Zamazenta the OS-Tan Fan Posted March 19, 2023 Author Report Share Posted March 19, 2023 @Sleepy @kyop @Horu I was able to fix my Windows 10 Laptop Graphics Drivers cause You wanna know how I know take a look at the above screenshots where my Taskbar is super Transparent and I was starching left confused on why the Settings app and UWP Flyouts and apps where not Transparent it was because I did not have my AMD GPU Graphics Drivers so I went on AMD's Website and downloaded and installed the drivers. So now I have the Windows 10 Taskbar Fluent Design and Fluent Design on the sign in screen do you ever have this problem when you do a fresh install where you don't have all of your drivers Well I didn't now I want you to take a look at these Screenshots from Before and After the AMD Install and I want your opinions on it I cannot watch YouTube Videos without the fans going wild that's why they where doing that the GPU is now enabled in Windows 10 with the AMD Drivers I installed for my hardware simple fix now I can watch YouTube videos without it pausing or it making the fans go wild that really helped when I did that. () FREAKING MINS WASTED! LIKE I HAD NOTHING BETTER TO DO! Oh yes to @kyop This is Windows Subsystem for Linux @Horu @Sleepy do you use (WSL) on your Windows? The first Image is WSL. BUT YEAH LINUX TODAY WAS A FUCKING PAIN IN THE ASS TO SET UP TODAY OF IT WASN"T WSL IT WAS FING VIRTUAL BOX Then in Ubuntu MATE cause Canonical the makers of regular Ubuntu asked its fellow Ubuntu Flavors to stop shipping Flatpack and defualt to fucking Snap packs if you wanna read the article you can learn more about it here https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2023/02/ubuntu-flavors-no-flatpak but yeah I'm pretty damn pissed so starting in Ubuntu 23.04 Luna Lobster "Ubuntu Flavors" are no longer allowed to offer Faltpacks out of the box no more cause they have to follow EVIL Canonical's Rules if regular Ubuntu doesn't do Faltpack neither will the "Ubuntu Flavors" You can still install the Flatpack command in the terimal then you can install Flatpacks via a GUI but that's pretty damn annoying >:( @kyop you use Ubuntu alot so you should know how it feels like to use Ubuntu's Snaps cause you said you used regular Ubuntu and Snaps are very slow. This is me using Seamless mode from Virtual Box its pretty @Horu I think you'll enjoy it. This too is also Seamless mode. Windowsblinds, 7+ Taskbar Tweaker, and OldNewExplorer these will all change the look and feel of Windows 10 and make it look like Windows 7 and for Windows 11 users this is why I said 6+ ExplorerPatcher changes that Fucking Ass New Taskbar from Windows 11 that looks ugly and is unwanted well you can replace it with the Legacy Taskbar that is used in Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 I think the older Taskbar is way better cause its more flexible. Zamazenta the OS-Tan Fan Posted July 8, 2023 Author Report Share Posted July 8, 2023 (edited) Me Happily Using Windows 7 on an Old Dell Touch Screen Laptop that was lent to me: Me in 2023 just using Windows 10 on my own Laptop yes this is the first Laptop that I own that isn't 2nd hand: - Me in 2021 Happy and I had Windows 7 by my side I was very happy when I had that Laptop, but I didn't get my own Laptop till 2021 which came with Windows 10 so its not like I hate Windows 10 or anything but I only got that Laptop in December. - Me in 2023 Kinda Unhappy using Windows 10 and wanting to use Linux I don't Hate Windows 10 or anything I've been using this Laptop for almost 2 years I've used Windows 10 before here and there but not everyday unlike when I was using Windows 7 everyday I tell ya Microsoft will never make a another Good Windows OS that is like Windows 7 with its UI and Functionality without adding any Bullshit or Adware Spywares Fucking Candy Crush and Fucking TikTok you know I just wanna switch to Linux sooner or later cause I HATE Windows 11. Zamazenta the OS-Tan Fan Posted September 1, 2023 Author Report Share Posted September 1, 2023 (edited) So its been a while since I last posted here well everyone I deiced to create a Linux VM of Zorin OS 16.3 Lite it uses the Xfce Desktop Environment and Zorin OS 16.3 Core uses the Gnome Desktop Environment, you know this is a thread about showing off your Desktops. So I deiced to not only take screenshots of my Zorin OS Lite VM but I went all the way and decided to customize it since it looks boring and deiced to make it look like how it is shown in the images down below here so enjoy. Heres what I did to customize it first I ripped out all of the bloatware out of Firefox then I changed its theme to look like Gnome's GTK4 Theme then I customized Zorin OS 16.3 Lite as well this is why I like Linux so much unlike Windows!!!, but yeah Xfce by itself can be made to look more pretty and much more pleasing to the eyes so I went ahead and made it to my liking and made my set up look nice and easy to use and removed anything I didn't like. But Yeah I have alot of Anime things on that VM such as Cyberpunk Edge Runners and Merryweather's Internet Exporer-chan ;-) I hope you can all enjoy the images I put up for ya'all.
