Hello, all. Now, I'm sure most of you have noticed the original Fancy Hero cards by Chizuruotohime at one point or another, and I want to make it clear that I am not plagiarizing her work. What are you about to see is the result of a collaboration between myself and Chizu - with her artist's permission, she provides the original images, and with my friend Chevalier's help, I edit them and transform them into anime-styled Japanese cards. The effects may differ from her originals, as this is how they will appear in my Fan Fic, Days of the Black Apple, with her permission.

Chevz: Yeah, I am really happy with how they turned out, especially Athena, although I still say that Aquamarie needed a stronger opacity on her pink outline...

 

And ugh, tell me about it. Still, she's supposed to be a 'come-back' card, so I think she'll be fine if she's only at one.

Yeah, she's pretty powerful, I know. There are way too many ways that you can Special Summon her, but she's really designed to be a 'come-back' card for the character who will use her in my Fan Fic.

 

This Thread is about Realistic Cards, yes, but it's also about appreciating the work that went into transforming the images. Thanks for commenting.

Well, again, she's geared towards an anime-styled Fan Fic, meaning that she'll be run at one, and of course, not pop up too often. If I ever decide to adapt her towards a more TCG/CCL-friendly environment, I would of course add a restriction, possibly changing her draw effect to activate only when she's Special Summoned from the player's hand.

It requires a translator program among some other things, and either Photoshop or GIMP for the actual Japanese text to be used. I think I did a decent job, but it's the images that I really like.

The pics are really good. Stop wasting hard work. Oh and if they are bad, at least they are better than all your card pics.

Okay, I'll try and address everyone's comments one at a time.

 

Tiger: Thanks, I'm glad you like them. However, what is it about the Japanese text that you dislike? Isn't your user title in Japanese? I'm flattered that you like the pictures, but I'd like to think that the effects are good, as well. What are your suggestions? Thanks for the near-perfect rating!

 

Element: It would be nice if you at least posted some kind of reasoning for your rating, but thanks anyways for the decent rating, even if it is undeserved. I mean, no offense to Lovely, but how can you give her Seabound Hero Cards 10/10 when they have so many weak points?

 

Viva: Mind if I call you Gato, eh? xD You're a sharp one, and I seriously can't believe that I forgot to say so... The Fancy Heroes are generally female versions of the Elemental Heroes, with varying/similar effects. I'll be sure to edit that in, and thanks for the high rating!
