Okay guys, hands down, Avatar is the BEST Sci-Fi movie EVER, and one of the best All-Time. It's the Star Wars of the modern era. But also 2x better then Star Wars. Just saw it, was completely blown away, storyline = 10/10, CGI/3D/Special Effects - 20/10, Characters - 9.99999999/10. Seriously, a must see movie.

Just watched it.

It has a simple story but the other elements were put with great detail.

I liked it. Its a great movie. Simple plot but has exceptional concepts.

He who has the bigger dragon is the most badass. XD

you know during those final parts, it did make me wonder why didn't Jake use his dragon and hurl the escort gunships into the main shuttles

I loved the movie it bumped Disney's Princess and the Frog off the 1st place. A very nice story line I just wonder where they will go next and why did Jake release Tu'rok.... This movie is a blend of an Old Western Flick mixed with SciFi.

In conclusion I suggjest you watch it now..

I thought the movie was okay, it looked nice especially in 3d(although it was a bit disoreintating at first) but the story wasnt very good and was really predicable in some places

also i never got why a space-to-ground attack is never launched even though it would be unstopable

i thought the mobile suits they used were really cool though

those mobile suits were nothing more than cheap battlemech ripoffs from games like mechwarrior and mechassault, but at least it's better to see it live

and the story was meant to be predictable. Even the Navi species name is siphoned off Native Villagers

the whole story is basically siphoned off from migration to the western US back in the late 1800s, where the Native Americans were there and we forced them to migrate off.

If you think about it, the Navi had a LOT of similarities with the Native Americans
