Well as long as you contraol that Field spell, you cant be direct-attack'd, and each summon you make is "replaced" with an invincible token.

That is interesting. Very interesting. By negating the Summon and making a Token with the same stats, the card shuts down all Effect monsters and direct attacks. It also neutralizes quite a bit of Spell and Trap cards, such as archetype specific support and destruction effects. It also makes it more of a beatstick vs beatstick duel.

oh, and 1 error - actual effect is that the summon of Tokens can't be negted. They can still be destroyed by regular means

I don't follow. The card negates all Summons and destroys the monster, bringing out a token instead. How would any monster without an effect from the hand or graveyard help?

Well, then that's just going off on a tangent, and assumes said Samurai didn't die at the hands of one of the Mask Tokens. I thought the whole conversation of using card X against this implied it was active since the start.

Thats pretty friggen busted and I hope to god they nerf it. Imagine facing a stall deck. Now, you can win via attacking and you lose ALL your monster's effects.

What I'm seeing from this card that if you're facing somebody who is using 3x of this with support and you have little to no S/T destruction, you lose.

No, it will be down to your opponent using Giant Trunade and attacking you directly with all of their Tokens because you don't have any protection.

Unless the tokens get destroyed when the field-spell leaves the field, it is possible to swarm, then take out the field spell, then attack for game with a bunch of 3000+ beatsticks that cannot be destroyed. Even EMERGENCY PROVISIONS *gets shot* could do it.

No, because what if your opponent doesn't have trunade, and what if you have tokens as well
