Same problem here, anyone can help ?

Yes, that part of the Card Maker isn't working well. In case you're accesing YCM through a desktop computer (like I do), here's a method:

Upload your image to an image hosting site such as imgur, (or use Facebook, if you don't care your picture loweing it's quality a bit. Once you have done that, right click over the image and click "Open Image in a New Tab". Next, go to that tab and copy the URL at the top of the page. Lastly, paste that URL at "Picture URL" at the Card Maker and click Generate. Your image should be uploaded that way.

@The Real Persephone Diggen Listen, we want to help, but we can't help if you refuse to read and follow what is said.

  1. RIGHT CLICK on the picture you want to use in your card.
  2. Click OPEN IN NEW TAB.
  3. Copy/Paste the url from the NEW TAB into the card maker.

If the url does NOT end in ".jpg", ".jpeg", or ".png", it WILL NOT WORK.

The url that you are using: https://pixabay.com/photos/snow-snowy-mountains-peaks-rocks-4832106/ - (It doesn't have ".jpg", ".jpeg", or ".png" on the end)

The url that I used: https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2020/02/09/06/51/snow-4832106_1280.jpg - (It has ".jpg" on the end)

one of the like I copied was of a JPG photo, it still didn't work

You didn't open the specific photo you want in a new tab. It should give you a url that ends with ".jpg": https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2020/02/09/06/51/snow-4832106_1280.jpg

Once you have the link that ends with a correct ending, you can paste it into the card maker and it should work.

It would also help if you told us what kind of device you're using (Mac/Windows - PC, iOS/Android - Mobile). Knowing that makes it easier to explain how to do it for you.

that's what I did, it didn't work

I tried now with a link from the website named pixabay, it's not working

I don't understand why, but Nyx's comment above is right. Just to be 100% sure, let's try again. First, click the image you found there on Pixabay. Once it's become bigger, right click OVER it and click the option "Open Image on a New Tab". Now move to the new tab, and select the WHOLE URL, including the .jpg or .png. Copy it with Ctrl + C. Now on the Card Maker, click on Picture URL, paste the URL with Ctrl + V, and generate. It should work (I just did it again).

Well, for some reason this isn't working for me, any reason/opinion/idea why isn't working in my case? I did this proces and press on "Generate" but the preview image still white as default

That's strange. I just tried using my profile pic. right clicked on it, opened in a new tab, copied the url, pasted it and generated. Here's the result:

What does the url look like? If it ends with jpeg or png, it will work. Otherwise, it's not working. Like wiki images. Those hardly work, since they end with neither.

like this:

https://pixabay.com/photos/snow-snowy-mountains-peaks-rocks-4832106/

I tried JPG photo and it still don't work

You didn't open the specific photo you want in a new tab. It should give you a url that ends with ".jpg": https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2020/02/09/06/51/snow-4832106_1280.jpg
