and the other is a clunky Fiend.

 

In other words, while the Deck is hugely powerful, the AGM is equipped to handle it basically as is.

Yeah, AGM does have a lot of sheet in here that the current meta does not have. Of course, we still haven't given the Deck any form of backrow removal or whatnot, but leave that to Kyumi or Nyx (for time being, I guess).

 

Otherwise, it wouldn't hurt for Dova and I to do some solitaire testing with this on DP; you know, have them checked out a bit privately on our own before some vet goes apeshit about it once published.

Level 1 | EARTH | Beast/Effect | 100/1300

If you control no monsters: You can Special Summon this card and 1 other Beast monster from your hand, and if you do, monsters with that monster's name cannot activate their effects in the GY this turn. If this card leaves the field: You can Special Summon 1 "Acceleranimal" monster from your hand or Deck, except "Acceleranimal Monotreme". You can only use each of these effect of "Acceleranimal Monotreme" once per turn. Once per turn: You can target 1 other "Acceleranimal" monster you control; increase or decrease its Level by 1.

You may want to put a cost or two on some of these, Sakura. Those effects being the add and removal effects.
